I LOVE LOVE YOUR TEACHING BUT IM a bit confused on many row 12 you started with 5 single crochet and ended with 4 that means that on my row coming down I would have to start again with 5 and end with 4 CORRECT

I believe there are 11 Three double crochet groups between the corners. It is consistent with the stitch counts on the following rows.

If you use DK yarn, the square is about 20cm in diameter. You can always make a blanket using squares.

On row 13..I came out with 11 groups of 3 double crochet together instead of 10??? My square worked out.. Not sure why you kept saying do 10.
