I have a 1990 Chevy Astro van. And I'd buy a brand new one just like it if I could. And was sad when they discontinued it and the Safari. I'm sure there was a lot of complaints. They had their enthusiasts and people that loved them. This is for those people. The "90's" we're great. Sometimes having to change is not so great after all. Somethings are better left alone. I applaud you.
I really miss my chevy astro all wheel drive van. When i removed the back seats for moving items it was like having a pick up truck. Good van for 8 and 6 cylinders.
Beautiful inside and out. Does not resemble Van's from past. The side windows used to be bigger and they didn't have the windows along the roof line. I don't care what anybody thinks. I'd buy this in a second if I could. Beats any SUV on the road for it's roominess inside. Plus awesome for traveling for 7 people feeling comfortable.
Everyone is basically saying the same thing. My heart leaped when I came across this. I had a 1992 one. We were the envy of the neighborhood. I drove it to work everyday. Kids love it. There was six of us. Lol I'm smiling.
The chassis for the Charger and Challenger is from an 80s E-Class Mercedes-Benz, that took design cues from 70s muscle cars, people will find a reason to complain about anything..
To those commenting on the outdated looks, it's a Chevy Express conversion van.......... 99% of these are used for businesses. They simply haul equipment or large numbers of people. GM has no real reason to update the platform. It's an A-to-B vehicle.
The dash might need a new upgrade but the van and chassis are awesome. So what if it hardly changes on the outside? This chassis is very stable when driving unlike those new front wheel drive vans from othwr companies. To me driving stability means safety and that matters alot specially with family aboard.
Have had 3. 1989, 2006, and currently a 2017 GMC, 9 Pass. Updated tech, old style. Still fantastic transportation. Nothing beats it for less than $150k, also have a new Mercedes, 2018 Infinity, and 2001 PT Cruiser. Prefer this for long trips, family outings. Comfort. ,
Wow they still make these, sweet. You really can't go wrong with these landyachtz. I guarantee you if Cadillac had the badge on this vehicle they would definitely be flying off the shelf. back in the old days the Ford Econoline conversion vans the GMC and Chevrolet travelers, were The navigators, escalades, and Yukon denalis of their time in the 80s and 90s. I'll take this over a youkon Denali any day.
I still like that design, and compared to the Vans they are coming out with right now, it looks ten times better than. This is a real full size van. And is very stylish. Show me a brand new full-size van that looks better than this right now?? I will wait...
Yea and this body came out in 1995, it featured the highmount taillights which were futuristic back then LOL. 25 years on the same body style. had a minor refresh on the front in 03.
I was thinking the same, at least the instrument cluster. It’s now 2 generations behind with the release of the new Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade line. I still absolutely want one though
What does something like this cost please comment back thank you very much this is absolutely gorgeous wish I had more information on it Thank you for this video
This van came out in the 90's when I was in highschool. You could take the taillight off a 1996 and bolt it right on this 2020. It's a shame the big three put so much into their pickups and Full size SUV's but the Van's get no attention I guess because nobody buys them anymore.
Hector Munoz I wasn’t suggesting the problem was unique to GM bud. But I still can’t think of any 2020 Ford vehicle using interior parts from 15 - 20 years ago like this van is.
Honestly it's not but so much they can do but add lane control assistants night vision windshield and a bathroom that goes straight to the street while driving!
I don't know, I would like to see the driver side and dash be updated to look like a cockpit in a modern airplane. For the price, everything should be digital, with heads up display, voice command on something in there and a lot more updating to that middle console.....
And all the men over 50 with excessive amounts of change in they pocket with a best friend named JB, are loosing they mind right now they calling they banks and finance companies right now to get one. lol.
I dont get it, this is fir someone that has 5 kids, when you get over 50, you ready for a two seater vette or camaro, but i guess when youre younger maybe you dont have the income or credit ???
Love the van, but for that amount of money if I was purchasing it for road trips, I’d probably buy a 2 year old Thor Axis mini motor home. The kids could use the bathroom without me having to stop all the time, that’s priceless.

ASTRO vans will run forever
...didnt know they still made these. Step dad had one in the 90s and early 2000s blue outside blue carpets inside. It was dope.

