haha thanks man. But 100 hours that's pretty good if your playing default seasons I'm guessing your around 13ish years in? It took me 27 years to have all the buildings in place and 13 to decorate. A total of 280-300 hours about probably. It's just about sticking with the grind I guess.
Nope... deleting this game before i invest 50 days OVER DECORATING the way you did. You sir are on another level. I can't begin to imagine how much of a struggle this was.
haha yeah the decorating can be a huge grind. I was really committed to finishing this project so I managed to stick it out, but I wanted to stop a few times. It took me 144 in-game days to do it the way I wanted.
Wow thanks so much for the kind words! And thanks for watching! Same here MD is amazing, I was really hoping Wild West Dynasty would be similar. Hopefully they can bring it up to that level eventually.
@@RoboCharged Oh you are very welcome. Amazing at how that village looked. I have played for awhile and my towns look like garbage compared to yours. Lol. I really hope they can add more to this game. Wild West also has potential but we shall see.
Thanks Im glad you noticed! That was a real point of emphasis for me i literally tried to keep as many as I could especially some of each kind and if in clusters close together. I felt like working around them would look more natural and literally thought long and hard before taking one down besides initial space clearing.
I really wish this game had a sandbox mode with unlimited resources to build villages like this without all the other stuff. It would motivate me to keep playing this game. Going through all the grind in the beginning and the walking to other villages to recruit people and etc. discourages me from playing this game more.
That's a good idea! Yeah as much as I love this game I kind of felt like there was nothing left for me to do in it once I finished my village. And I just couldn't get motivated to start a new play through knowing I'd have to grind through so much at the beginning again. Not to mention the decorating can be tedious once all the buildings are done. But it's kind of necessary if you really want to bring life to your village.
I couldn’t agree more with both of you. And Robo, fantastic job! I’m definitely going to show my wife this (bigger MD fan than myself lol). But I agree with y’all because I’m a builder, although I occasionally enjoy the grind, at the end of the day I just want to be creative. Figure things out that way, then start a new game with the grind, because then I know what I’m facing and doing.
Or at least an edit mode where you can move the buildings and pause what’s happening to layout the village how you want it without worrying to eat drink and manage the people
Great village, I enjoyed the tour you gave. Especially the section of your pastures and then the walk to the secluded hunting lodge, very cosy. Also the idea with the wooden spears over the fire places, if I'm not mistaken, gonna have to try that.
Thanks you I'm glad you enjoyed the tour! Yes those were all wooden spears, I actually made a UA-cam short to show them up close previously if you want a better look at them. ua-cam.com/users/shortsa1Um_p0puDA?feature=share
@@RoboCharged It must have took you quite some time to throw them at that angle and have them alined so perfectly, if that's the way you did that, impressive.
@@sts7742 Yes actually it took me quite a few attempts! But I didn't know at the time as Rose has later mentioned, 1st person is best for throwing them at an angle like with the first fire with the meat over it, and 3rd person allows you to throw them straight down standing straighter like with the 2nd fire with the bucket. Knowing that should cut down on the amount of attempts. I just happened to switch camera views and get it by accident after a long time haha. I even tried standing on barrels to throw them first with no luck. Other than that the best advice I can give is make the fire first and then a bunch of spears and just start throwing them until you get what you want haha.

Congrats on the pigs! I probably can't remember enough now to give you any tips you haven't already come across watching videos. But just in case best things I can remember to mention are to focus hard on flax fields because the seeds and stalks plus linen thread you can make etc are all super valuable. And getting any animals you unlock shelters for asap is def key because they start to basically pay the taxes and then some just by selling some every year with no effort accept using a menu. Plus the constant manure for fertilizer/eggs/milk/wool etc. Making sure to have your own supply of straw/oats/rye to keep up with crafting animal feed without spending is important though. The game kinda goes from a yearly struggle money wise to suddenly breaking through at a certain point where you just have more than you know what to do with eventually if I recall correctly. When you eventually get the mine, market stalls, have all animals with some of each to sell every year, and a large scale automated farming system you can't even really spend what you make if you tried!@@budadi

