- Just a walk around of my 06m6 Pontiac GTO. I bought this car relatively stock in April 2014 and its been a love hate relationship ever since. This car has been my absolute favorite so far and has taught me many lessons and gave me so many experiences. I've met a ton of great people after buying this car and joining in with the online communities associated with this car.
Amazing every time I see that car. A True masterpiece, no last generation GTO tops that one in my opinion.
Absolute love your GTO! I own two myself. Both heavily modified but yours really stands out with the hydraulic suspension system and the beautiful LSA charger!!

Jerry Jrs Garage because they came with the lsa trade I did after ditching the twins and brand really makes no difference in the performance of long tubes. Just paying for the name and finish. I had these ceramic coated black and unless I told you they were pacesetters you'd never know.
I can understand that go with what you got thats what I would do to. The materials used does make a difference though... ceramic coating helps with heat dissipation and stainless steel vs mild steel is also a big change. The experience I had with Pacesetter is that they never have once fit right for me. On the GTO the last thing I want is my steering knuckle bumping on the headers around a corner. Badass car looks like a ton of fun to drive!

Usually don't care to comment or fanboy about rims but these mrr vp5's look exceptionally good on GTO's

That driver seat leather always splits right there its so annoying my did the same thing by the way gotta say your Gto is probably the best looking gto on UA-cam that i have seen
Charles Box thanks man I appreciate the compliment, yeah they all split there and in the middle of the back seat at the top. Both of those places can be repaired fairly easily at an upholstery shop

I know you made someone very happy I have an 2004 I plan on building was thinking of an lq9 as well and throwing a lot of boost at it. Are you currently building anything else at the moment and what gears did you have on the GTO? Thanks for the response.
@@debojr78 I had stock gears, the cars are fun but the platform as a whole doesn't handle high power very well. If I was to build another one I'd stop around 500hp and just have a reliable car.
I got 3 kids now and the cars were getting too fast so I sold my fast stuff and started building other stuff. Right now I'm building a 2000 GMC truck with a 2019 escalade interior/dash swap along with installing a cummins engine.
My GTO was still reliable but I had to run tires with a fairly small contact patch so they wouldn't hook up too much from a dig.
@@john200871 I fully understand what you mean when kids changes things I owned 2 Suzuki hayabusa one with nitrous I would reach speed of 180+ easy but after a hefty ticket and police stoking everytime I went out and 2 kids later I put everything on pause 5 years later I'm tip toeing back in but I'm gonna leave the bikes alone though and stick with four wheels the GTO fell in my lap and you know like a kid I couldn't wait to start touching it wife giving me the the side eye but she won't stop this train I behind docked and been a good boy for a long time now daddy needs a little something 🤣 thanks for responding I hope all goes well with your truck build I have one as well Nissan titan I want around 500 -600 🐎 then I'll stop but thank bro you have an subscriber I'll be on the lookout for future content 🤜🤛

Hey man meanest looking gto I've ever seen! Keep coming back to this video as I wanna replicate the murdered out look. How were you able to make it look pretty aggressive? Stock can look pretty bad in my opinion. Also I'm looking for a GTO in Texas so let me know if you have any connections.
Man I don’t even know where to start lol. The hood is a VFN 4” cowl and the Goldilocks splitter on the front made the most difference

I would love to know the wheels specific specs set up. Love dem MRR vp5 wheels. Was thinking on putting, 19/255/35 front and 18/275/45 rear.

Jmelgar yeah it’s just an original Goldilocks splitter. I recently saw someone talking about making them again. The mobile attractions goldi 2.0 was junk in my opinion

personally i dont like the headlight downgrade or the tint over the rear reflectors. but its a dead set monster
Burning Oil Garage yeah I didn’t like the head lights either and had I kept the car I would have bit the bullet and bought some new oem lights. As far as the rears go I personally liked them
@@john200871 yeah overall looks great and taillights arent too bad i think its just over here in aus the cars must have rear reflectors and if they are covered you get like a $500 fine and a defect notice aswell as 24 hours too correct it.