And that's exactly what they're for! And I'm sure the memories will remain fresh for time to come.
My dad had 1 in the 80's so to see them now like this....wow Amazing!!
It was a Chevy van but I called it a Shaggy van lol
Oh my i need this please bring back vans
The chassis for the Charger and Challenger is from an 80s E-Class Mercedes-Benz, that took design cues from 70s muscle cars, people will find a reason to complain about anything..
WOW, now this is what I call Riding with Luxury and style. Kind of resembles a big and spacious of a Personal private jet.
To those commenting on the outdated looks, it's a Chevy Express conversion van.......... 99% of these are used for businesses. They simply haul equipment or large numbers of people. GM has no real reason to update the platform. It's an A-to-B vehicle.

Ok family. Going to Florida. Wanna go? Hell yeah!!💕👍😊
Wowwww what a nice GMC traveller van my dream Van for my family Godbless from the philippines sir vhin 🇵🇭🇵🇭🙏🙏👍👍👍🙏🙂🙂
My godparents had this and I loved riding in it back in the 90s.
Brand new and the check engine light already on! Good job GM
That's a nice van 👍. In my opinion much better than a SUV for a large family
The Van still age gracefully.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful in and out ,up and down , left and right beautiful beautiful.
N 100% agreeance!!!💯👍👍
Lol my grandpa had one of these with a bed in back we use go fishing I'd buy one of these vans
I had this exact model....17 years ago.
lol right
Lmfaooo old lookin 2020
GM took Air Jordan’s rerelease to another level.
Have had 3. 1989, 2006, and currently a 2017 GMC, 9 Pass. Updated tech, old style. Still fantastic transportation. Nothing beats it for less than $150k, also have a new Mercedes, 2018 Infinity, and 2001 PT Cruiser. Prefer this for long trips, family outings. Comfort.

2000 called, it wants it's headlight back.
The interior though...
I wish these had the camper windows like the old ones.
WOW.. My Guys From DETROIT Were Rockin These In The Late 90s... Lml!!!
For the money it’s worth it compared to 100k on an escalade.
All day