@@RoboCharged ua-cam.com/video/DXihlqUZPpQ/v-deo.html Here is a link to a lil video I took of my village. It's definitely not as nice as some I've seen on here but I've worked very hard on it!
Thanks! I actually just had a discussion about this with a viewer on my shorts bridge vid. So im on xbox series X and it first worked that I noticed after the winter update just over a year ago. But Ive been told by a PC player that it doesnt work all of a sudden since the new coop update. I havnt been able to personally confirm that since its hasnt released for console yet. I posted a vid on my twitter showing it still works at least for now on console. The key was the fence could only be one section in length. If you stretched it far enough where it breaks into 2 fence sections it wont work. But the planks arent long enough for that in the middle anyways. Needs to be a small plank type width stream. Are you on PC? Let me know if you try it how it goes! If on console my last twitter post shows me doing it as a test recently link in my bio RoboCharged on there too.
Wow... in the first 2 minutes of the tour i got goosebumps. i really felt like iam there at the time. This is the best Village in MD ive ever seen so far. It got me so many inspirations to built some things. I already built on the exact same location. Started 3 days ago again. Iam on year 7 now. Really great work with all those little ideas of decoration. Question: What did you use for the Chicken and Goose poop on the ground?
Wow thanks! I'm so glad you were able to take some inspiration from it! Nice, that's definitely my favorite location in the game! Good eye noticing the bird poop lol! For that I just dropped daub all around. Good luck and happy building!
wow thats really impressive.. what a dedication 🤩 most fav feature.. 11:28 min ..a lil feature, but i love it😍👌 (and uuuh one day i`ll have a pc that will be able to handle that much light aswell.. sadly my xbox is stubborn and not willing to 😂)
Thanks I'm glad you liked it! I put that lil feature in just to fill space near the end. It took me awhile to think of what I could put there that would look good and make sense in the middle of the street.
Thanks Im so glad you liked it! If you go to the 16:58 mark of the video I show the map zoomed in with all the types of buildings and you can see the layout. I also left a list in the description of the number of each building I have in the village. I stuck with the default 70 building limit. Also for a look at it before any decorating took place along with another view of the map and layout at the beginning, my first village tour is also available on my channel! I hope that helps, if you have any further questions Im happy to answer!
Unfortunately they might have removed the ability to do that from the game since the Oxbow update. Ive heard mixed comments on the subject but cant test it personally yet since Oxbox isnt yet available outside of steam. And I purchased the game on xbox. I actually just happened to upload an alternative bridge build that doesn't rely on the use of fences however if you are looking for a way to build one. ua-cam.com/video/dmuRBxAD4OI/v-deo.html&t
How do I raise my building limit past 70 when I have no more chapter quest available⁉️ I’ve seen people with 160 buildings but I can’t have more than 70. It’s very annoying.
I never tried to raise the building limit, I just left it at default once I saw my frame rate on Xbox Series X dropping I abandoned those plans. But I'm pretty certain 70 is default so chapter quests stop there. Going beyond that is something you need to change in the custom options menu like where you find adjustable season length and stuff like that. I think it's a meter where you can adjust it to 200% if I remember right to max it out.
Rose is amazing for sure I love her village and her channel! We actually used a few of each others ideas. I was really honored when she commented on some of my videos!
Thanks! On xbox once you drop an item out of your inventory you just hold the A button to grab it and then release when you have it where you want. The buttons to control items will be listed on the bottom right of your screen, such as the RT for rotating items.
Hi yes gladly! I used 6 songs all by a wonderful musician named Alexander Nakarada. The songs I used in order are called: Tavern Loop One, Forest Walk, Woods Of Imagination, Medieval Chateau, Village Ambiance, and Magic Tavern. He has his own youtube channel with those and many others which I'll link below... www.youtube.com/@anakarada/featured
There are fences and walls with gates but not actual castles unfortunately. I tried my best to kind of make a motte and bailey look here. Made a sort of fort on the hill with palisades. And upgraded the houses up there to stone. I was really hoping for that to though!
Hello and have a good day I wanted to ask if you would also make the score available as a download because it is just such a beautiful village Sry for my bad English I wrote it with a translator
@@RoboCharged Ok, thank you very much for your answer, it's really a pity that it doesn't work. I would have liked to have built your beautiful village a little bit because unfortunately I'm not that creative
I don’t know if you are from USA Or UK but man… I saw like 20 videos about medieval dynasty building and don’t get me wrong, your village is lit but everyone have the same issues 1) medieval villages were built around a church and the center square with the town market where you had the oldest houses close to the artisans shops. this made up the center. Beyond were the stone walls from which the countryside started, made up of larger houses and farms. Every time I see a video about this game it looks like white USA suburbs BUT IN THE PAST 😅 we had no spaces like Americans use to have, we used to build stuff really close to other stuff
Yes I hear ya on all of that. I'm from Canada but I do love European medieval history. I took some liberties with my layout because after all it is just a game that doesn't even include a church. I wanted to make it much more crowded but I couldn't up the build limit on console like I'd originally planned without sacrificing the frame rate, and I wasn't about to move everything at that stage. I ended up going for kind of a huge motte and bailey with it crowded in the main town area on the hill and surrounded by the older houses and countryside. I added another wall around all that which is probably a bit ridiculous because it's so big but I just wanted too haha.
@@davide4313 All good man no offense taken at all you are right for sure. Sorry if I sounded defensive was just trying to expain my thought process. Im hoping they add enough in future updates to make it worth building a new village. I do wanna try and make a more historically accurate one. I saw something about them possibly adding a whole new map I hope thats true!
My build limit is set to the default 70 buildings. I saw the message warning about upping it possibly causing problems in the late game stages so I stuck with default the whole time. Unfortunately, once the decorating gets to a certain point problems arise anyways. Especially when it's raining or snowing, but I do have like countless items in play here. I had it where dropped items would rot the whole time until the end when I wanted to use perishables to decorate. That seemed to be when the issues started once I had so many items permanently dropped. Hope that helps, good luck!
@@jameswhite6102 Probably all the custom shed type things I built with fences and planks lol. I really spread my buildings out in the outer village, I would of loved to have been able to build more. I had to make a list and cut out a bunch of plans like a 2nd fishing hut for instance. I've just added the list to the description for those curious.
@@Lilicious55 No problem you too! If you are looking for a good spot in the Oxbow I uploaded a few screenshots showing where I am building my next village on that map over in my Community tab.
@RoboCharged I've already built on the oxbow map. It's near an Waterfall where there is a cave next to it. Somewhere between piastovia and that village with the docks
It's definitely not for everyone. I personally fell in love with it right away, but then really kind of hated it out of frustration at times as well later on lol. I definitely always wished for a much for flushed out building system and the ability to fend off raids and build big stone castles, craft armor etc. It's more of a relaxing kind of game I guess and honestly not my usual type game but something about it was immediately charming to me.
That's a good question! I Tried to think of a name a few times and failed to come up with anything I liked yet. I wanted to name it after Racimir somehow but it's a hard name to work into anything lol. Oh man I love Kingdom Come Deliverance! I'd never put that game down if we could build in it!
Its a lot of work. Appreciate the dedication, but aren't you a little bit sad, that the NPCs are so immersion breaking that your town appears just like a facade? If i would see an NPC not using the road and just step right through the field in the direct line to the field i would be so pissed if i would have spent 200 hours on building a town.
Yeah it would definitely be nice if they used the roads, but other than that they actually are pretty solid AI wise I found for the most part. It certainly didn't stop me from enjoying the game. But I'm used to trying to build Medieval towns in Minecraft and the villagers in that are horrible in comparison so this was like a huge upgrade for me haha!
I know what your saying. I kind of like the outer part being spacious, while the main town part on the hill surrounded by the palisade is jam packed. But not quite that spacious lol. I would of liked to do much more as was the plan. But I couldn't up the build limit or even decorate any more as I explained in the intro. Had I been on PC I could of continued to fill it out much more, but I hit the limit on Xbox of what I could do and had to stop before I'd planned to unfortunately.
Excellent tour of a beautiful medieval village with some great accompanying music. Well done.
Thank you kindly! I'm glad you liked it!

