I used 2 coats of Nikwax suede and nubuck sponge waterproofer on my White Ledge hikers. It did smooth the grain. They have a nice satin look now. They look really nice. No shine

Is there any chance of undoing that smooth and glossy look in case I made the mistake of cleaning it wrong? Thank you.
