In the Stockholm archipelago there's 24000 islands. Looks like you missed the 30-34° C heat wave we had. When were you here? Pancakes: light summer lunch, or dessert on a Thursday after the peasoup. (Very old tradition). Some restaurants have them on the kid menu. But never ever for breakfast. I hope you tried an open big shrimps sandwich!

Oh yes!!! I live in Stockholm, but you absolutely did the right thing to go to the West Coast. A paradise for children. Get a bucket for the crabs and do crab races!! Also, Liseberg is so much better than the Gröna Lund we have. Thank you for bringing back wonderful childhood memories of visiting my Grandmother.
