I guess India has disproportionate numbers of scammers because it has a lot of people who can speak English, and who have a high disparity between their education/capability level and their income. Basically if you have relatively smart people who can’t get adequate economic opportunities, there’s a higher chance they’ll consider crime as an option.

Thank you for what you do. As a technician I have at least 3 people a day come in to my shop for me to scan and check their systems after falling victim to these scammers. Recently I had a lady get scammed for $88,000.00. These scammers don't give a damn how they impact people's lives.

the FEDS should be doing public service announcements to inform people what to look for and to NEVER deal with these idiots, but they don't, so its a double scam, we pay the feds to watch our 6 but they don't, if they wanted to get rid of these creeps they could, easily.. so that should tell you how much your beloved government cares about the people..

The tax payer pays their salaries and is technically their boss but gets very little in return! Same thing with the War on Drugs. It keeps a very few people extremely rich, while millions suffer yet it continues. In a Democracy the people are supposed to have the power, not just a few super rich and powerful people. In our society we started to care about small special interest groups funded by billionaires and corporations more than the will of the majority of the people! So if alone special interest group wants something it will get done even if 90% of the country doesn’t want it!

Hi there. Just wanted to let you know that you (such as Scammer Payback) are making a great job. Couple of weeks ago I also had some kind of "Microsoft support" scam call. They made 3 attempts and when they figured out I was able to speak English properly they started to freak out. It's a shame to use and abuse elder's ppl innocence and manipulate them like how they do. To the other hand I didn't have any phone call from them anymore. When you're accepting make sure you notify TEAMVIEWER and mark their account as commercial. This force's them to pay for team viewer and only allows for a 10 second connection on thier end they're basically screwed UNTIL the payment for commercial is made. So FUNNY deeveeaar and Malcolm use it.. It's hilarious.

Hopefully the authorities in India will start doing more to eradicate this problem. It’s going to take them a long, long time...if they ever start doing anything seriously about it.
@@beatlemyn I have got scam calls and emails promising me jobs in reputed companies provided I deposit a certain refundable amount with them which they say will help them ascertain how many people seriously wants that job. How funny is that? The population here is huge and the police force is severely outnumbered and overwhelmed by so many things. Hopefully they will start giving such scams more importance.
