What a beautiful gift you received from your Friend Steve 🌟 Thank you Dear Royal Butler, for sharing your unpacking of it with us. And how lovely to see your grand Royal Dachshunds joining you for tea 🍵
Thank you for the delightful video. I always learn something from you, but I admit it's the Royal Dachshunds who keep me coming back again and again. You are so lucky they allow you to live with them!
It may seem silly but this episode reminds me of a little Yixing teapot I found once which had never been used in 20 years. It seemed so sad that was made for that one purpose and just sat on a shelf for, like yours, probably 20 years. I like to imagine that the pot is "happy" now that it regularly gets to make tea.
What a beautiful set. I received a beautiful and complete silver tea set myself when I retired 22 years ago. I have never used it. I believe I will pull mine out of storage and use it for a nice afternoon tea with some neighbors. We'll have an "English" tea with all the fixings!
Grant, what a pleasure to hear the thoughts of the snuggly Royal daschounds... I don't have spell check but you'll know who I mean. Those sleek and lovely Dogs. Thankyou for bringing some joy and beauty into a solemn and dull day...in bed but not sick
Thank you sharing with us this excitement!! ✨ Your new (old?) silver tea set is truly stunning 🌟 and with china together it's even more splendorous..✨☕✨ Many thanks to Steve ! But i believe that your friends are lucky as well to have you..🌟 This is proved by this fabulous gift!! ✨🎁✨ To all Royal Dachshunds 😘😘🤗..
I recently inherited a smaller set from my Granny, but it was her mother's in the 60s. The feet, handle and is it a called a knob?...on the pot, coffee I think, is identical but the milk jug and sugar bowl are much fatter, more spherical. Love them, they're so fat and squat 🤣🤣 I've since seen the exact pot in a local charity shop and several new old stock on eBay 🤣🤣🤣 but I adore my set. It's in very good condition, a few spots of wear but I don't mind that, it's been loved and is now on to its 3rd generation 😊😊❤❤
Silver plated? Perfect!! for someone like me who likes nice things but not the work to keep it looking as fine as silver plated. Great gift dear Royal Butler 😊❤
Hi Grant. Again like my candelabras, I gave away my Silver Tea Set when I was a young mum in my 20’s. Now at 60 I kick myself everyday. 🤪. Enjoy your beautiful gift. 🥰
Oh I neeed a silver tea set in my life…I’ve always loved them and now they have dropped in price ..I have a chance to get one. Doubt there was any EPNS at the palace 😜
Wow, I have several china tea sets but don't have any silver one. I would love to find a silver tea set which I like someday. You have an amazing gift.
That’s a lovely set. And what a gift. I’ve been heritage my grandmothers tea set. My grandfather bought it for her in the late 1940s or early 1950s when he was a military pilot. I’m not sure if it came from Japan or Germany. How do I know if it’s silver plate or silver?
It's gorgeous. And funny. Loved the rolling eyes .. "Very good my lord" Is this the stoicism your first respondent credits you with????😄from Aotearoa New Zealand
Those sets are quite common. I have one but mine’s not in as good condition. The only thing I don’t have is the tray. That set is so shiny. I suggest being careful with those little knobs on the top, the one on my sugar pot lid fell off.
I wonder if perhaps the tea set had been a wedding present, but was thought of as "too fancy" to ever use. (I do not have a silver tea set, but do have my mother's sterling sugar and milk jug, and use them often.)
Beautiful set and it will be lovely on any table, contemporary or traditional. It is great just to look at or use. How will you keep it looking in this great condition if you do not use it often. I keep looking at Shumba and company and I cannot tell if they are all standard or mini or the new one is a baby. You had mentioned you had a new addition at one point?
hello... do you recall the name of the manufacturer? i wasn't able to read the box, but i really like the aesthetics of this set and figured i'd have a go at hunting it down. thank you and congratulations on your lovely tea set!
Always fun to take a little break and watch.
What a beautiful gift you received from your Friend Steve 🌟 Thank you Dear Royal Butler, for sharing your unpacking of it with us. And how lovely to see your grand Royal Dachshunds joining you for tea 🍵
Beautiful. It is amazing that no one else used this set. It is beautiful .
Is a very beautiful gift for a precious person, that deserves it!!
Very nice, the new tea set. Now you can rotate use with your old one. ☕
Well done Steve, you are a friend indeed. What a magnificent gift and so appropriate.
Great gift! Could you in the future consider showing us an English bar set up. With cooler weather coming, I think that would be fun.
Thank you for sharing. Lovely experience. Vicarious unboxing. The set sounds robust when you set it on the table. Cheers, Royal Butler.
Thank you for the delightful video. I always learn something from you, but I admit it's the Royal Dachshunds who keep me coming back again and again. You are so lucky they allow you to live with them!

To all Royal Dachshunds 😘😘🤗..
I love the idea of having plain hot water on hand in case someone likes lighter tea.

Don't use too much starch on Shumba's newspapers!
What a nice friend you have. The tea set is beautiful.

Never a dull day to wake up to a fantastic video by you Mr Grant! The zoom call was a blast! Truly worth the stay up to 5:30!
Thank you for watching 🙏
Beautiful!
Thank you for sharing
Though your set reminds me of a set owned by the royal collection, which is a tea and hot chocolate travelling set
What a lovely gift!! That silver service is beautiful!! I loved this. :)
Beautiful! ❤

Can you share some tips on how to clean and maintain this set

I'm here
The tea set is exactly similar as mine.
A maker's mark and where it was made may help discern its age.
Beautiful set. What company made it ?? ☕
Beautiful can I know the price please .
Place a wee bit of the bottled liquids behind you into mine, please. It’s Friday 😊. Cheers.
