The dnf timer for qualifying in the cube station app is 20 seconds. If you solved it in 11 seconds they have up to 31 seconds to finish, faster solve+20. Glad to see the mini FP video :-) already had the full size FP and UI but wanted the mini for OH alg training and practice.

Thanks for the review. I got mine too and love it. Only tiny issue I have is that it's not working with Cubeast yet. But I'm sure they will add the Mini UI as soon as they can get their hands on it.

The issue is not that cubeast needs to get its hands on the cube. Gan is restricting it and you cannot find the code for the Bluetooth in the app anymore.

You can read the MAC address with other apps like "Bluetooth scanner" and then add the cube manually in Cubeast. This workaround worked for me with the 12 UI and 12 UI FreePlay. I asked Tomek from Cubeast and he said he needs to get the Mini for himself to see if he can get it be supported. This all being said I have no clue about these things.

I heard that the gan app had lot of bugs and stuff. Also recently order an mgAI :) exited to get it!!!

Ahhh the mini UI. It’s already out of stock on Taobao aka the china amazon…. I guess I was just too late to buy it. But now I’m getting more used to using regular sized cubes for OH and I’m questioning if I really need the mini UI 😅
Edit: Oh… they are back in stock now… I guess I’m poorer now…

What did they change in comparison to the GAN iCarry? I mean I know that the iCarry is a bit bigger and runs on Battery but is there something else noteworthy to the new one?

The tracking system is much nicer and is also what is use in the "iCarry S"
The structure is very different. This and the 12ui is the exact same piece design as the regular cube and the iCarry is different to allow for a larger ball core.

yeah, took a bit of setting up for it to feel good but once I did that its really nice. I will say the app was a pain to log into and then it logged me out for no reason and I just haven't had the willpower to do battle with account bullshit. The app has a lot of room to improve, but its a good start.
If you want to just brute force drill the hell out of algs, this is an amazing tool. I was getting thousands of repetitions in because its so easy to just get in the zone without spending a ton of mental energy.
