i followed another artist's instructions on Celtic knots but he never explained them as well as you do. YOU are definitely the best. Now I can try the more involved knots. Thank you.
You sparkley little diamond! You just gave me the missing piece I have been looking for! I have been looking to do some more complex designs but haven't been happy with my results. THIS was my problem. Now, if I can just figure out what the cat did with my eraser I could get back to drawing.
Another amazing tutorial! Before you began your explanation, I couldn't see how to break down this pattern. Again, you have created order out of chaos for me! Thanks for another great tutorial AND the helpful worksheet. I am enjoying this series SO much!
Thank you so much for these tutorials, Cari. I got a lot from the tutorials on your website and these add perfectly to them. I love analyses of artwork and scripts, so this video is perfect for me. I must admit to being one of those calligraphers who has often been tempted to use a ruler to ensure the lines in my borders are perfect (I even used a flexible curve in one piece for a lover's knot). In one of your previous videos, you recommended against doing that and I have found that creating knotwork freehand really adds something to the look of the pieces I produce; thank you for the tip!
I’m so glad! Ya, it’s not so much that a ruler is bad, as I see a lot of folks stress over the wiggles. And it really doesn’t take long to smooth out as you practice more. I used to teach a two day workshop for calligraphy groups and by the second day even the designs were already progressing!

Thank you Mindy! (Welcome to my rabbit hole obsession…)
You are an amazing teacher! I am excited about getting your book
Thank you! I hope you find them helpful. Hoping to get some new ones out in the new year for folks. :)

That’s great! It’s so easy to lose yourself in the old works. Deconstructing them is such a good exercise.

Thanks Cherie!! It feels great to know they have been of use. 😊💕
Awesome explanation! I better understand how to look at a manuscript and translate the pattern. Thank you!
Thanks Chris! Hope it helps give some ideas. :)
