Can someone try to link me this product or one that would work? The link in the description gives me a variety of ab trainers and don’t know which one to buy
Unfortunately, the model/brand I have from Selenchen is no longer available. However, there are many similar such product found at Amazon: geni.us/dNFn5 [Amazon Affiliate Product Link]
They are all exactly the same. The actual functioning parts are the same in all of them and the programs are exactly the same with exactly the same outputs... Don't buy any bilateral bits though (ie the arm bands, or ass bands) you will literally never get them to balance once side with the other. Placement is so fine and delicate that you inevitably end up getting a really strong workout on one side but not the other. If you want to do anything more than abs then you need the tens style machines where the individual pads are on long wires and preferably someone else to help you get the placement of the pads absolutely right. The difference between 0.5mm this way or that is insane, I know you're thinking you will get it close enough but that tiny difference will translate to a totally different workout on both arms.

Hah, if only I had so many friends willing to take their shirts off for my channel! But sadly it's just me. Thanks though for thinking the change was so drastic as to be a different human being. I, for one, think the change wasn't that big of a deal, but some folks disagree. My weight doesn't yo-yo a lot, but since I've got a small frame, 10 lbs more or less really shows up on me and in unexpected places. Quantitatively, from before and after, it was probably a difference of only about 8 lbs. Although muscle weighs more than fat, so there's that to take into account. Nevertheless, I'm happy with my body shape and definition whether I'm fat, fit, or somewhere in between. The lesson here is to learn to love you for you, wherever you are in your fitness journey.
I guess I don't understand why a simple improvement in muscle tone is hard to believe... People change their bodies drastically all the time whether that's through surgery, diet, or new exercise regimens. There's entire TV shows dedicated to following people through their fitness journeys, not to mention countless UA-cam channels that show just that. I know some friends who regularly gain 60 lbs within a year only to work it off the next. I don't think it's healthy... but I can tell you that I've seen two bodies that look completely different tonally within months of each other but are, in fact, the same person. My before and after photos are hardly a stretch in that regard.
@Mariya Jafarli it's the same person...he has a scar/mark on the left side of his chest/ribs(his left side)...it's in the before and after pics...and you can tell its working for him cause the mark has moved & faded a bit, due to the toning and amount of fat loss/shrinking skin(elasticity). Example: if you see a bigger person with a tattoo on their side, and they lose weight, their tattoo ends up moving towards their backside, due to the skin shrinking.

a robot's gf it’s alright I can definitely feel my muscles hardening up but I can’t see any changes. But I think because I need to lose abit of weight first because this machine works better with flat stomach or a flat stomach with abit of fat. So gonna bulk up make muscles around my body. Then lose the weight so I get a flat stomach then I’ll use this properly. That way it’s 100% guarantee results for a 6 pack.

That might work, but maybe try not to use it too much. Maybe use it on days you feel you can't do your abs workout since it appears to still fatigue people
thank you for your video since the unit i purchased was not exactly the same as yours and did not include instructions for using the gel pads your video was very helpful
Actually this EMS really work. All you gotta do is change your eating style and also do a little bit pre workout. But if you wanna look buff and shredded then you must do a lot of workout. Don't depend on EMS only, change your eating and lifestyle
Ik that this video is old but can you do another review to see how it’s going now or if you’ve stopped then say what happened about 12 weeks in or longer?
Lol so many ads for this that are just wrong. People need to realize while this works it's not meant to be used by itself. It's meant to be a compliment to a normal training schedule, not for use by itself. While it does help, it won't do everything on its own. Good so see a video of someone trying it out legitly with actuall effects o stead of someone already having the muscles
@Gun_Samurai Every one of those guys look like they live at the gym. While I like to keep active in my daily life to stay fit, I haven't properly stepped foot in a gym since college and that was a loooong time ago. 👴
I accidentally ordered two of them they will be delivered today I used to have abs but I kind of have a dad but so today will be the first day I will start using it I also got the one with the bicep straps

