I absolutely love Dita. She has always made me stretch myself to be comfortable in my skin. I'm 59 years young and proudly purchased her BEAUTY BOOK! It's wonderful ❤
Dita is one of the reasons I am a burlesque showgirl today. My goal is to measure up the glamour and elegance she has attained in her beautiful lifetime ❤
I’ve watched Dita perform over the last decade and she’s truly flawless in person. Her books are amazing and I hope she will revive her glamour weekend retreat again!
My favorite part of NBP is how giddy Sir John is when he gets/gives a makeup tip ☺️ He'll just start wiggling and bouncing around. (I also love how intently Brooke listens. She seems so composed and fully embodied.) Truly the most delightful podcast out 🌹
Dita has always been so immaculate from the inside out. I’ve seen her perform a couple of times, and both times I left feeling so happy and so inspired. We only have one life to live, and we should live it exploring who we are and not allowing others to force us to conform.
Shout out to fellow club kids of the 90's. I think all of us evolved into out of the ordinary or extraordinary things as adults. We supported each other's creative expression!
I love when you guys said that what Dita does is healing. I’ve never thought of it like that before but it truly is healing. Every time I see her or listen to her speak, I feel rejuvenated. As if every care and insecurity I had means nothing and I should be my most authentic self. I went to her show about 5 years ago and it was such a pivotal moment. Loved this interview 🖤
I quite recently purchased Dita's book. She is remarkable on all fronts. I aspire to hone and thoroughly cultivate my own Femininity in a similar capacity.
I’ve always admired Dita and her story and poise. The word empowerment is something I don’t think about. Confidence and self esteem is what I see when I see her. Her every move and word exudes that. I love how she owns her style, but doesn’t pigeon hole it in a specific decade. She’s just glamour personified and I find her inspiring for my own style and confidence. I think growing up being not one of the ‘pretty’ girls has me relating to her on a personal level. Thank you for this interview with her. 🥰🙏
This is such an engaging interview! I love when Dita looks and feels comfortable with the people she's talking with, it's such a pleasure to watch ! She is such a treasure! 💖
I do also have to say that I love your podcast set. It is gorgeous relaxing. It’s not a table in front and abstract stuff on the wall. It’s very inviting and comfortable not only to you guys but also to us as the viewers I feel has us focus on what’s important which is you and your guest and the conversation in a Timeless Beautiful background
Saw her in person twice at her book signing and she literally took my breath away she is so stunning! Very graceful and nice to her fans. Saw her show twice in NYC, it’s fabulous!
Thank you for giving us so much time with Dita. You both interviewed her spectacularly. So respectful and I can tell from her energy that she really felt at ease.
Sending lots of appreciation to the interviewers, they gave her space to complete and elaborate on her thoughts. They didn’t synthesize her answer in the form of a mirrored comment but actually gave to the conversation as well. I’m here as a huge Dita fan and it’s because of the great energy of these people that even answers I’ve heard her say before came in a lifted and fresh aura. Beautifully done! 💋 ps I’m also a huge fan of her work in the fetish community, my jaw dropped when we didn’t get to see the full removal of her heels ! That would’ve been the juiciest cherry on top ! 😉😂
I use Albolene because of an IG makeup artist. I love it because: it gets everything off, leaves the skin feeling moisturized, AND the skin actually feels very clean (in case you're really too tired to wash )
Thank you so much for this video. I have been a huge fan of Dita Von Teese for years! I also have her book "Your Beauty Mark" and I treasure it. I was also lucky enough to go to one of her shows and it is truly fabulous. I laughed out loud when she was talking about her audiences and about the hetero men that were there who "are the husbands and boyfriends who don't know where they're at because it wasn't their idea to buy the ticket". LOL! Because that was definitely my husband. I found out she was going to be performing in my city, I bought the tickets, told my husband we were going and it was a blast, honey!
Even heavily pregnant the shoes are beautiful, Glamour as Dita mentioned You make pregnancy look easy and effortless when i know its the complete opposite ✨
I enjoy this woman’s tremendously, gorgeous, intelligent, funny, so poised and on point yet is not stiff or pompous in anyway, giving the epitome of a strong, intelligent, humorous woman that you could watch forever her person just in bodies Strengths and doing what you wanna do when you wanna do it in a positively fulfilling way
What a breath of fresh air you are, Dita 😋. I love your sense of freedom and how that gives us all permission to express ourselves and evolve as we feel. I love feeling how excited you both are to have Dita ❤❤❤
I absolutely LOVEEEEEEE Dita!! I have her book and recommended it to anyone who is interested in Old School Glamour and loves to do their own glamour. Also, I love the camaraderie between Dita, Brooke, and Sir John! This is a very pleasurable interview. Love seeing Dita so comfortable and in her element.
SIR JOHN! i'm late to the party. (shocker!) i'm just now finding out about this podcast! it's amazing! and lookit you! the last time i saw you, we were crossing Madison Avenue and you had three big La Prairie shopping bags in your hands! 🤣 (i didn't even know La Prairie had shopping bags!) ....and still to this day i ponder, "damn, i wish i woulda asked him what he was doing with SO MUCH La Prairie!" 🤣🤣 xo - mikey
Thank you for this wonderful interview! I absolutely loved it and love DITA VON TEESE. I love her dinner guest MARLENE DIETRICH ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Looveee this! I’m seen so many dita interviews I feel like I know all her backstories but Im always excited for any new interviews from her and really found this enjoyable+insightful ❤🖤 I’m happy she introduced me to this podcast and I’m excited to catch up on the past interviews. Love how you two break it down at the end as well
Some of the glamour packages of make up look very interesting on the monitors at the airport. There is a lipstick that looks like a real bullet shell with plenty of metal on the body. They are heavy in the purse as well. I admire people who have the time and put in the effort for non essential things like glamour packaging. :D
Sir John should speak about his time with Beyoncé. I’m sure he knows some tings …he was involved w jayz/diddy for sure. Cassie came with him every night. Interesting….
I realize people have stage names, but it comes off as rather pompous and arrogant to call yourself "sir" which is a title that can only be awarded. It sounds very self-serving.
the race card is hereeeeeeeeee. Actually she had a black woman in her show. But and if she didn't had?! What if there were other women (white or asian) that were better then black auditioning?!? 🙄
She is a walking dream. Her aura is so divine.
Agreed!
Truly
I absolutely love Dita. She has always made me stretch myself to be comfortable in my skin. I'm 59 years young and proudly purchased her BEAUTY BOOK! It's wonderful ❤
I have that book, too! Love it!
Love it xo I’m
37 but I want to b sexy foreva!!! lol
Totally agree with you) she's the same for me❤
Dita is one of the reasons I am a burlesque showgirl today. My goal is to measure up the glamour and elegance she has attained in her beautiful lifetime ❤
Following Dita in my 20s changed my life! She's such an inspiration I love this podcast just found it❤
Just subscribed! Wishing you all the best on your Burlesque journey

