True story how about how I found about I can feel it in the air song. Late night 2am I went to the gas station the clerk was playing it and it touch me and I was like who is that?! The guy said Bienie Siegal. I said what when this song came out? He said its old about 5 years. I was blown away. Lets just said I got the track and replay the crap out of that song. Because I was going through something similar
This interview gave me chills. The authenticity and matureness fam displayed was inspiring to say the least.
Shit also made me miss them old hip-hop days (even though I was only 12 living in Texas) I still miss how raw NY hip-hop was. Rap groups and the superteam known as Roc-A-Fella.. Ye; Freeway; Bleek still some of my favorites.

I’ve been binging out these Drink Champs interviews. I LOVED the Krayzie Bone one. I’m having a good time with this one too.
It’s really interesting seeing these guys who I viewed as titans when I was a kid. And now I get to see them as older married men who see the world in a completely different way than they used to. They talk about their marriages. They talk about their kids. It’s a total far cry from these legendary beefs and street stories they created 😂 it’s like relating to them for the first time all over again.

Loved every second of this interview and I dig where Beans is at today. He handled those Jay-Z questions with honesty, humility, and grace. Hopefully it resonates with Hov and he gets his old homey on the phone for some real talk and forward movement.

But fast forward, and he owns the fact that he was living too damn wild, and should have never felt entitled and expecting Hov to place such responsibility on his shoulders. Because yes, Hov doesn't become a billionaire today, by rolling the dice and running the risk of Beanie Sigel fucking up the whole operation yesterday.

Picture Shawn Carter having to explain that one to the judge. And what is he doin tellin you exactly what jay said he would. Beans now understands and looks back and realizes where he could have done better. And it’s good to hear beans speaking positively on HOV and what he did do for him. And he humble enough to admit now he understands Jay side. I think this interview might be a bridge to Beans and Jay coming back together and doin something for the culture. It don’t even have to be a record. Just to see them come back together would be great for the culture.

Word? I pray this is that bridge. It's been painful for us Philly cats cuz Beans is blood but we love Jay too. We just let family duke it out but Jay NEVER swung. He was the adult in the room.
