They have a rear view backup camera in the rear view mirror. I had no idea till I looked up in the mirror. And I drove this exact van today and they drive amazing
Thecarkid 11 - It’s made cheaper.. the motor is gutless and it knocks and pings. Has the 8 speed trans that shakes and shifts hard.. My buddy who is a die hard GM guy took it for drive and was of the same opinion. To me the 04 felt more solid and could take a beating. I really liked the 04
FoxBodyBoys I drove one today with only 1,000 miles and was amazed at how well it drove. It had the v8. Shifted smooth and ran smooth so I’m thinking you drove a bad one
Ciarán Maguidhir - all the guys at my work got them as rentals until the new fleet vans were equipped. All of them brand new with no mileage. It wasn’t just me that thought that, be happy yours is driving good!

My first thought of it was that it drove so much better then the e350 and I feel the transits and sprinters are too expensive but I guess I’ll look around and be a bit more cautious with the gm vans. I have two of these vans for my business and they ride nice but the transmissions are shit. The doors and interior knobs for controls are junk. How can a company this day and age with the technology we have make such junk?
I am beyond disappointed in your comment the fact is their the same van gm made them both from 1995 and still in 2020 and next year and ongoing second they have the exact same engine and options literally they made the gmc and Chevy ones at the same time cuz their actually smart and though of uneducated people like u who are biased towards one manufacturer well in this case Chevy and gmc vans are both the same and equal for quality and drive quality
It’s absolutely bizarre to see a vehicle from 2020 to have such a hodgepodge of modern and outdated technology and style. Because the doorhandles and window switches are straight from 2004, the infotainment, gauge cluster and steering wheel are from 2012, yet the entire body looks like it’s from 2002. And they’re selling this thing for $30,000? And why would I want Sirius XM in a work van? I understand if you’re going on long road trips, but how many long road trips are you going to be taking in a work van? I understand if you bought the passenger van version you’d want XM radio, but why is it even an option on the work van? Absolutely bizarre. Very weird and very GM.
@@andybub45 to be honest the style is outdated but it is a work van at the end of the day. But they sell a lot so chevy doesn’t see a point in changing the style if they sell a lot still
I drive a ford transit, but as far as xm radio in a work van, it makes sense to me because I personally spend more time in a work van than my own personal cars so that would be the most useful place to have it in my eyes, as that’s pretty much the only time I listen to radio.

I drive the 2020 transporter at work. It is the 150hp single turbo and I hate it. It's the worst van I have ever driven. No power and awful automatic transmission.
Can you build a van and paint it so the paint doesn't peel within 5 years ? I'm disgusted with Chevrolet GMC. Every new van you see ,the paint is peeling. Dam Hyundai paint last longer than shitty GM. Will never buy a GM product again.
I love this van, the engine is amazing, great power and sounds good. I have no complaints.

The mirrors are hard to get used to and the transmission down shifts weirdly. The steering is vague. Got brand new one for less than $30k though.

Its a work van. The reason GM hasnt changed much is because they are very reliable.