I’ve seen dita twice and she truly is one of the most breathtaking celebrities I’ve ever seen in person. And surprisingly she’s very humble.
Dita looks so Divine Here she Never Ages at all she Truly a walking Goddess on earth
Shout out to fellow club kids of the 90's. I think all of us evolved into out of the ordinary or extraordinary things as adults. We supported each other's creative expression!
Dita says... every day is a celabration day...
I love her❤
That was a wonderful conversation. Dita was so open and dynamic. Loved this!
She really was! Such a pleasure!
@@NakedBeautyPlanet Dita !!!! She is so cool and lovely
The part about the letter about the daughter who hid herself and then wasn’t afraid anymore when she found glamour almost had me tearing up
I loved both of your interviews with Dita. As a Michigander, she is absolutely one of us. Thank you for being your authentic self!
I love when you guys said that what Dita does is healing. I’ve never thought of it like that before but it truly is healing. Every time I see her or listen to her speak, I feel rejuvenated. She has genius spark! Love Dita, she's inspired me so much and helped me love myself when I was a teen and felt I didn't fit in!
I quite recently purchased Dita's book. She is remarkable on all fronts. I aspire to hone and thoroughly cultivate my own Femininity in a similar capacity.
DIta has her style down! Love it, she looks timeless!

She is so shy while talking, sweet person
No she isn't
Right!? 🥰
It’s funny but many eccentric performers are. Wouldn’t expect that from someone who strips for a living lol.
She was my introduction to burlesque, if I already wasn't down my career path I would become one. Cant wait to see her show in Vegas!

Love this podcast! Conversations are so full of substance and such good questions are asked. Remarkable podcast ❤
She’s truly classy and the epitome of glamour and grace and kindness, love Dita! She’s the only celebrity I look up to ❤️

Why are there so many screen cut- aways ????
It’s a way to keep attention I think but it’s too much.
the hair change suggestion came from sharon stone. Dita, I am a fan.

I love, love, love feminine & grqceful women.
Sharon Stone said that about her hairstyle😂

Louboutin loyalist?
He said "Cassie" Cassie?

Aww. I wish they gave the pregnant woman a better seat to sit in or a support pillow or something
I'm concerned of her side part hair line.
Lil black side table is cute
Doesn’t need Botox still beautiful
Marilyn Manson made her famous
Riveting
Every interview she has she says the same things ! Share something new
I realize people have stage names, but it comes off as rather pompous and arrogant to call yourself "sir" which is a title that can only be awarded. It sounds very self-serving.
That’s his legal name….
@@mbiyekasonga882 He legally changed it to Sir? Yep, that's pompous AF. Talk about entitled.
Get to the point. I clicked on the video for Dita. I didn’t click the video to hear about your personal lives. Change the title.
I've never seen black women performing in Ditas show...
Literally a black woman center stage in one of the clips they showed of the Vegas show….
Take this nonsense elsewhere 🙄
Then open your eyes before you comment, boo-boo
@@Yourrrrwooow. ONE event. 🙄
There are plenty of Black women in Dita’s shows. Go see her live.
