Hello Claire, you are so so funny, I love your humor! Really enjoyed this one, but then again, I always enjoy yours. I am the guy who lives his outdoor adventures through you since my untimely stroke. You are the very best!
Had to use that shelter for real in horrible weather when out walking with a friend and it was amazing. We were really cosy and it certainly boosted morale to know we were dry and warm.
For only wearing shorts Frank handled it like a champ . That was a fun episode, i really needed that today, thank you . And thanks for taking us with you on your journeys
Then in the local farmer's pub later that day... "So Dafydd you're saying you went to assist someone in an emergency shelter up in the hills, you'd heard shouting at somebody called Frank, but as you got nearer there was a girl with a camera and an inflatable man on a dog lead ???" "Landlord ! get Dafydd a drink...a STRONG one!"
These emergency bothy bags really are life savers, we use them frequently to keep the elements off people that have had accidents. Sometimes just a case of holding them over to keep the sun off, other times you find yourself in there with the casualty, dog and a couple of people trying to work around in a super small area. For the size and weight always worth having one in the bag

Claire, you motivated me to put together a little backpacking trip this last weekend (my first in my life), props to you, it wasn't easy.
