This medication has changed my life,I a. A diabetic have been on mounjaro for 17 months,I am at the highest dose 15,started weight 240lbs today I weigh .141.feel great A1C 4:9.all other blood work great.❤
Hi guys! My side effects could be 10 times more than they have been and I’d still take my Mounjaro! SO worth it after losing 77 lbs. My food noise disappeared almost immediately, but I’ve not had to struggle to eat… maybe because 30 weeks in I’m still on MJ 5.0. 🤷♀️ I mostly experience constipation, but that’s something I had before GLP-1 and is totally manageable. Oh, and my mom might not know I’m taking MJ, but my husband, my son, my triathlon coaches, and a few trusted coworkers know. I also wear a Road I.D. Bracelet that has a link to my medical history in case I’m ever in the ER and unable to respond. 💪🏻 😉 Great video!
Hey Mindy! Wow I didn't realize you have stayed on 5mg for your 77# loss! That's great! Good idea with the Road ID bracelet and sharing your info with a few trusted people.
Great segment. I’m in week 3 of taking Zep, and have experienced mild side effects: nausea, fatigue on days 1-2, post-injection. Last week was sick after a birthday dinner, but bounced back quickly. I’m expecting to go up at next round of Rx… curious to see how my body responds. Biggest advantages: no food noise and the remarkable lack of concern about losing weight - agree that this is an incredible feature of these meds. Nice work, you two - look forward to your vlogs!
The medication (Zepbound) definitely has changed my taste buds. I’m use to be a margarita drinker myself. I usually get the big fish bowl margarita they’re called here at some places every Friday at our favorite Mexican restaurant that has come to a halt. Now I drink lemon water. Occasionally, I’ll have a small skinny margarita. I’ll trade drinking for weight loss any day, down 40 pounds in almost six months. Haven’t felt this good in years. Pushing maximum density in my jeans was so uncomfortable.
@@tammyrunyon4457 I’m experiencing the same thing with coffee! Even though I haven’t been an everyday habitual coffee drinker in a long time, I would still enjoy a large latte every now and then. Now it’s like I can only drink maybe 1/4th before I lose interest and don’t want to finish it.
The side effects are manageable for me. I had some fatigue for the first few months, but it took a bit for me to realize it was from the shot. I initially thought it was from poor sleep. I take my shot usually on Thursday so the fatigue might hit on Sunday. Rarely, I took a nap. And I get constipated, which I watch carefully and treat with miralax, Mag07, fiber gummies, prunes and water. I have been doing this six months and have been losing less than a pound a week on average. Despite this, i am thrilled and will use this medication as long as I can. At the rate I am losing I figure I have at least another 6 months to go, maybe longer. I have been using both branded Zepbound and trizepatide. I would not let the potential side effects deter you from taking this medication. My doctor supports using GLPs, but is not a fan of the compounded meds. I find the compound meds to be easy to administer and I can control the dosing. I also think it is nearly painless and I prefer it to the pen. Will use what I can for as long as I can.
I am so glad I watched this video. I’m 40 weeks into Zepbound for 3 months and compound for the remainder. Down 55 pounds. Generally I say I’ve had mild side effects. I just increased to 12.5mg and I have those terrible burps and heartburn. Darn! I thought that wasn’t going to happen to me…OTC PPI helps. But…I totally forgot that for several months I was so exhausted all the time but now I’m not. 😅 I have been very dehydrated the entire time and do a lot better now with 60-80 ounces of electrolyte water daily. But I do take HBP medication with a diuretic. I have lost just about any cravings for coffee 😢, diet soda and alcohol. And I must take lots of fiber supplements every day. The over excessive fullness has diminished overtime, which isn’t a good thing. I recently lost my sister to cancer and I allowed myself comfort eating and sweets but oddly gained only a pound.
Zepbound almost 5 months. 7.5 mg zepbound. Weight loss 26 pounds. History severe constipation. On zepbound less severe. Nausea decreased but decrease oral intake food still strong 3 rounds 7.5 mg. Within 8 pounds of goal. Long trip to goal started 8/2021 gastric bypass. Leveled out after 2 years with no gain or loss with change in diet. Zepbound and stability of small stomach was key to my 40 years of over weight obesity. Just wish it was available sooner. But very happy now age 60
The reduction of “food noise” is a huge win for me. I would tolerate the stomach issues just to stay rid of food noise. Food noise has plagued me my whole life so to be free of it is a life altering. To say it changes how you think is not an exaggeration. Speaking of traveling…has anyone ever had issues at an airport with taking syringes in their carry-on (even with the prescription with it)? I would hope not but I wouldn’t want to find out the hard way.
