On the return leg, The Hornet could likely dock itself into a catch bag on the deployment vehicle also the cassette could be used as a catapult (save battery, increased speed of deployment on gaining altitude) by using disposable CO2 cartridges or a bottle rocket type propultion.. Looks like a fun and serious job on engineering. Kudos!
A nano cam, two brushless motors, carbon props and frame, molded shell, and fc, escs, RX, and VTX... all custom. Sounds like fun, I would enjoy building those... Need any builders? lol
larry ciummo yeah definitely going to have to be at least a 4s lipo and a nano fc, which I am sure they had all the components made special for this project. Pixhawk wouldn’t even be in the same category for a project like this. I have 60-80g micro fpv quads that I have built, but in the civilian market, I can’t find the really good components. Maybe TBS has secret builds? Lol Plus what I can build wouldn’t get much more than 5-10mins of flight time for my quad builds anyways, but with one main brushless and the small brushless on the back, I am sure you can get double the flight time, it’s just super interesting. Would love to get tech from “other” markets lol. Cheers! 🍻
@@FnDTX What did you use for a controller for these micros? I'm also thinking they might use something like a "super capacitor" for energy - maybe a weight savings of lipo. You think there are two motors in the helo and wires in the boom?
larry ciummo I use a FRSky Taranis X9D+. With crossfire and a crossfire nano rx. It’s possible a cap for the fc is in it? That’s usually for the video feed tho? I would have to think it’s a micro brushless for the rear prop. Plus it’s most likely a special military frequency for the Video and TX? No clue what it would be, but would have to be in the MHz range for the control? Possibly its setup with autopilot control which the flight plan is pre set prior to flights, but I would think control is needed in the field. So who knows? Lol
This tiny recon drone has impressive 2km range vs the one I got from local store and got merely 300ft range. I think this is an expensive high tech only for rich people or gov.
Synthesized 3D would require two units imaging from two different angles - not a feature as far as I know. Most of the earth is available as a 3D model in DTED databases already.
When will this get for sale on Banggood ?
We have now - how many need? You buy container full, give you good price these drone.

Amazing system. Well done.
i can send one joint to my pall that lives a few roads away without getting out of my house
We Norwegians refuse to change our accent when we speak English
I jizzed my pants when it took off from that vehicle
When did it will come to market.🤔

45 grams - not gonna be easy with a "store bought" battery and a Pixhawk.

@@lciummo1 also you can see the software used in the video feed. Similar to dji controls... I am sure it's all 100% custom..super nice though..
Can this little thing can stand up a strong wind? Or just mild wind?
15-20 knots

Yep only $195k each lol

Can they be programmed for flight to produce 3D imaging.

is this for sale? cause i cant find it anywhere
20 thousand usd
Military grade stuff is expensive ;)
It looks like a toy from"G.I. Joe" from the 1980s.
MAV not a UAV its a huge difference
Tailgaters beware. 🚗🚀 🚕
Glory to Ukraine and glory to 🇬🇧
When is the civilian one coming out at a civilized price??????!!!!!!
Just get a Mavic. You're not needing to carry a boatload of these drones for a 3 day mission are you?