But the planks arent long enough for that in the middle anyways. Needs to be a small plank type width stream.
Are you on PC? Let me know if you try it how it goes! If on console my last twitter post shows me doing it as a test recently link in my bio RoboCharged on there too.
Wow, impressive!
Thanks!
Great job on your medieval metropolis! My style is similar, I don’t like straight rows of endless cottages on a grid like a New York facsimile.
Thank you! Nice! Ya working with the landscape is the way to go and gives it a natural feel and look for sure imo.
Wow... in the first 2 minutes of the tour i got goosebumps. i really felt like iam there at the time.
Good luck and happy building!
wow thats really impressive.. what a dedication 🤩
most fav feature.. 11:28 min ..a lil feature, but i love it😍👌
(and uuuh one day i`ll have a pc that will be able to handle that much light aswell.. sadly my xbox is stubborn and not willing to 😂)
Thanks I'm glad you liked it! I put that lil feature in just to fill space near the end. It took me awhile to think of what I could put there that would look good and make sense in the middle of the street.
Well done!!
Amazing project, editing, video and music! Why yt doesn't like this?
I appreciate it! I'm a small channel just getting started. Every like and comment helps so thank you!
Where on the map did you build this. Can you do a short video showing us that please?? I love all your layout and details !!!
How are you able to but the fence over the river? I’ve tired and it won’t allow me …
Unfortunately they might have removed the ability to do that from the game since the Oxbow update. Ive heard mixed comments on the subject but cant test it personally yet since Oxbox isnt yet available outside of steam. And I purchased the game on xbox. I actually just happened to upload an alternative bridge build that doesn't rely on the use of fences however if you are looking for a way to build one.

