🚗 Welcome back to "Exploring Sweden Part 2" as we continue our unforgettable road trip through the stunning landscapes and charming towns of Sweden! In this installment, we dive deeper into the coastal wonders and culinary delights that the country has to offer.
🏖️ Our journey begins in the picturesque town of Båstad, where we settle into our accommodations at the cozy Rasta Motell Hallandsåsen for two nights of relaxation and exploration.
🌸 From Båstad, we set out to explore the scenic Kullahalvön and Bjärehalvön, stopping at iconic landmarks such as Norrvikens Trädgårdar, Torekov, Arild, Arilds Vingård, Kullens Fyr, Mölle, Flickorna Lundgren på Skäret, and Josefinelust along the way.
🍤 Dining takes center stage as we indulge in a classic Swedish delicacy, the Räkmacka (shrimp sandwich), at the trendy Boathouse restaurant in Båstad.
🍷 After two fantastic days, we bid farewell to Båstad and venture towards Österlen, often referred to as Sweden's Provence, where we explore enchanting sights including Forsakar Waterfall, Knäbäckshusen, Kivik, Sågmöllan, Kiviks musteri, Reunion Home, Kåseberga with its famous Kåseberga Fisk, Olof Viktors café, Ystad, and Möllers Bryggeri.
🏕️ Our home base for this leg of the journey is First Camp Åhus, where we unwind in the serene surroundings and savor a delicious evening featuring smoked shrimp purchased from Rökeriet in Åhus.
