I can understand struggling to work through childhood trauma, as someone who experienced child abuse; that shit sticks with you for life, even if you get help, it can be really hard to move on depending on the severity. However, what I can't understand are the people who choose to continue the cycle instead of being the ones to break it. Because I know exactly how it feels to be on the receiving end, I would never intentionally hurt anyone else, but it seems that people like Jason get off on the power of doing the same thing to someone else, like it'll somehow make up for what happened to him. That's so gross and sick.

Guys. The woman in the video is *not* creepshow art. Drew was crediting her footage from a video she did on the topic. It's an interview with the ACTUAL teenaged fan. That isn't what CSA looks or sounds like. While it is jarring to see her name, it being from her channel doesn't actually take away from the girl's statement or even have anything to do with creepshow herself.

See, that's what I don't understand about UA-cam as a platform. They allow manipulators, child groomers, abusers and all around terrible people on the platform and do nothing about it, but then the second someone makes a video reporting on crimes or even playing somewhat violent games they're instantly demonetized even though they aren't hurting anyone, and the other kind of people I mentioned before are. The only thing I can think of is that those influencers usually make more money for the platform through views than others do. Drew has continued this style of commentary for the past few years and I think it really shows his strengths. He balances comedy with heavier topics and it’s all clear that he thoroughly thinks about what he says and then how to say it.
I literally despise Jaystation. Not only does he exploit others people’s deaths, regardless of them being fake or not, he posts these insanely horrible videos. Like the one you mentioned with buying slaves off the dark web, and how he bought a “gay” potion and acted stereotypically gay. But what really pisses me off is how UA-cam didn’t really do ANYTHING to him. They let him be, which, well, look at the results UA-cam. Great job.

This summer, I was approached by the 10ish year old girl that lives next to me in our backyards. She was a really loud and energetic kid, but most kids are, so that's fine. She rambled about Roblox and her favorite games... Then, out of nowhere, she talked about Jaystation and that he was wrongfully going to jail, but he was actually a good person. She believed his videos about ghosts and the dark web, 100% saying that all these things were happening. The fact is, kids are believing and learning that these behaviors are okay, and that unnerves me.
:( I am so sad for all of these girls. I can’t believe they had to go through this kind of abuse and then watch this guy be lauded by millions of people. It’s heartbreaking that UA-cam lets abusers have a platform to make money off harmful behavior, especially when he’s shown that he will actively hunt down young women to groom for abusive relationships.

My mom died from drinking and diving. I was 7 months old it was Dec 23rd and she hit a tree luckily she did not harm any other person while she recklessly drank and then drove. I was sat down and explained to when I got older exactly how my mom died. I was about 9 years old before then I just knew she had died. It was sad but honestly I am glad my grandma (I call her mom) to,d me at a young age because it shaped my life. I am 31 now and I have never even taken one a sip of alcohol and drove. I will never allow my stupidity and recklessness to cause a car wreck and cause a family the same hurt and sorrow my own felt when that knock came in that early morning after my mom was gone. Plus if my parents (who as I said are my grandparents) to have another knock on their door saying another child had been the cause of a wreck killing my self, or another person. It’s such an easy choice to just NOT DRINK & DRIVE, there is never an excuse to drink and drive.

The country I'm in allows you to hit your kids as long as you dont leave a bruise or make them bleed so until I was about 8 (2 f my siblings were 3 and 6 years older) they would "lash" us. See, that's what I don't understand about UA-cam as a platform. They allow manipulators, child groomers, abusers and all around terrible people on the platform and do nothing about it, but then the second someone makes a video reporting on crimes or even playing somewhat violent games they're instantly demonetized even though they aren't hurting anyone, and the other kind of people I mentioned before are. The only thing I can think of is that those influencers usually make more money for the platform through views than others do.

The difference is that some victims try to heal from their pain and try to become a better person which is a long and difficult way and the other victims just don't give a sh*t about others and trying to make it as easy as possible for them by blaming others for their mistakes. My mom died from drinking and diving. I was 7 months old it was Dec 23rd and she hit a tree luckily she did not harm any other person while she recklessly drank and then drove. I was sat down and explained to when I got older exactly how my mom died. I was about 9 years old before then I just knew she had died. It was sad but honestly I am glad my grandma (I call her mom) to,d me at a young age because it shaped my life. I am 31 now and I have never even taken one a sip of alcohol and drove. I will never allow my stupidity and recklessness to cause a car wreck and cause a family the same hurt and sorrow my own felt when that knock came in that early morning after my mom was gone. Plus if my parents (who as I said are my grandparents) to have another knock on their door saying another child had been the cause of a wreck killing my self, or another person. It’s such an easy choice to just NOT DRINK & DRIVE, there is never an excuse to drink and drive.
I think it was pretty clear that she wasn’t dead when he shouted “1 LIKE = 1 PRAYER FOR ALEXIA!!!!!” Like nobody who actually lost a loved one would ever say that! The worst thing is that kids are the main ones watching this. They would believe this, and they are going to think this behavior is okay. Kids are sponges and they need to have good role models or at least not this piece of work.

My dad was the same way with the "never hit a woman" (I didnt count because kids aren't people). He'd just "restrain" you so he could say he didn't hit you. These types of guys will not see what they're doing as wrong because they lack empathy for others and think whatever they're doing is for the absolute greater good

"it's not technically abuse" I've had to say that to myself and others too many times than I should have. The country I'm in allows you to hit your kids as long as you dont leave a bruise or make them bleed so until I was about 8 (2 f my siblings were 3 and 6 years older) they would "lash" us. It's been about six years and its still hard to accept that it was abuse even if it stopped and even if its legal. I really hope you were able to escape you awful dad and find a group of people that really love you and treat you with respect.
