GPX6000 coils depth test vs GPZ7000 x-coil

Depth testing the various GPX 6000 coils and the 10" x-coil on the GPZ 7000 to see how they perform on two tiny gold nuggets.
This is an air test and is not intended to be 'scientific' - just a bit of fun to see what each of the coils sound like on the gold.

For all around performance I liked the 10x5 coil tek #1. I have the 14x9 coil tek and it is fantastic also. Good comparison!

Id like to see the 7000 12in NF included and shifted to Normal as well as difficult - especially the X coil too

Good comparison overall for an air test, when the weather gets better, will probably do a soil test with buried targets next time

On the first coil tested?What have you put on the front half of the coil ?Duct tape to keep wear and tear at a minimum?

Yes, duct tape. To protect coil from rubbing scoop over it.
