The Gan 356M is the first gan cube I've bought personally I think it's pretty good, no adjustable magnets which I don't mind
i compared my gan 356 m to my friends gan 11 m and the only difference was that the gan 11m has lesser inertia while turning coz its so light

1:58 When u adjust the magnet strength on the pro, its actually the core magnets not the edge. How it works is when u push the lever, the magnet goes further in or further out. There is no way u can change the magnets from the corner to edge piece

The magnet adjustment on the 11 M Pro doesn’t adjust the magnets between the edges and corners, it actually adjusts the core magnets.
If you take a corner out and change the settings and look at it closely you can see the core magnet moving.
I think there's more for the chinese new year edition. If I remember correctly there are interesting stickers somewhere in the box. I might be wrong tho.

you can make a checkerboard on the minxes by rotating the set of edges 120 degrees about one corner. As far as I'm aware you have to solve it into the pattern though

Hey take another look at your 11 M Pro. I believe you said the adjusting lever doesn't change the core magnet but it actually does. when you move the lever the "core" magnet stick moves in and out.

I just got the limited 356 cube, but the red chinese stickers were just shoved In the white box, so when I took them out there damaged and I cant use them.
Not happy.

The magnet changing setting getting removed is better because the settings changes while you solve the cube. And I feel it getting unstable and too strong magnets.

The special edition gan 356 m is a gan 356x but without the changeable magnets
I think the first number means it is a 3x3 and the second two are the dimensions, or that it is 56 mm. The M means it has magnets.
for storage we have kb,mb,gb,tb,pb so for dodecahedran kilo,mega,giga,tera,peta minx for puzzele and byte for storage
Never touched a megaminx but apart from parities it does just look like you can treat every layer as an individual outer layer and just sole from the inside outward

So the reason it’s named Gan 356 M is it’s a gan cube and the numbers mean diffrent things the first number is the type of cube 3 would be 3x3 and so on the last numbers are the size of the cube in milimeters and the M means magnetic

There is actually a way to build a full checkerboard on the Terraminx. I don’t know why it works on that but not the megaminx though
