You need to execute a script that automatically creates large blank files until the hard drive is full, after you've already emptied the recycle bin. This will overwrite the sectors so that data recovery software can't recover the data ;)
That wont work. Data can still be recovered. Better to write large binary files of random 1's, 0's and randomly generated fake user lists. Bonus points if you can match the format of the lists they already had. At least make them work for it.
those were not just jokes, he was giving clear hints that you are being hacked and they still couldnt guess it, lol. no sympathies for those fraudsters lol

tbf, this guy calls them honey way before they call "her" honey. In this instance, I think the scammer was even quite uncomfortable with "Vivian's" jokes
Scammers don’t have gigabytes when they go up against you. They have gigga bye bye bytes. Love to see a hacker competition where contestants have to see who can delete the most information from random scammers in the shortest amount of time.
Kitboga is definitely better at impersonating an elderly lady (edna's the best!) .. but i love how this guy accesses the computers and deletes stuff. That's next level stuff xD
"wherefore" does not mean "where"; it means "why." Juliet asks "WHY are you Romeo?? Why do you have to be from the Montegue family, arch-enemies of mine, when I love you?"
Your ability to maintain the performance whilst working on their files is outstanding! This is probably a silly question but isn't it likely that they have all this deleted data backed up to a separate location? That you get the contact list and call victims is brilliant but I always wonder whether they can restore most of the data without too much trouble.
I'm guessing the probability of these guys backing up their computers is quite low. They probably share the customer lists but he'll be out of commission during his new install. I watched pierogi calling victims real-time from those lists so I'm guessing he will use them wisely.

You'd be surprised what they would try to walk a kid through just to go through with their scam successfully plus, kids are way smarter than people give them credit for and know how to work computers and all that better than most adults do these days so sadly I think they would try it on a kid as well but they'd just have to do a little thinkin on their toes to figure out how to get the kid into the bank account info of the parents like finding a bill around the house or something... You never know the lengths some people will go to just to hurt someone for their own benefit, it's disgusting!!!!
Nes Goldy I think there’s a some sort of thing where if they are trying to steal money you can “defend” yourself and it’s got a kindve loose definition of “defend”
Absolutely priceless. I understand the need to feed your family but ripping off vulnerable people is absolutely atrocious. If you manage to get the info, you should phone the scammer's parents and let them deal with it. Shame is usually worse than jail. Great job

A lot of the remote apps now put up scammer warnings.. the scammers way around this is to let you join their computer first (control theirs) and then swap control with the "Action" drop-down menu to them...
Okay after some reasearch i realised he is using a Remote access Trojan (RAT) .. A malware used to get remote access to the scammers computer without the scammer knowing because it is hidden... In order to do this he has to lure the scammer into accepting and opening a file with the malware program hidden under it. It would be nice if he showed that part in the video as well... He is not even mentioning it in the comments... All he is saying is that he gave his VM access to the scammer and not explaining how he got access to the scammers computer.

I wish I had the knowledge and skills to be able to do this to scammers. I recently stayed on the phone for 21 minutes telling a scammer about my "2018 Ford Fiesta" when they called me about an extended warranty. They asked about mileage and I talked to them about how I barely drive it unless it's trips to Walmart or the pet store. I did this is an old man voice. I wasted my time and theirs but it was okay because I was on a road trip with my family as my wife drove us. They recorded me doing this. I now get twice as many calls about my extended warranty but they specifically call to ask about my Ford Fiesta. Still cracks me up. I just wish I could punish them some.
To be frank these so called scammers are not hackers.. they just have basic computer knowledge and make use of simple desktop sharing application and create an opportunity by putting people into trouble. Hackers are smarter folks .. not these ppl who can't even fake an accent or don't even know geography :)
Beautiful work, mate! I had a scammer ring me last week and I kept her on the line for an hour. I would've liked to have string her along a bit longer but I don't have a virtual machine on this computer and it's running Ubuntu so I couldn't remember what views I should be seeing as she was talking me through the script. I'm a software developer and I've been thinking about ways to combat these assholes for a long time. I've been thinking about setting up a sandbox at home to test the remote viewer software and running scripts remotely. I'd like to learn how to get around them blocking the screen and so on before attempting it myself.
This is GREAT. Just one thing. If these scammers are in a "call center", they will have a server that has all the info you delete from the scammer's computer. As a result, they are able to reload everything you deleted in a short time. What needs to be done is access the server and erase THAT. Then you will have crippled the entire center.
He can’t do that from TeamViewer. He’d have to load a virus on the scammer’s computer and work from there, which is ilegal and would make him a criminal too.

I am a victim myself. About 6 years ago, I was having bad financial problems and needed help. This website got ahold of me, red flag #1. The gentleman asked what my situation was, I told him . This is where I should've hung up. When I said I needed help, he asked me how much my rent was. I stupidly went to CVS and put 400.00 on a gift card. When I realized what happened, I was almost suicidal because when I called back, he started laughing at me. I know I'll never get that money back, just wanted to tell my story, thank you for protecting us
No offense but how could you possibly fall for one of these rediculous scams, had you never heard of phone scams?
Vivian's laugh is funniest when the scammer realizes he lost the files. 🤣
I wish he would’ve offered his files back...for some target gift cards

Man, this guy is good. I think most of us would want to just cut to the chase and start deleting files as soon as possible if we had his skills, but he has the patience to waste their time for awhile first with some annoying, time-wasting, yet totally convincing old lady lines which he comes up with on the spot (what a great actor!), wearing them down gradually, raising their frustration, making them have a bad day, so that when he hits them with the _real_ good stuff that's many times worse, the file deletion, it just breaks them psychologically.
(Also, those little chuckles ;D Gold)
100% agree👌. When "Vivian" starts nonchalantly dropping subtle clues that 'they've been had', is when it really gets good. His delivery is gold, with the menacing laugh & taunting towards the end😂

I really like when he says "I love you" to them and they respond with "lov you too".
You need to execute a script that automatically creates large blank files until the hard drive is full, after you've already emptied the recycle bin. This will overwrite the sectors so that data recovery software can't recover the data ;)
Ohh nasty. I like it.
MAKE IT SO!!!
Brilliant, I'd like to see this happen.
That wont work. Data can still be recovered. Better to write large binary files of random 1's, 0's and randomly generated fake user lists. Bonus points if you can match the format of the lists they already had. At least make them work for it.

Your ability to maintain the performance whilst working on their files is outstanding!
This is probably a silly question but isn't it likely that they have all this deleted data backed up to a separate location? That you get the contact list and call victims is brilliant but I always wonder whether they can restore most of the data without too much trouble.
That was my question exactly. I would love to see him unleash a virus which would ruin their systems entirely.
I'm guessing the probability of these guys backing up their computers is quite low. They probably share the customer lists but he'll be out of commission during his new install. I watched pierogi calling victims real-time from those lists so I'm guessing he will use them wisely.

Edit: Oh, he didn't delete it. Awesome!