Hi ! Love your channel ! I tirzepatide No side effect at all! 🙏! 💯% worth using it! I felt noise reduction and i feel A lot more Relax ! Less my anxiety ! I use magnesium gel cap before using it ! So i only experience wonderfull Feelengs ❤❤❤
@marimerf6685 yes same for me! No side effects whatsoever. I'm 6 weeks in on Zepbound and starting my 3rd week on 5mg. I feel great and the inflammation in my body has really decreased! This medication is truly amazing..
I still think a lot about food but it’s different in that now I think about making myself eat regularly. Unfortunately, nothing tastes really good anymore. My favorite pumpkin spice latte k cup coffee is almost undrinkable. Glad I don’t like Diet Coke anymore so that’s a good think. Glad I still like my Fairlife Core Protein drink because I’ve got cases of it.
Thanks for the great video. I have very few side effect as well. Constipation is the one I have had to actively managed. The magical trifecta seems to be for me metamucil (the sugar free drink), a stool softener and a magnesium supplement (250 mg magnesium glycinate). On occasion Mag O7. But this seems to work for me, and hopefully helpful for others. Tried the fiber gummies and they didn't work for me.
I have had to change the way I plan meals and reduce the sizes of meals. I’ve never been nauseous enough to take medication for it and never vomited but nausea is low level present sometimes. I try to plan very plain meals. A small amount of a starch, a green vegetable and a protein of some kind. I definitely am experiencing fatigue. I use Fiber We’ll gummies and they help.
Hello🎉 loving GLP1 People had a lot of the same comments about cheating and losing too much when I had gastric bypass surgery. I am not listening 😂 This 💯 worth it❤❤❤
Evening from a very autumny and mizzly London. I have become absorbed by your journey and the way you explain things to the layman. It has enabled me to go on my journey and has helped me to explain GLPs to some overweight friends three of whom have now started their own journey. Thankyou
Wegovy almost 2 years on it. Lost 70lbs, now in maintenance for the past 8 months. In the beginning I had some side effects, constipation, headaches, dehydration. But I could fix all those things by upping my water intake, adding electrolytes and working with a registered dietician to make sure I was getting enough food and the right balance for me.

I find if I just push thru the fatigue with a walk or head to gym I can work thru it , as far as constipation I have alway struggled with it but a year into this I think I am actually a bit more regular.
I’ve been using Zepbound since mid-June and recently went up to 7.5mg. I had no notable side effects on 2 and 5 milligrams, but on 7.5, I’m experiencing significant nausea and vomiting. For each of the last four weeks, nausea sets in 48-72 hours after the shot followed by a couple sessions of vomiting and sometimes diarrhea. This last week I thought I was in the clear, but 96 hours after the shot, nausea woke me up at 2am and then I had to RUN to the bathroom to 🤮. I don’t know if I should go back down to 5mg or keep pushing through on 7.5 and hope my body adjusts. Would love any tips or insights.
Your body is definitely trying to tell you something! I would suggest to ask your Dr., but it does sound like you might try going back down in dose to 5 or even like 6mg. If it's been 4 weeks on on 7.5 and your still throwing up, I would move back down.
I’m afraid I’ve joined the “stockpile”club, lol. I don’t trust that Mochi will be able to follow through on what they say about keeping tirzepatide available to us. I just started my journey in mid August so I need at least until June to reach goal.

I think about all the $ im saving not eating fastfood daily not drinking a bottle of wine a night not morning to bed daily. 🎉 Definitely worth the cost. Also a1c from diabetic levels to normal ❤ life saving medicine 💉
I’ve heard from numerous people say they wish they didn’t rush upping their doses. You will, overtime, build up a tolerance. And there’s only so many doses available to increase to. I’ve heard over and over not to increase your dose until you experience multiple weeks of weight stall. Even then, I’ve heard suggestions to change up your injection site to see if that kickstarts your downward trend before jumping up in dose.
Make sure to talk to your local physician. They can help you based on your specific health needs. And will have more information. In general we say move up slowly. And maintain a dose as long as you are losing weight, feeling satiety and your food noise is managed. Typically we will wait at least a few weeks when weightloss slows or stops as sometime your body just has a kind of it’s own. You might try adjusting your food, eating a healthy varied diet and making sure you are in a calorie deficit
My company will not allow extra shipments of trizepitide say int wasn't staple after 45 days. How are you getting stockpiled trizepitide or is it only zepbound?
You both seem to be very comfortably off. Unfortunately a lot of AMERICA is struggling in this economy and cannot afford this medication. It’s a shame !
CD: Yes we are lucky. One of the reasons we fight for affordable access is we know that it can change everything. Its very expensive both economical and physically to be poor. We must change!
