Correct, it is an attempt to say, well you kill animals too, so I can continue and not change my eating them. Its; easier to criticize vegans than to stop one's behavior of killing gentle animals. The human ego is involved. However, lets hope crop farmers do everything they can to grow organic, and, make changes to lessen any micethat ARE killed.

I RARELY get to talk about animal deaths with people when discussing veganism, and I never purposely bring it up when people are eating but it's like the idea of veganism is so threatening to their cognitive dissonance that if they don't start immediately making me out to be ridiculous they'll have to deal with what they're doing.

Every night is a debate even though we have plant based meals. We did that so they would shut up. But my wife and I are self employed in the hunting and sport fishing industry and they hate us for it.
Last year they asked us about living with ourselves knowing that knowing that everything we have has been paid for with the blood of innocent animals?
The next morning they had no cell phones, kayaks, computers, TVs in their rooms. We also cut them out of our will and explained to them that no self respecting vegan would accept assets from people in such an industry. That would be hypocritical of them.
They were the only two in their class who did not take driver's education. Because we refused to pay for them to take the course. We also told them that we will not have anything to do with helping them pay for college. And once they turn eighteen they have a choice they pay us six hundred dollars a month each for rent or move out.
They don't even have part time jobs when there are plenty available in our small community. They won't do those jobs because they are not vegan friendly. When I was sixteen I was working full time and going to school. I barely graduated but I did.
In short I think if vegans would just live the way they want to live and let others live the way they want to without any debates, or shoving their beliefs down non vegans throats both vegans and non vegans would get along.

I grew up on a farm, particularly one that produces corn (the dry kind) and soybeans. Yes there is some animal death, primarily insects and also habitat loss for wild animals (and an impact on those that consume the insects and so on down the food chain). A lot of that still happens with organic farming as well because organic pesticides are a big part of organic farming and they also kill insects. There's a very tiny amount of animal death from machinery but it's significantly less than the impact of pesticides/herbicides (and especially if you compare it to other similar things such as cars and the highway system, comparatively it really isn't a huge issue). That being said. That's actually less on vegans than the population as a whole, despite vegans technically eating slightly more plants. First of all (pretty much) everyone eats plants (unless they're on a carnivore diet I guess). Unless you want a ridiculous amount of nutrient deficiencies you need to eat plants. But primarily because the majority of the dry corn we grew? Yeah that's almost certainly going directly into feed for livestock. People really don't think about just how much crop production goes toward feeding lifestock, I don't know exact percentages but it's definitely significant.

You missed the most important argument against Piers Morgan which is that he generalizes the whole Almond industry to Californian methods, because he read an article. But the facts are that Yes California dominates the market, but that's the conventional market, not Organic, if you buy organic then that's dominated by Spain. And Californian farming methods of "bees in trucks" can't be translated to EU methods 1 to 1.
Furthermore as a person who live in EU, we get our nuts from EU's largest provider, which is "gojiking", which again is a front for evertrust. If you're buying almonds in the EU they're probably providing it, and over the last 14 years of veganism I have yet to see them sell almonds from California, so him sitting in UK and spouting all that nonsense because he read some random article and felt no more need to understand the validity of his argumentation, just shows us everything we need to know.
The same can be said about buying avocados in EU. We personally get those from places like "freshland", when they're in season, which again means no planes. They're shipped directly from the farmer to the buyer by trucks and by now I think we all know the article "You want to reduce the carbon footprint of your food? Focus on what you eat, not whether your food is local".
So all in all if that vegan had been better prepared she could have ridiculed Piers for his invalid argumentation.

I can remember there being huge issues as plant agriculture became industrial in order to keep up with animal feed needs.
The food supplies are a massive interlinked industrial complex and we are fed almost as a byproduct.
There were huge issues in the UK about industrial scale monocropping where hedgerows and copses (interesting that autocorrect doesn't even recognize that word) were torn out in order to make massive fields, followed by high pesticide, fertilizer, Canadian prairie style harvesters and bailers for the massive monocropping high profit style farming, which quickly eroded the soil and removed habitats threatening wild life populations used to nesting etc in hedgerows and moving into fields to feed...returning for safety and cover of the hedgerows. As you pointed out, a lot of small animal wild life has had to adapt to the changing environment and has learned how to evade the harvesters.
But the small field crop rotation, care of the soil, organic farming and more sustainable farming methods are much more suited to a planet on an ethical vegan diet, where you would expect ethics to expand into all food production, that not only protects the environment, but de-industriaizes the food systems and in turn provides a wider variety of healthier, pesticide free foods.

And farmers do not want to mow down animals. Tractors carrying plows move slowly. So do combines. They have loud engines. Animals can hear them coming and have time to move. The bees love the flowers on the flax, while the bunnies live in the bushes and valleys where the plows don’t go. Monsanto is the worst and spraying negatively affects the soil microbes, but other than that it’s really not all that morbid.

2:00 - Farmers can grow avocados without shipping bees. Vegans can grow their own avocados. I next to never eat avocados because I'm not a huge fan. She would have been better off saying I don't eat avocadoes, and carry on with her point, because he just wanted to make a misleading statement, and blow farming out of proportion to make it seem bad to eat avocadoes, like there is no other crops that farmers exploit bees to grow, vegans know farmers exploit bees, and vegans say grow plants that encourage wild insects to pollinate, so that bees don't need to be exploited. The reason bees are exploited is simply because farmers aren't vegan. So what do you expect, farmers will do nonvegan behaviour because they're not vegan. Only when the world is vegan will farmers grow in a way that doesn't exploit animals. If she said no I don't eat avocadoes it makes him look daft for assuming all vegans eat avocadoes and that the actions of some farmers, are the fault of vegans. It is not vegans fault they made unnecessary choices. Bees don't need to be exploited to farm, their is many wild insects and animals that pollinate, even the wind pollinates, there is drones that pollinate, and hand pollination. Bees don't need to be exploited.

I'm just now watching this. I'm vegan, I'll say that up front. But regarding the Joe Rogan argument about backyard chicken eggs, I don't see the issue with eating them. I eat them on occasion, we have four chickens. Those eggs will literally sit in the roost and rot because they're unfertilized. There's no suffering in taking the egg, and the chickens will literally just lay more the next day and keep going as a perfunctory thing. Factory farm eggs, that's a whole different story and I would never eat those. But the eggs from my own backyard, I don't see the moral or ethical issue with it.
Also, in general Joe Rogan is an ass.

Yeah, I was wondering about that because the ethics of eggs aren't the same as milk, especially if they aren't factory farmed, so that comparison seemed off.

13:00 - Animals are not here for us to use, the concept is so foreign to people that the idea of not using animal products confuses them... it's like but why not use their bodies or take their bodies excretions. The point is to not see animals as product dispensers and to see animals as living beings experience existence and realising that it's odd to just look at them as a way to get a product rather than seeing them as a being emotionally feeling existence. It's not about whether or not it affects animals, it's literally about respecting them as beings and so not looking for ways to use animals bodies for our own gain. It's about leaving animals bodies alone. Let them be. Stop looking for ways to use animals. Let animals be.

I think vegetarians should thank us vegans for taking all the flack that they used to get before the rise of veganism.
