Actually it's the noname key that offers the most bang for the buck if you consider what they're normally used for. I highly doubt you'd be able to apply enough force by hand to bend even the weakest of the keys. On the more expensive keys you're just paying extra for unused potential.

In my opinion, the German one was too hard. It shouldn't be hardened to the point of snapping that fast after first signs of wear (it did twist a little). While I understand that above 300kg's is a LOT of force, it becomes far less impressive if you use additional leverage. Which its long handle does in fact not only offer in 'standard', but makes easier to use through pipes and what not. Furthermore, it being so hard can actually damage the screws head easier. If both the key and screw head have more comparable hardness, the metal of the key won't bite into it that easily and won't scratch it out. It may be good if you are absolutely sure you only use screws with hard heads and always use only enough force to stay within an average amount of force with no additional leverage. But I don't think that anyone that does it for a living anywhere outside their own workshop can give such warranties.
