- I couldn't believe that jets from area 51 were doing maneuvers right over my head. The largest abandoned mine I've ever found in great condition. The mine is the Rachel Lincoln Tungsten Mine just over the mountain from area 51. I had to take a rough dirt road that brought me very high in elevation. One room had so many bats flying in circles I couldn't go in, but got good shots. Cody X Not necessarily, a double boom will really only happen if your jet is tilted and creates two different air gaps.
David Sul Your absolutely right on when to go. I actually do work at a gold mine about 150 miles north of area 51. I know the monsoon storms very well. I think it would actually make a good video to be up there during a monsoon storm. Then show how much water actually comes down in such a short time. Thank you David

My '67 Land Rover 109" Safari was one tough vehicle. One ton chassis, 12 leaf springs at every wheel.
Once I broke an axle, $29 for a new one, and didn't even need to remove the wheel to R & R.
The exhaust fan blades moving at 4:45 gave me the chills. I'm sure a vacuum effect is causing this, but damn for a split second I was very nervous for you. Great video.

from the leading or trailing edges of the wing or horizontal stabilizer. It is not an indicator
that it was flying at twice the speed of sound (767 mph at sea level).

Absolutely love your narration my friend. I'm an explorer by nature. If you ever come this way towards Cougar, Washington, check out the Ape Caves near Mount St. Helens. It's an ancient lava tube that's world famous and you can hike in there but bring a lantern and dress warm as it's very cold in there.

I had a college professor who worked for Shell Corporation. He use to travel the world taking core samples of specific sites that had potential of oil drilling. I gues they would take the core sample and examine it for a fossilized micro-organism. If the density of that mirco-organism reached a certain level, they knew they would find oil a few hundred feet below that spot.

Aircraft not from Area 51. They're from Nellis AFB training in ACM (Air Combat Maneuvering). That whole region is for the aircraft out of Nellis.
And the weird lights at night are their Weather balloons right

The big concrete piers are for the hoist which ran the cables going down the shaft. The cables were routed from the hoists over a sheave “pulley” mounted way up in the tipple “head frame” structure that was built over the elevator shaft. The cables routed over the sheaves are becketted/mounted to the tops of the elevator cages. Normally on a big setup the cables are routed so that as one elevator is coming up the shaft there would be a mate elevator going the opposite direction in the shaft.