Good work
Thank you so much 😀
How do I raise my building limit past 70 when I have no more chapter quest available⁉️ I’ve seen people with 160 buildings but I can’t have more than 70.
Very nice!
Thank you!
I'm sure some of the other MD youtubers took some of the idea from you. Except for Rose though. She's also natural at creativity.
Rose is amazing for sure I love her village and her channel! We actually used a few of each others ideas. I was really honored when she commented on some of my videos!
👏👏👏👏 Inspiration obtained!!👏👏👏👏 For the algorithm!!!! Very well done 👍
Thanks im glad this helped!
absolutly AWESOME!!! Great work!!!
how can i grab things to decorate? I play on xbox too
Thanks! On xbox once you drop an item out of your inventory you just hold the A button to grab it and then release when you have it where you want. The buttons to control items will be listed on the bottom right of your screen, such as the RT for rotating items.
Nice,Thank u Bro !!
can you tell about the music and where to listen it fully?
Hi yes gladly! I used 6 songs all by a wonderful musician named Alexander Nakarada. The songs I used in order are called: Tavern Loop One, Forest Walk, Woods Of Imagination, Medieval Chateau, Village Ambiance, and Magic Tavern. He has his own youtube channel with those and many others which I'll link below...

Does this game no allow you to build castles and all that good stuff?
There are fences and walls with gates but not actual castles unfortunately. I tried my best to kind of make a motte and bailey look here. Made a sort of fort on the hill with palisades. And upgraded the houses up there to stone. I was really hoping for that to though!
Hello and have a good day I wanted to ask if you would also make the score available as a download because it is just such a beautiful village Sry for my bad English I wrote it with a translator
Hi thanks for the interest and kind words! Unfortunately I made this on console not PC so there is no way of doing that I'm afraid.
@@RoboCharged Ok, thank you very much for your answer, it's really a pity that it doesn't work. I would have liked to have built your beautiful village a little bit because unfortunately I'm not that creative
nice sound edit
I don’t know if you are from USA Or UK but man… I saw like 20 videos about medieval dynasty building and don’t get me wrong, your village is lit but everyone have the same issues
1) medieval villages were built around a church and the center square with the town market where you had the oldest houses close to the artisans shops. this made up the center.
@@RoboCharged respect bro! I wasn’t trying to spread hate! Just an advice ❤️❤️ one love
Hi
Nice village, just wondered what is your building limit set to? I'm worried about frame rate issues.
It looks like you have way more than 70! Great designing I guess. Thanks for the feedback
Top man, I'll check it out
Very very nice
Wow 👌 👏 😍 👍 amazing
Thanks!
nice!

Ngl. That area looks cook to build on. Where is it? Oxbow map or valley?
This is the Valley map. The very beginning of this video shows the location on the map ua-cam.com/video/yHSv4v0D0kE/v-deo.html
@@RoboCharged ty brotha. Take care 💪
@@Lilicious55 Nice that's the spot I picked too haha!
imagine if dragonborn came to that village and "Fus Ro Dahh ... all of that 😂😂
nice
I'm glad I looked this up before playing, it looks very dissapointing!
Very nice and what do you call your town I can't wait to get a Xbox x so I can do it wish you could build like this in kingdom come deliverance
That's a good question! I Tried to think of a name a few times and failed to come up with anything I liked yet. I wanted to name it after Racimir somehow but it's a hard name to work into anything lol. Oh man I love Kingdom Come Deliverance! I'd never put that game down if we could build in it!

@@jamesogle1535 That's a good one! I wish they let us place the road signs with our own name on them like the other villages in the game have.
Wow
Thought this might be a game to get….but then I see it’s all in first person. Ugh!
I just chose to be in first person for this tour after my earlier one was in 3rd. You can choose either view.
So huge and so much empty space.
