I bought the cyprinus tactical 1 man bivvy a couple of years ago maybe coming on 3 years, then the overwrap a few month after that I have never used yet. Brand new and it’s the best bargain I’ve had from fishing 👌🏼👍🏼 still use it to this day 🙂 and my cyprinus chair, oh my days that’s another story 👌🏼🙏🏼 💰They have to be very rare now because I’ve not seen any on eBay or even the cyprinus website. Took me months to find the cyprinus chair.
Bought the dpm version of this with a skull cap, looks nice when it’s up the poles twisting is a bit of a pain when putting it up and the grips on the top poles when extended slip a little under pressure. I have used it twice and since put it up for sale, not bad For the money but I wish i had just bought the real thing in the first place rather than the cheaper copy.
Could you do a video with the full setup including the extension and how to attach it properly and how to put the ground sheet properly cause I'm really struggling with this ? Thank you
I was going to be buying a typhoon MH ripstop, but not anymore after seeing this video. Looks like a right faff to put up and doesn't look very strong/durable at all.
@Aaron Davies Most tackle is made in China. Even the big companies like Trakker, Aqua ...... Purchase from Alibaba. Have fun with complaints and problems.
Great bivvy and good thick material, only fault is a design fault with the middle extention pole, tubing too thin and splits pole after only half a dozen uses.
I bought 1 over lock down and love it. My 3 front poles on the top are 2 screw locking. The one you set up is clamp locking. Can these be purchased separately as an upgrade. Looks much easier to set the poles that trying to tighten 2 screws
There seems to be multiple versions that look alike ones called the storm version which seems to have the screws and lower water rating but the screws are more durable trust me those clamping mechanisms break easily screws are more relyable so best is to get the storm version and then just an overwrap with the 20k hydro rating that should do the trick
Such a shame the material on the dpm and the normal, deteriorating from the inside can see patchy day light while sat inside. Bivvy not been used much either.
Most of Cyprinus' bivvys are very similar to models already on the market, but they're normally alot cheaper. I cant fault my Cyprinus Tardis bivvy and wrap.
i have got the k2 60 really impressed with that was thinking about the typhoon but this video has put me off big time. I didnt think the host knew what he was doing felt like it was the first time he had set it up

Sounds like you’ve got a serious case of “ Brand Loyalty”…. a common ailment amongst fashion carpers…..please tell us what the difference is between a Tempest and a Typhoon quality-wise .

I have the same issue, just been delivered today and noticed the silly screws rather then the clamp. How did you get on with it ?

as for pegging down corner nope open it same as the Trakker fan it out

Minus the locking device this is a tempest! I'm surprised they haven't a letter from Trakker.
They sell Trakker on their website so not sure if there’s any background partnership there.. 🤷🏼♂️

Typhoon comes with vape shield but not the storm thats an optional extra