There's not really a kit. I got a generic bag kit for the rear and 5th Gen camaro bagged struts for the front. I used the Accuair Elevel controller and solenoid pack. Accuair has gone out of business now, but I'm sure someone sells a good controller and valve pack.
I loved mine for show but I sold the car to a friend who actually drove around dallas a lot. We ended up pulling the air ride off for coilovers, he was much happier after going that route.

I personally chose the LSA over a Maggie due to cost first and foremost, the lsa can be kept cooler than a Maggie when using the zl1 lid and it can support around 800hp. My V that I have now has a full joker ported LSA with a 2.55/10” pulley setup and made 802 hp on e85.
If I was going to build another gto and had the budget for 600+ hp I’d say my must have mods would be: brembo 4 piston calipers, a full rebuild of the rear end using one of the GForce kits and a nice high end clutch.
If I wanted a fun reliable gto that I could take anywhere I wouldn’t boost it and I’d stay 500hp and below. I’ve built several bots for people local to me and my favorite so far has been a ls2 with full bolt ons and full ls3 top end that was NA.
I boosted my gto and was scared to stomp on it in fear of busting the rear end, in fact I actually snapped a rear stub the night before the buyer was coming to get it. Luckily I had a spare rear differential.
There’s not really any gain going to the 6 piston brembos over the 4 pot brembos simply because we can’t fit enough tire on the car to make use of the extra breaking power. The 4 pots will easily lock up the widest tire combos you can fit on the gto. My car came with a centerforce DFX clutch and I ran it for two years, when I swapped from the twin turbos to the LSA I switched to a mcleod rtx twin disk clutch and I wished I would have done it day one. The centerforce clutch sucked and was extremely heavy to depress and was basically an on off switch. The RXT felt better than stock and is a 1k hp rated clutch.

All that and the seats are splitting just like on my '05.. only not the driver's seat (yet) but the passenger's and the rear seat corners.. yet where you sit.. no problems at all. Wonder why.
Otherwise.. totally total mod. I could hardly recognize the beast and I own one.

Hi Im from UK. thats not a stock 6.0 is it.? Sounds an looks great. But what all GTOs should have is Like my Monaro VXR is the 2 dails on the top Dash. Gtos look so Bear with out them Nice air bags

Where did you get the taillights?
They are just night shaded with clear coat. If you put tape over the turn signal and reverse light, then shine a flashlight through the tape you will see the exact circles to cut in the tape to leave the lights masked off
where did you find that bag kit for that?

@Its Zookus I don't remember, but I think they were like 285s or 305s I ran several setups back when I had the car. Either way, this car couldn't hook up but I never tried to address it because I just let the lack of traction keep me from breaking stuff. The gto is a terrible platform for 500hp plus.

What kinda intake?! Looks like a true cold air intake unlike my K & N intake that sucks air from the hottest part of the engine bay 🤦🏾♂️🤣
It was a custom one I made, I think this one still pulled from the bay. I didn’t worry about it too much since I had the chiller. I ended up making another that pulled air from down behind the drivers side fog light.
whatd you have to do to get you're insight top work? And the double din? did u need a face plate and did you're wheel controls work with it?
rroadrider15 for the radio you just need the dash adapter and then they make a box that allows you to use the steering wheel controls

Not exactly. I own an HVAC company so I built my own chiller. I built a few for gtos

Christopher mix monitoring only, I’m pretty sure the tuning features are for diesels only with efi live or an edge programmer

rroadrider15 it was pretty much just plug and play, once plugged in I just selected GM and then it detected all available parameters.
what air suspension did you use ?
They dont have a kit. You just have to cobble the stuff together. I did it using accuair parts but they went out of business I believe

What do you mean? It never did. I have a video of me testing the anti lag at one time but that was back when it had twins.

Man why you want to make me relive this feeling? Probably 15-17k and that’s with me doing most of the work. Only thing I didn’t do was the fiberglass work in the trunk

Where did you relocate the battery ?
MrRyan6616 I had a false floor built in the trunk and bought a custom sized odyssey battery that fit under it in the factory spare tire location.
