Loving these videos fella. Just recieved mine and can't wait to follow along. Thankyou
Awesome videos. And one thing for sure - you are a card. Thank you for sharing!
Love the sponge trick, new to me. You are always teaching me something new in the cooking world.
Love the magic sponge trick.👍
Love that southern hospitality your channel gives to this Minnesota yankee
Those burgers look delicious!! Hoop cheese just takes it up a notch. Loved this video Brother!! Hope you and your family had a blessed Thanksgiving. 😊
Happy 2022, John! Thanks for your very detailed demonstrations. I’m still on the fence about buying this newer version even though I like the bottom heating element. Your thick burger looked the best!🥰
Thanks mzbrazell...I like it but I never had I big problem with the other one...I do like grilling or griddling with the hood up though... happy 2022 to you too!
Many thanks John! I hope you and your family had a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks, John! I have been wondering if it is worth upgrading to the new one.
Great tips for freezing burgers. Thanks for sharing. I got a grill press by Curtis Stone. It's perfect size and cast iron for smash burgers.
yummy
God bless and have a great Thanksgiving with the family...oh and thanks for the video.
Thanks Celle and happy Thanksgiving to you and yours too!!
Hi John,
Will the sear n Sizzle that fits the NFG XL fit in this model? And as always, love your videos.
Merry Christmas
Great video jelly007 as usual
happy thanksgiving to you and your family from your friend from Montreal
Thanks Marc and happy Thanksgiving to you and yours too!!
I’m glad I have the 6-in-1. I have a grill grate I can reverse to a smooth surface like your griddle. I, too, would not like splatter all over the place.
Hi John, the reason they say to cook hamburger to 165 is at that temperature it kills e coli is my understanding.
Interesting. I use frozen Angus burners on my original griddle. I add the burger at the preheat cycle and by the time it says add food, it’s perfect. I do the same for hot dogs.
Jelly, appreciate the Thanksgiving treat! I had a thought, (yes it hurt ;P :) to keep your burgers from sticking to your freezer pan you could use non-stick spray and parchment, in particular, that non-stick grill spray from Pam or Weber, they sell it in the supermarket. Note, I don't own one of these, yet but I like your videos. Yes sir, those Martins Potato Rolls are my favorites too.
I tried a couple of things and just went with this method... but there may be some things that work...
I hope you do more videos about this grill. It looks awesome. :-) I also hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
Thanks and I hope you did too Sian!!!
@@JohnSanders thanks. I did. :-)
"It's a hamburger, it's not a patty" - yes!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Babydoll007!
Thank you and happy Thanksgiving to you too!!
Hello, John. Something's off. 330°F grill surface temp. At LOW setting it should be 400°F 🤔🤔
Happy Thanksgiving Jelly
Thanks... and you too Bobby!!
It would be wise for Ninja or someone else to create a whole unit splatter shield for this unit.
Doesn't this one have a temperature probe that you can use to make the whole process easier?
It does but not all the versions have them and I wanted to show for any version
How about using ground “bottom” round instead of ground chuck? I use ground “bottom” round (have bottom round “roast” fresh ground)…no fat. It’s the best.
I like about 20 percent fat but I'm sure that good..
Great video, which ninja grill is better in grilling the XL or the XL Pro?
I like the pro
@@JohnSanders thanks !
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too Ethan...
Thanks for showing how to skip preheat!
I use the styrofoam meat trays. They pop right off.
John every time you press down on that burger you loose mosture and juice and burgers are goin to splanter looks like the cover is the answer.
Happy Thanksgiving
💖👼🏻🌺
Happy Thanksgiving to you too Lisa!!!
Where did you buy that hamburger log from?
I get them at either Sam's club, Costco or ingles
That must be a New Style Ninja Grill?
It is...
@@JohnSanders another new Ninja Grill… I am out of storage places!
Please don’t pander to the government. People can eat their burger any damn way they please.
Hamburgers swell as they cook. The purpose of the Cuisinart press is to make a depression in the center of the raw patty. Now, the depression will swell from cooking and you will end up, in theory, with a flat burger. Happy Thanksgiving.
This one is a little more aggressive in the center and I think the theory is a hamburger bowl but you could be right... thanks for commenting and happy Thanksgiving
Used to make stuffed burgers like a juicy Lucy maybe!
