Just a simple demonstration as fair as possible between the 3 set ups. not meant to be an in-depth review just interesting results on the day .....enjoy !!!
very interesting the second machine was alot more clearer and definitely wouldn't miss it. other two if I move the swing to fast would easily miss it. great video guys. 🙂👍
Great to see that in person. As you could see the sensitivity loss on the bigger 14x9 was noticed. Time to try the 10x5 :) Big shout out to Logan for the weekend of training
I seen quite a bit of criticism on the 6 since it’s release on YT now Im a 5 user who has messed around with the 6 occasionally and I’m blown away with its performance. If u walk over it large or small deep or shallow it will nail it, maybe it’s just a user thing. More training from u mate might be needed out there hey mate
Why only test the 6000 on sensitivity 1 when you could have used auto 1 or if emi was bad enough that you had to use sensitivity 1 you should be using the supplied DD coil
Thanks Andrew While I understand your request it was never a video designed to test the outright performance.... purely an example of two people hunting in a comfortable set of settings for the day/location/environment . Its one target .... one moment . The 6000 manual... if you read it will tell you the only time you should use the DD coil is in the most extreme emi/ground conditions when the mono is unable to be stabilised and as for auto 1 those two settings were actually desgined for the African market and as an engineer at Minelab explained to me on messenger is not recommended for users in Australian soil conditions ... Hope that was helpful and in no way a dig at your comment mate just some conversations I had with ML during my time with the 6000 ahead of release that is interesting but still not quite publicly well known
"sort of just comes and goes".... immediately takes the coil to the side and ground balances - good man!
Nice little piece of gold, but look at that new pick go. And a big shout out to the factory coil on the SDC. ☺
Good stuff Logan. Cheers 🍻
Thanks Steve always good to catch up mate see you out there one day
You have to love the double signal on the 6, shallow targets.
thanks for the vid Logan - pretty impressive showing from the stock out the box SDC
Great vid, would love to have seen the 10x5 Coiltek in the comparison too!
