By the way in case it hasnt been posted, the entire part that ur dealing with is called the Epson Ink System Assy if u need a replacement. Using non-manufacturers ink it can collect solids and need to be replaced. And there were zero videos i could find on how to do it. This one is about as close as ive seen. I do wish someone would do a bit more of more detailed video with good lighting and more details but i have to say thanks for the effort man.

I have a feeling that when you get updates, the Epson company sabotages the printer so it fails and you then have yo buy a new one. Some code or algorhythm that causes a malfunction. The model WF 7720 has been discontinued. I mean, really, what do you think?

Are you replacing an ink color and its jammed? or the whole ink carriage that moves back and forth? Be carful if its the whole ink carriage that is how mine broke by forcing it. Sorry I don't have a solution as mine broke while trying to get it unstuck. I've never had ink cartridge jam while changing inks but be careful too. The connection pins that read the chip are delicate.

I have successfully replaced the spring in the print head lock before you came out with this video, I ordered it from bch tecnologies for about 10 bucks :) Is it at all possible to share how the new part you installed should fit when it is alligned right? Mine is off and I dont have a good comparison to show the right way for it to sit inside of the printer
Guess what sir? You gonna have to get a headphone mike with the mike close to your mouth and re-do this whole video cause 3/4 of what you were saying could not be heard.

i changed.. my printer head i now have a 031004 code that won’t go away.. any suggestions? i made sure the chip contacts are clean.