Does anyone know if there's a way to replace the adhesive padding that allows the device to stick to you as it's working? The pads aren't sticky anymore.
Joshua Torres I used the ab trainer for about a week, I don’t have much belly fat. I saw no results at all. All it really does is sorta shock. But things work different for people. The sticky pads were out fast. I mean I would try it longer but anyways it’s really good for pain in your hurting areas.
The sticky pads are re-usable for several months. You don't have to remove them after each use. Just leave them attached tot he machine and store on the cardboard pad for next time. Once they stop being sticky they need to be replaced. There's a link in the description for where you can buy the replacement pads at Amazon.
It would be helpful if you put in the exact link to the product that you reviewed. It is impossible to find that stimulator at the link you have posted. I am pretty much going to close my eyes and throw a dart and I will order that one it hits because they all lookthe same except for the price. Hopefully I will hit one that works. You did a nice job with the video and then left everyone hanging
I did have a link to the exact product when the video was published. Then after a couple years the product was obsolete/no longer offered by the vendor, so I can only link to similar products that are currently out available. However, after having used several different brands and styles of EMS stimulators, I've found that they are pretty much identical in the way that they perform and function. It's simply a matter of price, features, and availability.
No, I don't think core training helps me in terms of endurance. The only thing that's helped me there is building up cardio strength with intense intervals like sprinting alternating with distance running (moderately paced, not going for speed/shortest time).
If you have worked abs after using this device and you don't have time, it's good, because for example you can do your hours of cardio and do this at night.
Thank you so much for posting such a awesome vid! I just got mine in today. I work out, but I still have a small layer of stubborn belly fat that won't go away. I've had the toned "dimples" for a good while but still no 6 pack. Even a mini 4 pack will be a blessing, lol. Anyways, your results look amazing! 😍
@@prabsharankaknia8479 Because all it does is shock your muscles. You have to do actual work to the muscle, not just contractions. Might as well do air bar curls
This things works but it's upset to you if you control your food what are you eating if you eat McDonald's and sweet of course it will not reduce your weight and rid of your belly. Go outside for walking and go to gym do some exercise and night time before sleeping like hour use this slimming abs for 10 minute or 20 minute surely you will get the results
So the answer is yes, it "works". There's no way it can contract your muscles that much, and not cause them to rebuild stronger. Every other review I've seen is people not giving a clear answer because they want to make a point that they're the ones that put in the hard work, and not the machine, etc etc. While that's mostly true, nothing can substitute crunches and ab exercises, they never just said the machine works lol
For the period of this video, I did not do any additional abdominal training, however, I did try and keep active in general (cardio, interval training, etc.). I did however, add some ab exercises after I completed this video to further increase my gains.
Thanks. I was wondering if it was worth buying. I exercises a lot actually, but my belly is still so fat. I think it because I do sports that focus on my legs instead of doing sit-ups and such.
What was the price that you pay for because i found onother website with the same one but its $90 and i dont know if you got it cheaper or the same price
When I got mine several years ago it was around $50 - $60, new. I know there are lots of models out there and I expect the price to have come down since then unless the newer models have better features like more modes, re-chargeable batteries, or smart features like Bluetooth pairing to a smartphone. Then I could see a justification for raising the price. For a basic model like mine I think you can find it for less.
@@k3v0n12 Selenchen. I'm not sure if this product is being sold anymore. I got mine at Amazon but the listing is no longer active. You might be able to find it on any site though, I haven't looked.
When I go to the Amazon link it shows a lot of them. What brand was yours? I like the idea of the bands that can wrap around it but a lot of the Amazon products don’t seem to have the belt/bands
No, it won't target fat cells directly. The devices seeks to contract and stimulate muscle tissue. When combined with diet and exercise you may be able to lose some fat if that is your goal.
no it will only tone/grow your ab muscles. If there is alot of fat covering the abs on top, you will still need to lose the fat through a caloric deficit via your nutrition. Exercise can help you to keep in the deficit as well.
Thank you for a honest review, I'd been doing college classes & working full time. I purchased it last week, got it today! I was curious how often do you change the gel packs, after each use or is there a number of times?
I had to replace mine after a couple months. As you use them they will become less sticky over time and the surface will become ragged. You can alleviate this as it wears down by rubbing a drop of water on the surface of each pad with your finger to re-hydrate the gel. But eventually it'll feel like it's making poor contact with your skin and then the pads need to be replaced. I get the generic ones on Amazon: geni.us/AmB38F [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] and they work just as well even though the shape is a little different.
According to independent research - EMS works best at night before bed and at least 2 hours after your last workout to help promote the release of growth hormone during sleep. You can relax your muscles with a hot shower first and maximize conductivity through your skin. As the stimulation can be quite intense, you will experience the least discomfort on an empty stomach either prior to eating or several hours after your last meal.
Hm, it looks like this one is no longer offered. You can check out the newer models here: geni.us/UdVe8DY [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] It looks like it works in the same way, but includes a remote control for adjusting intensity as an upgrade, which is probably why they stopped selling the old version.

