- Kathy Morris and her boyfriend, Carl Crites, came to Beaumont for the Tri-City Corvette Car Show. She woke up to find her Corvette had been stolen.
Horrible feeling to work hard for something for years. then a person with no self drive comes along and take it from you in a matter of minutes. 👎🏿
I hope they get caught. Get them off the street. I'm praying for the lady to get her car back..🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽♥️
The truck and trailer have since been recovered, but the Corvette hasn’t been found yet. Police had pulled over a man driving the truck and took him into custody. The trailer was abandoned at a Houston gas station by the thieves. The truck sustained damage to the driver's door and steering column key lock. Tomball police believe the driver was using the truck to steal recreational vehicles. My heart really hurts for Kathy and I hope & pray her Corvette can still be found.
Trackers needed on everything these days
I recently bought a C8 and first thing I did was put an Apple AirTag on mine.
Baby Girl Tracker Tracker Tracker people heartless nowadays. If your car gets more than 2 compliments a day Somebody plotting to JACK YOU. BE SAFE !!
they only took that ONE?! hmmm, that's odd. Wonder if it was an "arranged" thing, insurance will pay for it. 2011 vette aren't cheap. I feel for her tho, she worked hard on it. I do hope she finds out about it and recoups something.
Now she knows how SRT owners feel..
The Vette probably has On Star. If so, they can track her vehicle. Maybe! Not sure with a 2011. Sad story.
Take this as a notice that car show participants need to take armed shifts overnight patrolling the parking lot or at the very least hire a reputable security service to do the job with verifiable loss prevention insurance.
There are no words for this and what she has lost. The thieves should rot in hell.😊
Hope she gets her car back. Those thieves should be ashamed of themselves. Lots of bad karma on them.
Might as well not even call cops, waste of time. They’re just there to harass you. Put trackers on your vehicle, they’re cheap. Then you can find it yourself and correct the situation.
They will probably find the car eventually, but with all the custom trim items, wheels etc stripped, along with everything that can be removed easily like the hood, doors seats yada yada…I experienced a similar thing back in the 80’s it’s a terrible experience and insurance never really covers the loss. I hope she gets it back intact, but if they really are pros it’s unlikely.
Im sure quareese, quavon and trevonte will get caught
You forgot to add your mother 👩 … 😁….
@@mopar2513 omg i can’t stop laughing with your immature your mom joke😐. But then again, I’m sure you’re a 🐵 and you’re kind is not known for intelligence.
Now that’s sad, hope she gets it back soon
I hope some bystander finds them and makes them understand the severity of their crime.
Damn I’m mad for her !
Trailer wheel locks are a must. A remote battery disconnect on the tow vehicle can also help. Deterrence is the best form of prevention. Thieves will move on to the easier take, they won't chance having to manipulate multiple security measures.
Truly sucks but hopefully OnStar can track it for the police
Damn
I know the feeling had my 94 c4 convertible stolen in Knoxville during a corvette show!
Did you ever get it back?
Please post pictures so post it face book page
Corporal punishment
I wonder how they started the engine. They won't be able to hide it.
It was on the back of a trailer and the thieves stole the truck with her car in tow. At least thts how I understood it.....
