    Nathan like your videos buddy! Hey I have a 98 BMW 528i. I tried to get it smogged but the car is not communicating the equipment what could be the problem? Also I have a misfire in cylinder 3. I have changed plugs and coil packs. Should I change the injectors?

    Nathan what do you think about cleaning electrodes on spark plugs with some sand paper and decreasing the gap to official 0.8mm? Plugs seemed pretty normal so I did not want to buy new ones before trying that. I did that on my car and i have no issues for about 20K now... am i going to have problems later?

    Not meant to be a wiseguy...but correct spark plugs for this engine is NGK BKR6EQUP.

    • @NathansBMWWorkshop
      @NathansBMWWorkshop  7 років тому +7

      These were bkr6e, no need to spend $9 per plug for these cars, these were $2 per plug and just as good for this engine

      The vehicle runs great but I am get 10 miles p/g with the AC on, could this be from bad plugs.

    You installed spark plugs into an aluminum head with no antiseize and no torque wrench. What the hell is wrong with you?

    • @joebolton6768
      @joebolton6768 4 роки тому