Yeah, I have a question. I got my Ems Muscle Toner yesterday and want to start the program today. When the instructions say please clean the skin before using the pruduct is it saying clean your skin or the hydrogel?
What was your bmi before using it because im a lil chubby but losing a lil weight and trying to gain muscles is my goal so want to compare it to you pls
Not saying he is doing this, but some before and after pics or videos, they show the person when they are already in shape and then the person will gain the wait to do the before part.
So.... you're saying some fit people record themselves fit. Then *intentionally* get fat to reverse the before and after effect? But why? If you're already fit, then one would assume that you know how to get there... so if you're going to get fat, wouldn't you just get fit again right after? In which case you'd just record the fat/fit transition as it naturally occurred as before and after. Unless you're saying that the fit person gets fat, and then just stays fat. Like, knowingly does this. Just to make some kind of "reverse" effect video. I'm not saying that it might not happen ever, but I'm just not seeing the practical use of doing that.
@@ReviewedByPhil it's a way they do the before and after, pretty basic scam. When a product that doesn't work, it's a way to get people to buy the contraption before its discovered to be a scam. You get someone that is super fit, take the pic of them like that first, then they go and bulk up and then take that as the before pic and present the fat pic as the before and the fit pic as after. This is done by some unscuplus companies to rip the unsuspecting public off. They make something that cost them maybe a dollar to make and sell it for whatever amount they want, usually 19.99 and make a good chuck of change... its scam 101
Right, so that's what I'm saying. If they're going to get fat, then get fit again "with no problem" then wouldn't the fat photo then just be the "before" and the second time they are fit be the "after" photo? Then at least it's actaully chronological, even if they didn't use the product to get there. There'd be no reason to reverse the chronology. Fit to fat to fit - use steps 2 and 3 as the before and after, chronologically. I just don't get why you'd need to do it in reverse if you're going to get fit again anyway.
I’m thinking of buying my brother one of these as he can no longer work out or run due to disc degeneration disease… he eats super healthy and doesn’t drink, so he’s in good shape but he’s conscious about putting on any weight due to his increasing pain. Does anyone else in a similar situation use one of these and would you recommend? TIA xo
He was lean before, he just doesn't have any muscle. I've used ems before, in fact I'm using it right now as I write this. It works but you have to get a device powerful enough to squeeze your muscles and contract them on their own. If your device doesn't have the ability to basically contract your abs so hard, you nearly fall forward, then it's not powerful enough. My EMS device plugs into the wall and right now, as I use it to build back up my atrophied calf, it makes me do calf raises involuntarily. Also, please keep in mind that you can stimulate all the muscles you want but if bodyfat is covering them, you're not going to notice much in the way of results. I'm sure this device probably does something but if you're eating badly, you're not going to see anything.
If you don't need the ab trainer, I'd say look into using a TENS unit like this one: geni.us/et09xrU [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] As long as you turn the intensity way up it does the same type of stimulation and you can use the pads in pairs anywhere on your body, e.g. 2, 4, 6, or 8 pads at a time, across different muscle groups like legs, arms, back etc.

You're the best phil i looked at sooo many reviews on the rear window tent style sun blocker

I actually bought this same product.....I did a very little workout along with using the machine....IT WORKS PRETTY GOOD!!!.....I was happy with the results...thnx bro!!!!!
Austin: where did you buy it from ? I can’t find it. Can you give me link ?
I use mine 3 times a day 12 minutes each time yes they are uncomfortable they itch and sometimes it just hurts but it works like crazy if you do it right
do u lose weight? do u have before and after photos?
What is the right way to do it?
Thinking about combining this with my normal routine(mainly for abs).
Totally agree!
I'm kinda hesitant to start using it but remembering electrotherapy of my knee.. it didn't feel that bad.. thanks for the honest review.
Good so see a video of someone trying it out legitly with actuall effects o stead of someone already having the muscles
idk why no one is mentioning how he is pushing his stomach out on the before part
If he was BS'ing about his stomach the arms part we're definitely legit

Does anyone know if there's a way to replace the adhesive padding that allows the device to stick to you as it's working? The pads aren't sticky anymore.
Wow 6 weeks result! This is a good review! Thank you so much I’ll be sure to buy it!
Nelly Beltran does it work?
Joshua Torres I used the ab trainer for about a week, I don’t have much belly fat. I saw no results at all. All it really does is sorta shock. But things work different for people. The sticky pads were out fast. I mean I would try it longer but anyways it’s really good for pain in your hurting areas.

