Everyone goes up and down with the ideea that Jake is underated...The fact is that if you listen to Jake both studio and live and compare it with Randy....there is a perfect reason for him to be underated. He was a good guitar player but nowhere close to Randy.

As great and lucrative as Ozzy's solo career was, he still will not be ranked as high as Black Sabbath by true metal heads who will always be considered the true OG's. Meanwhile Ozzy's drunk-ass treated his guitarist just a badly as he treated Sabbath.

Randy is top tier. Ahead of it's time, and great songwriting. Also was so young ,and also remained there young frozen in time.... Jake was awsome also, and Wylde is also excelent. Both are great, but Randy is the best for me.

Grunge and alternative rock is so boring and so is rap. There still was alot of good music in the 90's. AC and smooth jazz were quite popular and nice and well produced.

One great thing came out of Jake E Lee’s firing….BADLANDS!

I'm torn because my favorite 3 albums are Diary, Bark and Tears. The best writing was Randy,but,the best playing was Jake. Zak breathed new life and got his own flavor into Ozzy and I loved his style because I could play along with most. I had to play for over 20 yrs before I could play Randy and a few years later to play Jake. Now I've seen all 3 play live several times and Jake was the most precise and clean ALL THE FKN TIME. Randy and Zak have off nights and periods,but,I've seen Jake getting yanked by the hair like a demon by Ozzy and he didn't miss a bear. I e seen him do acoustic sets with the same perfection. Try learning some of Jakes double and triple picking off of Bark at the moon. But I can only dream of what Ozzy would've sounded like with George Lynch!

Wonderful video. In short, all of Ozzy's guitarists were brilliant. Randy is my favourite but Jake is up there too.

there is one common denominator with these guitarists ... Bob daisley- He made all of these people better . Have you heard rhoads before bob, he was good , but , blizard of Ozz changed him. Is it any wonder when Bob stopped writing for Ozzy ( because Sharon did not want to pay him) he had no comparitive hits .. Seems Sharon was not so smart after all