“Hoovies Garage” explains it on why too.
2020 or 2000? 🤔
😭😭😭😭
Design and details are outdated
Nice in 2005
😂😂😂😂😬😬😬
Exactly my thought when I read the title.
We can’t wait to get ours!!!! Love it!
Best things don't need changes
looks like a 95 beater after going on pimp my ride
Lol that's exactly what i was thinking 😂😂😂 x like yo since your grandma gave you a beat up van the guys at the shop hooked u up 😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Naah !! GMC stopped production on these vans 15 years ago !! This is just a pimped out 2002 one ..
Hermosa camioneta la quiero
That van is awesome
I think so too
Definitely a goal to have one of these bad boys in the not so distant future!! All by myself too!
I love that GMC Van
Where's the shag carpet, and the sign on the outside that says, "If this van's a rockin, don't come knockin"
The instrumental cluster looks like its from mid 2000's
because it is lol, this is the same van FROM 2003
How smooth does this ride compared to a Suburban or Expedition?
THe only thing I don't like is working on the engine, changing spark plugs and such.... but that thing is a beauty...
WHAT HELL THE FRONT END HASNT CHANGED SENCE 2003 LMAO CRAZY
Shelby Lipp exactly
Nice inside but change the grill lol
Shelby Lipp Can’t wait for the 2020 Safari unveiling, lol!
Shelby Lipp looks like Denali
The DAMN thing never changes. At least the interior looks good.
Crazy how this thing hasn't evolved from 2010
Should’ve put a new Sierra front instead of the same old front end
I also agree with u on dat!
I love the retro look.. Awesome!
I still like that design, and compared to the Vans they are coming out with right now, it looks ten times better than. This is a real full size van. And is very stylish. Show me a brand new full-size van that looks better than this right now?? I will wait...
Wow this 2003 model looks awesome!
They are making a huge comeback.
I hope so i drove one last year they are so quiet and handle the road so well super fun to drive I would never buy an SUV a van is what I would have
YEA....!!!! WONDERFUL....
Pride of American Industry
Did they just update a 1995 model? Trying to save money or just being lazy?
Right could of switch the body sty6
03 is the last upgrade
No you just being ignorant
Both!
It's a nice design
Beautiful 🙋🏻♂️😷👍
This goes hard 🗣‼️
Tre Keys Shole do
Yea and this body came out in 1995, it featured the highmount taillights which were futuristic back then LOL. 25 years on the same body style. had a minor refresh on the front in 03.
M gusto muy bonita
GMC para viajar yo tengo una taho 2010
Pero sta camioneta si m gusto
I'm in there and enjoying my vacation
I wish I could afford this for me and my family. I guess it’s gonna have to wait. I would adore this
It’s a time travel machine, you get in you are back in the 90’s
Beautiful from outside. Nicer than the new Ford Transit Explorer but its interior begging for an 2020 update!
I was thinking the same, at least the instrument cluster. It’s now 2 generations behind with the release of the new Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade line. I still absolutely want one though
Ein schöner Van
Keine Frage
Good job GMC it looks like the same van from 83.
I’m pretty sure that’s a 2010 dealership probably just never sold it 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
No they still make them. People use them to travel for work, bussniss trips.
Based on what?
Jeremiah Jordan 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Yes That’s 2010
@Mr, Private I will be buying one for my travel especially my out of town business trips.
Everyone complaining about the van itself seem to all forget that it's a work vehicle, and a reliable one at that.
Que hermosa panel me encantaría comprarme una si pudiera 👍👍😁
I'd buy one so me and the crew can ride around and hot box it
Feel me in style pull up to the club let the smoke out 😂😂😂😂
By “Hot Box” do you mean do a burn out and let the rubber smoke come in? These vans weren’t made for that.
@@an2niotransitproductions813 nah he's talking about rolling a fatty wit da boiiiiiiisssss witvthe windows up 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I LOVE THIS I WANT ONE IN CHARLOTTE COLORS
Compared to the other vans out. I'm glad to see a big body. Even if they dressed up an earlier version
Very nice....but doesn't seem like much cargo space for a 'travel' van. Where does everybody put their bags?
Elvis would dig this ......also good for hauling girls from truck stop to truck stop.
Damn nice van , going to Vegas would be nice
Looks like something from the early 2000s
You mean the 90’s, I had a ‘98 Safari this doesn’t look much different!
This can be the new Mystery Machine cause it looks comfy inside, all it needs is the Mystery Machine colours on the body.
This looks like my neighbors same make and model except 20 yrs apart but can’t really tell the difference except that the 2020 has newer paint job
😂🤭
КРАСОТА
Deslumbrante lo maximo
Esta padrisima la camionetilla
Not sure if anyone else noticed it, but the radio says 2012.
ما شاء الله تبارك الرحمن
What does something like this cost please comment back thank you very much this is absolutely gorgeous wish I had more information on it Thank you for this video
About 69k.
The price is on the windshield, It was marked at $57225
Wow no changes at all. My 2015 is basically the same
Never change
This van came out in the 90's when I was in highschool. You could take the taillight off a 1996 and bolt it right on this 2020. It's a shame the big three put so much into their pickups and Full size SUV's but the Van's get no attention I guess because nobody buys them anymore.
I like this van
Beautiful and luxury in the interior but the outside is a bit of the 90’s looking
Uncle drew headed to the dealership right now...all cash.
My Dream .
I can still smell my granddaddy cigarette 🚬 smoke in here.🤣🤣🤣
Straight up GM parts bin. The newest thing on this van is the steering wheel from 2007. What a joke.
What about ford same shit all the time since they came out to market
Hector Munoz I wasn’t suggesting the problem was unique to GM bud. But I still can’t think of any 2020 Ford vehicle using interior parts from 15 - 20 years ago like this van is.

It looks like a"Pimp my ride" restoration than a real brand new 2020 GMC. 😥😥
ماشاءالله تبارك الرحمن شغل مرتب وحلووو
Мечтаю о такой...
Excellent van.👍🇺🇸
Check engine is classic!
Super nice! Love it
I don't know, I would like to see the driver side and dash be updated to look like a cockpit in a modern airplane. For the price, everything should be digital, with heads up display, voice command on something in there and a lot more updating to that middle console.....
Scooby doo called. They want the mystery machine back.😭
Good Goood Gooood
I prefer the overhead storage compartments over the windows.
And all the men over 50 with excessive amounts of change in they pocket with a best friend named JB, are loosing they mind right now they calling they banks and finance companies right now to get one. lol.
Antoinne Williams 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
hey i resent that statement....
*contacts bank so i can go buy one
I dont get it, this is fir someone that has 5 kids, when you get over 50, you ready for a two seater vette or camaro, but i guess when youre younger maybe you dont have the income or credit ???
I'm one of them
Love the van, but for that amount of money if I was purchasing it for road trips, I’d probably buy a 2 year old Thor Axis mini motor home. The kids could use the bathroom without me having to stop all the time, that’s priceless.
1:23 at least the dashboard got a small facelift while the rest of the body remains unchanged.
Nice But Need An Update On The Steering Wheel! Looks Similar To The Steering Wheels From 2007 To Date! Otherwise Nice!!!
That's because it's not a 2020, it's just a pimped version, its old.
