Even though I love pretty much every video you release I have to say this might be my favorite one of yours yet. Hell yeah!

Dude I get it. It’s like you take Charli XCX’s production choices and mixed it with Carly Rae Jepsen’s songwriting and vibe. If you like pop music, this should not be ignored.

Wow some of her late stuff has some great Nite Jewel vibes (I'm a huge fan), I'll definitely check it out. Oh and thanks for having a great music YT channel with 0.0% cynicism levels ❤‍🔥

I haven't used toilet paper since 2011. Coincidence? I think not!

Honestly was always on her side. Not sure if I'll ever be a fan, but I do think she has wonderful chops as a vocalist and I'm glad she has been doing a great job in evolving her style

Skipping the updated Friday is OK, but glossing on her collab with Dorian Electra is NOT.

Of all the video essayists who cover music on UA-cam and that I’m aware of you are by far the most open-minded.

Feels overly charitable. I'll give her respect for her personal resilience and for managing a career for as long as she has but at the end of the day she only got the opportunity to be in the Friday video on the basis of being a rich kid from LA. Really blurs the line as to how much credit she's actually earned when she's clearly been well taken care of from the start.

Oof... Sorry man, that's a bitter pill for me. You are on your own with this. But I can appreciate Rebecca Black's high standard of creativity, performance and production. It's just not for me. When I was 13, the music was somewhat eclectic with Anton Bruckner, The Carpenters, and Iron Maiden. 35 years since then, it's predominantly jazz fusion interspersed with avant garde classical, prog, math rock and metal. But, regarding female vocalists or bands with female vocals, I generally steer towards the likes of Esperanza Spalding, Rejectionary Art, Pili Coit, Rolo Tomassi, and A Formal Horse to name a few off the top of my head. As for pop, I don't mind Tori Amos, but that's as close as I get to pop.
