Most times that aren't rush hour, I zip across that bridge. I drive to UES for alumni basketball once a week around 6pm and it's 80% fine, no traffic. If commuting leave very early (before 6:30am). If driving home from work leave the office early (before 4:30pm). Obv not possible for everyone, but def best way to avoid traffic.

Very convenient location with top notch hi-rise buildings BUT the air quality is quite poor especially the closer u are to the bridge plaza. A lot of particulates in the air in that town that most people aren't aware of. Traffic close to the bridge plaza is TERRIBLE during rush hour AND many times on Saturday and Sunday afternoons & into the early evenings as well. Forget about getting to NYC in reasonable time via the GWB if there's a crash on the infamous Cross Bronx Expressway!!! I lived in Ft Lee for 8yrs after leaving Manhattan and it was a great move as I had a decent commute to work in NYC but have since moved to the South where the air is cleaner, there's more elbow room and a MUCH lower cost of living. Moving from NYC to Ft Lee and then South were all great moves for me and my family. Each move was an upgrade!!! ***All of you NYC inhabitants having careers in NYC can have convenience and decent living in Ft. Lee for sure but for me Ft Lee and NYC/NJ/NE in general were not the places I wanted to live in once I was in my early 50s and my kids had graduated H.S. Everything all depends on what you are looking for in life.

People want to be in a place that they are familiar with and be in a community where they can connect with each other. Originally fort lee has a Asian large population, that’s what attracts most Asians to move here. About 50% students in the town schools are Asian.
