Neo Traditional never appealed to me until recently, and it's a style I'm thinking of putting on me.
I'm also not sure if this would fall under black and gray, but I'd love to see this type of video for horror style tattoos from people like Paul Booth, Steve Tefft, etc.
Josh Pillay I have a full leg sleeve of neo traditional black and grey work. I’ve seen some horror styles on Instagram mostly European artists and they work so so well.

i love these videos were artist talk about a particular kind of art style. one of the featured artist once said that he considers tattooing a fine art. these videos add credibility to what he said. these artist are exactly that... artists.

@@truebklue843 the studio he's in charges $250/hr. I think he's still there.
I just emailed him. 250 an hour really isn't bad for quality work like this. I'm really hoping he can get me in! I would absolutely love to have some of his art work on me. Amazing artist.
As much as I enjoy the "artists talk about..." Series of stuff I would love more of these deeper discussions into the art

I really like Neo Traditional Tattoos with the bolder colors and the fact that it carries on the tradition from the old school traditional style with adding something fresh and new to it.

Neotraditional is my fav style, wish I knew about the different styles when I was 18 and got my first ankle pieces but got half sleeve and back piece that I love

@Alyssa Chu i confused neo trad and new school but as he explains in the video they are both really similar. and no, it didn't change my mind. the differences he talks about between neo trad and new school made me even more confident in the choices i made :)
I’m more of an American traditional style for tattoos but I have a lot of respect for neo traditional and the tattoo artists that work effortlessly with this kind of style.

I've never been a big fan of traditional tattoos, but I can see why people would be. Now that I think about it actually all my tattoos are realistic. Also, I'm so glad he brought up the difference between new school & traditional, because I always wondered what the difference was between the 2 tbh👌

The thing about neo traditional is it's so broad. It can be a very traditional looking piece with colors that aren't a part of the American traditional pallette. Or it can be an American traditional image like an eagle with a snake done with a lot more detail. It's such a wide variety
