This episode, is about one of the best cafe racer projects I have ever seen, with a Ducati 749S.
And the most curious, it is not exactly the work from a professional builder.
It was built by Kaspar, who builds custom bikes as a hobby, under the moniker of "Kalapea Garage", in Estonia.
    I hope you like it.
My special thanks to Pedro Torres, for his great help with my english.
Here are some interesting links about this Builder:

The style reminds me more of the mid 70’s Super Sport then the early 2000’s Super Classic Ducati bikes.
I think people are loosing site of what this bike was meant to do, ride in drag races. With that in mind, the changes of extending the rear wheel keeps the bike planted on the ground for takeoff. Having a small fuel tank is the norm in drag racing also. It needs to have only enough fuel to reach the 1/4 mile run. Any more is added weight and space.
Overall, a very well designed bike for its intended purpose.

Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. What you said about the fuel tank makes all sense. But Kasper never mentioned that detail. That's why I always thought it was a mere original gas tank, which became apparently small after the changes. Regarding the extended mono swingarm, I thought this choice was obvious, which is why I didn't comment it during the video. But I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.

    It's a gorgeous "Doo-caddy".
I had a 1991 Ducati 750SS half-fairing back in 1998, and even if I loved the chunky "ugly" square headlight.
But this round one would have been an interesting option...
Keep up the EXCELLENT work, thank you.

Its a lovely project and so much thought into the engineering and design. As a black woman though I care not for the logo on the seat cowl. In the UK this was the Logo for "Robertsons Jam" and featured a totally non politically-correct depiction of a "Golly" black minstrel slave. Robertsons Co removed this logo after a lot of anti -racist comments back in the early 1980,s and is now illegal here. Your man has used the same logo but reversed the monochrome to white...it even still has the same dickie bow. Awesome bike though , its very very Kool. Thank you.

    • @RACER_TV
      @RACER_TV  10 місяців тому

Hi. As a Portuguese, I never heard about that "Robertsons Jam" logo story. But after searching the internet, I realized where the problem was. But in this case, although there are similarities in the design, I can only interpret the doll as a friendly ghost (Casper) due to the name of the builder, which is 'Kasper'. Thank you Dear for sharing your perspective. For a change, it is always a nice to see a woman here :) Cheers.

I feel that the proportion of the tail/seat and the front fairing are huge in comparison to the tank…. 😮 as I am typing this comment I’m watching the video and you just shared the same opinion in your video 😊. I love the stile and the idea but it certainly can be improved with the right proportions. Thank you for sharing this project.

Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds really very real and professional for most non-English Speakers.:) Cheers.

Not even 10 seconds in and I'm already to leave and watch something else. Do the creators not understand that the AI voices are SHYTE?
Seriously. If you're making money off these (as I'm sure you do or why bother) then pay a damn voice actor instead of going for the cheapest route.
It ABSOLUTELY hurts my brain to have to listen to the stilted, disjointed AI speach.
Imagine that it's some person that's not pre-read the material and you hear them pause
before they continue with the remainder of the sentence.
That's what AI voices sound like to English speakers.
