Nice video thank you...... The info about the way the groundsheet zips in off the ground was very interesting........ very tempting for the money!
I found that interesting also as you k ow water and bugs are not going to get into the bivvy one it's zipped in.. 👍 glad you liked the video Kevin and yhats for the feedback
The groundsheet is brilliant if it’s fully zipped up it has a 5” step across the doorway , which if your not used to it (like me🤣) you can trip over it and go superman style when exiting the bivvy to hit a run ( also like me 😂😂) Andy has it unzipped at the front in the video which is a good idea
Si Davies I’m a cripple so just put my carp mat over it to stop tripping up lol
ive got the Quest Defier MK2 and its got the aluminium block and material is 20,000 instead of 10,000 they look identical excellent bivvys for the money

I have the cyprinus K2 dpm brolly, with the zip in ground sheet Deffo recommend it, i love it!

@@CHUNKSTV K2 has the 20k material, front zips off and has a flat back so bedchair goes right back but the storm poles are screw in not magnetic. Typhoon looks a bit larger than the k2 if you want space. Very good quality for the money.

I recommend zipping in groundsheet before pegging it down though as it can be a bit awkward once up🎣

I have the k2 as well.more than enough room in that,for a brolly it’s massive.i bought the mesh front for £50 as well and got the brolly on cyprinus auction for £260 delivered.very good bit of kit for the price

Good review video , I’ve just bought the ripstop version , I’ve used it a couple of times and I’m very impressed with it , the Cyprinus website have auctions and I managed to get mine for £320 instead of the 429.99 rrp

Can you ask where he got it from for £330 as the dpm 10,000 waterproof one is £299 then it’s £35 for the vapour shield and then £89 for scull cap on cyprinus site. So £425. Ta
from what I'm told andy had one of the very first batches of the storms bivvy's so they have gone up in cost since then 👍
Does that artificial grass come with it? As I’m there website shows the same in the pictures?

It’s the typhoon storm which basically means it’s only 10,000 hh opposed to 20,000 on the typhoon

Hi Jon, whats the visibility like out the front of these? Would they fit someone over 6ft?
I would go with the max head room if your tall as i always felt like I was a little hunched over in my old trakker brolly

That said, I’ll have to eat my hat coz Ive just brought the dpm typhoon and can’t fault it.
The storm poles are utter shite, any tension and they slip. Apart from that it is a very good bivvy for the money.
