Thanks for the Review on the Solo and explaining the operations on it as well 👍. I might have to get this Cam as well 👌. Liked and shared ✅. Cheers 🙏🇨🇦.
I’ve been looking at these and honestly torn. I want to get a second action cam for my UA-cam channel, but I’m still seeing mixed reviews and a 3.7 of 5 on Amazon. Thanks for sharing your review! You have a new subscriber!
I try to take amazon reviews with a grain of salt… especially when it’s technology related. Some people have an issue that can be user error (wrong sd card etc etc) and immediately go post a negative review instead of reaching out to customer support. Just my 2 cents. I don’t think you will be disappointed. I just posted a video showing the solo extreme with the FTS system. Very versatile camera. Good luck. I subbed back. 👍🏻
@@TripleRwoods That’s nuts! I was actually looking at the FTS on the Tactacam website right before I read your reply! That’s crazy!😁 I decided to try the Solo extreme after watching your video. I ordered it this morning. I’m gonna give it a real go before I do the FTS attachment. Thanks for the sun buddy. My channel isn’t polished or anything fancy. Just a common fella . Have an awesome and blessed day!
Not sure if Solo Extreme has the EV setting, but I have found my Fishi EV set at factory "0" is over exposed and has sun glare reflection issues from ground objects causing the video to have a washed out look. I experimented and dropped my daytime setting down to "-2.0" (that's a minus sign) and the sun glare from ground objects was greatly reduced. I owned the older 2.0, and now have the Fishi and 5.0 model. Weapon mounted cameras have their place, but I have found a hat mount gives much better video quality as there is almost zero shot vibration and no slam sound to the camera as the bow or crossbow goes off. You can also film wildlife simply by turning your head without having to move your weapon which is a huge advantage. I mount a Fishi on my hat, and the 5.0 (minimum zoom) on my weapon. The fishi is set at 1080p 60 frames, and the 5.0 is set at 2.7k 30 frames for crisp video and good low light capability. 2.7k also allows you to software edit in some zoom and still have good resolution. Slo motion at 120 frames is limited to 1080p, and though the slo mo is cool, the high frame rate loses image quality very quickly before sunrise or after sunset.
The camera itself puts off wifi. It’s just a better connection than Bluetooth. Ur phone connects to the wifi just to get into the connect app. You don’t have to actually use wifi if you don’t want.
@@TripleRwoods So, to be clear, I never have a cell signal where I hunt. Will I be able to connect the camera to my iPhone even in an area with no cell service or Wifi?
@@TerryKetterer76it basically just make its own signal that your phone picks up on, its not a cell signal so you couldn’t use the tactcam wifi you use the internet. Its just faster than bluetooth
No tactacam is not worth $0.25 It won’t work on my A400 12 gauge I shoot my gun the battery inside disconnects and corrupts any video it recorded It is a waste of time and money in my opinion I yet to be able to record one single bird shot while hunting out of a layout goose blind
Hounstly bro taticacams I feel where orginally made for filming bow hunters.. the recol and vibration of my bow dosent bother it at all i have a 5.0 absolutely love it
I’ll update my review solo cam finally set me up to deal with one person who helped me out immensely She sent me a replacement cam At his cam is everything and more what they say it is I been using it for everything with my retriever training On a tripod on a head mount on my 12 gauge It doesn’t seem to have a flaw I’m very satisfied with it now
Thank you for the review and nice shooting.

The MSRP is $200. But it’s $150 at bass pro and basically everywhere.
For the extreme or the orginal solo
