    What of you only use mono amps for both mids and the drivers/tweeters, still need to use the routing feature?

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  3 роки тому +1

      You do not need to use the routing feature with mono amplifiers unless you are adding 2 equalizers or trying to do stereo sound.

    • @12voltfever

      With just this unit, it is not possible for high level input. However, with an LOC (line out converter( that provides an RCA output, you can certainly use this DSP with your factory radio.

    I understand the concept but I’m having trouble finalizing my build.
    I have the PRV DSP 2.8, a PRV SQ6000X Amplifier, a PRV SQ3500X Amplifier and a PRV Q1200 Amplifier. They’re all single channel…
    Which RCAs should I get? I plan on installing all four components onto a single amplifier rack.
    The plan is to use the 6000 to power 2 Subwoofers, the 3500 to power 6 mids and the 1200 to power 6 tweeters.

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  3 роки тому +2

      PRV recently released some high quality shielded RCA cables.. they're very nicely built. Check them out. You can really use 1 RCA per amp. With only 3 amps, you have enough outputs on the DSP to run 2 to each, but it's not necessary.

    Im working on a whole new system using an indash eq with the prv 2.8x dsp and a 5 channel amp (memphis Audio VIVseries Belle) but not using the 5th sub channel (cause i ended up getting a different sub then originally planned cause got a really good deal on sub and the amp). The front channels are running my tweeters the rear channels are the mids. And a mono amp (Memphis Audio VIVseries 2200) to power the VIVseries 14 inch sub. So going to the amps from the dsp channel 1 and 2 go to the front channels (1 and 2) on the amp then channels 3 and 4 go to the rear channels on the amp (3 and 4) then channels 5 and 6 go to the mono amp (5 and 6) is that correct?
