Producers always have better interviews than other artists, when they start running down catalogs of the artist they've worked with its always a "damn i didnt know that"
Terry Lewis and Jimmy jam and polo da don, and Pharrell. Timbaland a goat but his time was just perfect timing. He had a great run, which is why collab with a lot of producers now and even in the JT era, you can hear a timbo beat a mile away, he cant be compared to Pharrell or even polo, or terry lewis and jimmy jam. Timbaland has his sound and thats that which I respect. But I prefer all genere producers.
DJ Quik is up there too. His catalog as a producer and MC is unmatched as well, Safe + Sound and Rhythmalism pushed where Hip Hop could go in that era. Quik and Rob Bacon were like Danny Lemelle and Rick James in that era.
@@randycalderon2148 Scott Storch aint seeing Pharrell alone sorry. Not to talk about even seeing the Neptunes. Scott is legendary no doubt. But! That's part of that humble in him. He gives other people the opportunity to shine, he doesn't mind sitting back and letting them get their say. Chooses his words carefully and doesn't say too much. I understand that mentality as a producer. "You're the star, you're the speaker, I'm just guiding the conversation". That's Pharrell.

People don't understand how Pharrell and the Neptunes and N.E.R.D basically shaped the entire sound of music from the 90s to 2010 and they still are doing it
2:20:00 Love what Pharrell had to say about his faults of being too zoomed in, too dialed in. And not zooming out to take a clearer look at the fuller perspective. Respect and I know it's something, including myself that many people can relate to.

Lmao thought I was the only one that peeped Pharrells awkwardness after that
😂😂 definitely caught that
Ayy NORE really geeked to be talking to Pharrell and Pharrell is honored to be there, love that mutual respect.
Pharrell is so refined. He is the epitome of understated elegance. 🥂
@Baby Lane Stanfield bro, you cant even form a coherent sentence. (and I see you googling coherent over there)
Not sure you should be talking.
Also, carbon dioxide is everywhere. We exhale it. Its not bad. Lack of oxygen is bad.

Maybe the best Drink champs interview so far. Gems dropped is an understatement, this man is the blueprint. if you want to know how to never age, this is how. Being humble and genuine, loyal and giving, artistic and unique.
Definitely one of the best. Pitbull interview was also a great one
Lil Wayne was the best imo
Pharrell is so intelligent and a very spiritual humanitarian, I've enjoyed his conversation.
This interview was so informative, I was engaged the entire time. I could listen to Pharell and his brilliant mind all the time. He is so beyond his years and he has a real purpose in this universe. They say God uses people to enlighten us and to Preach and Teach and he definitely understands the assignment!! He gets it and I LOVE HIM. One of the greatest interviews on Drink Champs. Thank you NORE & DJ EFN y'all did this. Pharell you are a different character and I love everything about you
Thanks for the love and support you showered on me, it's been a wonderful year having fans like solidly behind me, this is my way of saying thank you to the people who brought me this far. I hope you never stop listening to my music.. You are very beautiful and you seem to be a very nice person... Do you have a big heart?
Mr Humble, Pharrell Williams stated he thought he would be boring as a guest on Drink Champs??? Definitely not. This episode is one of the best due to Pharrell's impact on the music industry. Producers always have better interviews than other artists, when they start running down catalogs of the artist they've worked with its always a "damn i didnt know that"
First time hearing P talk, and the genuine and harmony energy around him, I can tell that he carries a amazing soul, the host was amazing as well💯🔥🛸
Him and Timberland are my favorite producers ever. Their sound and creativity is unmatched.💯💯🎤🎤🔥
I put Scott Storch in there too.
@@jewel77jewel14 Yup. Scott Storch, Battlecat, Dre, Havoc etc I can name so many. But Pharrell and Tim are just in they own league.💪🏿
@@BornToBeFamed I cant disagree with that.💯
DJ Quik is up there too.
His catalog as a producer and MC is unmatched as well, Safe + Sound and Rhythmalism pushed where Hip Hop could go in that era. Quik and Rob Bacon were like Danny Lemelle and Rick James in that era.
Shout to Pharrell for acknowledging “Miami Bass” that sound is the birth of southern hip hop.
Haha no Memphis is actually.. them boys hip hop scene goes back to the early 80s it never gets acknowledged by the world though
This interview was so dope. Pharrell is so humble.

Pharrell seems like he has a lot to say he just holds it back
That's part of that humble in him. He gives other people the opportunity to shine, he doesn't mind sitting back and letting them get their say. Chooses his words carefully and doesn't say too much. I understand that mentality as a producer. "You're the star, you're the speaker, I'm just guiding the conversation". That's Pharrell.
....Nah, just INTERRUPTED. DAMN NORE!

NORE just don't give him an opportunity
