Thank you again for such helpful tips and advice! 💐💐💐💐 Can I use my (acrylic) kolinsky brushes for hard gel? I started to work with acrylic, bought good quality kolinsky brushes, but I can’t use it as the monomers give me bad headaches 😢 can I use them for gel applications instead?
💅♥️🌸🥰🌹Thank you, I’m new to gel nails! Hubby bought me hole acrylic and gel set for Christmas! I’m so scared of gel! 🤓Well today’s is the day! Thank you for all your help! 🙏🏼💅🎀💝😇🥰⭐️😇
I love your videos, I'm new to doing gels. Can you please tell me what a beginner should start with? I'm interested in Japanese gel, but don't where to start.
Tjamk you for this video. My daughter and I recently started doing gel nail (3mth ago). We really like.it better than acrylic. So, when storing the brushes, is it a must to use base gel or can I use any clear gel? I k.ow you kept saying base gel in the video. I ha e clear hard gel. Will that work?
Ugh!! I did! Almost the whole set! Like 5 years ago... but they were not my favorite. Maybe I ruined them or something (I was much younger in my career) because they kind of went stiff on me, which is usually no biggie for me with other brushes that have gone stiff. I know how to revive them. It was such a weird experience seriously, love her work, but I never understood the hype about the brushes w/ how weird they got on me.
@@PaolaPonceNails ooh darn that must have been a let down back then! I'll keep that in mind. The only reason why I'm considering buying them is because they sell the complete set with caps too haha. But they sure are pricey 😬 thanks for letting me know!

I have a video on this exactly. It’s in my library, probably no more than 6 months old??
Thank you!
Sure!
Can you do brushes review for leafgel and vetro please? 🥺
I have a brush for my clear builder gel, would I still use the base gel to clean this brush? Or is the builder gel the same as a ‘clear gel’?
You would use the gel you have assigned to it, in this case builder. Base would be ok too.
I always get glitter stuck in my brush😩😩

Hi this has nothing to do with this video but I was wondering can you do a tutorial on how to remove Kokoist Gelips!
What do you do if your brush doesn’t come with a cap?
Can i use a acetone free nails cleanser ?
Should be ok.
Great video! Btw Paola, have you used tati art chocolat brushes before? Would you recommend them?

Where can I get those vetro brushes???
Try www.vetro.ca
Is 90 % Isoopropyl alcohol ok to use?
It’s fine when deep cleaning.
@@PaolaPonceNails Thank you-I just ordered some brushes and wanted to learn how to take care of them:)
@@PaolaPonceNails Thank you!
Is non-acetone safe to use also?
It usually has still like 1% acetone. Maybe a true non-acetone if you ya e nothing else.
Paola Ponce Nails will the alcohol remove the nail polish color from the brush though?
A clear gel polish? Or clear hair gel?
I wash them when colour won't budge. I'll implement a condition layer of gel as I usually do not. My brushes have held up thankfully.
finny, bcuz hair is porous. im suprised you can use same brush on multiple customers

Gel does not wash off in water and soap. You must use alcohol and condition with gel.
