I had the same problem with an old Manrose Gold. So armed with your excellent video I got the same replacement as you - found out it was from Wickes by the packaging! Then followed your video and went well. Thank you!
@@how-to-videos Just tell you more how your video helped me. My friend's fan was not working and i helped her to replace a new one. Now, I become like a hero in front of her....hahahah...Have a good evening
Had a new one fitted a few weeks ago, today it has been making loud fan noise all day even though the light switch is off! It’s been raining all day and water is coming through it.. will have to get the electrician back here to fix it
I want to fit a manrose 12 volt fan in bathroom .The existing 12 volt fan has died . I fitted the new one ( 2 wires only ) but it won't work .So now I am beginning to wonder if the transformer in the loft is kaput .What I am trying to find out is can I somehow fit this new 12 volt fan to the mains . But there are only 2 wires coming from the transformer in the ceiling . HELP
@@how-to-videos I’ve got to replace mine - waiting for it to come. I’ve got a smart switch and I heard that these can be tricky with e-fans so am I bit worried if it’ll fit.
@@how-to-videos Have you asked Manrose if it's compatable with an LED lamp, I think it's not unless Manrose have updated it to run with an LED lamp as all lamps are now being changed to LED lamps

Nice vid, do you seal the extractor fan to the ducting? Or does it just loosely fit to it?
Thanks very much for watching and for your comment. I didn't need to seal it, you just screw it into the wall.

The cover should just come off by wriggling it. Unless you can see any screws. Thanks for your comment and for watching 😊