The sticky pads are re-usable for several months. You don't have to remove them after each use. Just leave them attached tot he machine and store on the cardboard pad for next time. Once they stop being sticky they need to be replaced. There's a link in the description for where you can buy the replacement pads at Amazon.
@@ReviewedByPhil thanx a lot👍😎
great review, I love how realistic you were being during the the whole process, great video👏🏽
nice video . Precise and clear . Is it helpfull in reducing belly fats ?????
No, the EMS device is used for toning and strengthening muscle, not burning calories or reducing fat.
@@ReviewedByPhil ... okay thnx 👍
This is a great video. Detailed and well explained
Hey Phil I was wondering. Did you find that after using the abs stimulator you had an increase in endurance if you ever wanted to go on a run?
No, I don't think core training helps me in terms of endurance. The only thing that's helped me there is building up cardio strength with intense intervals like sprinting alternating with distance running (moderately paced, not going for speed/shortest time).
Are the batteries easily obtainable. Some of them run on AAA batteries. I don’t see the coin battery much in stores.
Finally a review that actually convinced me into buying one 👏🏼😁

Thank you so much for posting such a awesome vid! I just got mine in today. I work out, but I still have a small layer of stubborn belly fat that won't go away. I've had the toned "dimples" for a good while but still no 6 pack. Even a mini 4 pack will be a blessing, lol. Anyways, your results look amazing! 😍
So did it worked?
@@Meme_MachineX It's not possible
@@anti1training why not?
Those are some good results!
U Wot??! Is thus worth it

What we do if we go to bath. We have to remove the belt or what ?
For $ 50-60 hell yeah. And currently there is a sale for $30 for the full set.
I would go on wish to get it cheaper
What was the price that you pay for because i found onother website with the same one but its $90 and i dont know if you got it cheaper or the same price
When I got mine several years ago it was around $50 - $60, new. I know there are lots of models out there and I expect the price to have come down since then unless the newer models have better features like more modes, re-chargeable batteries, or smart features like Bluetooth pairing to a smartphone. Then I could see a justification for raising the price. For a basic model like mine I think you can find it for less.

You're welcome. I hope you see some good results!
he couldve gotten more progress at the gym in 4 weeks then that 6 weeks. still amazing review
is it work as s fat remover?
No, it won't target fat cells directly. The devices seeks to contract and stimulate muscle tissue. When combined with diet and exercise you may be able to lose some fat if that is your goal.
no it will only tone/grow your ab muscles. If there is alot of fat covering the abs on top, you will still need to lose the fat through a caloric deficit via your nutrition. Exercise can help you to keep in the deficit as well.
Gee how many days did battery last, it better if the device can recharge.
Hi... This product is useful to tone the muscle..can u plz suggest me...
Update us!
Im curious to see the results after maybe 6 months of use along with light excersize (no gym, just calestenics and cardio)
When do we use this things.?
After Workout
during Workout
Before Workout
Free Days without Workout
on the empty Stomache
before/after Eating.
I cant find that exact green one your using
Hm, it looks like this one is no longer offered. You can check out the newer models here: geni.us/UdVe8DY [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] It looks like it works in the same way, but includes a remote control for adjusting intensity as an upgrade, which is probably why they stopped selling the old version.

Yeah good review buddy... 👍
@@therealfronzilla Ok. I see what you're saying. But then the model ends up fat. That kind of sucks for the model, right?
@@ReviewedByPhil No, because the person is usually athletic and dialed into fitness can get back into shape with no problem.

TIA xo
Awesome review! Thank you for sharing.
I'm sure this device probably does something but if you're eating badly, you're not going to see anything.
my calves are small. can this product work for me> and can i buy this separately from the ab trainer?
If you don't need the ab trainer, I'd say look into using a TENS unit like this one: geni.us/et09xrU [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] As long as you turn the intensity way up it does the same type of stimulation and you can use the pads in pairs anywhere on your body, e.g. 2, 4, 6, or 8 pads at a time, across different muscle groups like legs, arms, back etc.
