@@karen_3, true, and most of the warnings on media do not explain how the scams work, they usually just mention about gift cards, but when victims get these calls, by the time the scam reaches the point of them having to get gift cards, the scammers have already done the damage of locking them out of their computers (by changing their passwords), or showing that they have taken most of their money (which they haven't really done, but make it look like they have, by editing the html), forcing them to go get gift cards to be given back control of their computers, or money "seemingly" taken from their accounts given back to them. 🙁

Part of what makes this so fucking awesome, is that you genuinely love doing this. You genuinely find it super funny. Which it obviously is hilarious. The best part for me is that you don't get pissed off when they're insulting you, no, that just makes it even funnier to you. You get off on them getting so mad which in turn just pisses them off more cause not only did they not scam you, you delete their files, syskey them, and then laugh your ass off at them and it's not the fake laugh when someone is trying to act tough pretending it doesn't bother them. Nah, for you it makes it even more satisfying. That to me is the best part. They can't even upset you with insults and that's all they've got left. Goddamn, that must be soooo deflating. It's like getting into an argument with someone over a subject you think you know more about then most and the person your arguing with has dedicated only a small amount of time to that same subject and getting completely out witted.
