Little tip, I wouldn’t recommend running normal parry on any shield especially medium shields, run carian retaliation or golden parry, they have the same parry frames no matter what shield you use
Great question! Sorry that wasn't explained. Since you can set any weapon art for this weapon, you can also set an additional scaling stat for it, which ends up at B scaling, depending on what you choose. It makes this weapon work really well with any build.

If you use any thrusting sword with a shield, you can keep your shield up and still poke without it automatically coming down
Yeah and this works well with the turtle shield, you can almost never run out of stamina.
@@GrapeReason I use the gilded greatshield since it doesn’t have a skill with Bloody Helice. I can still use Helice’s skill with it
