@@mirandagibson2889 oh interesting. My friend has celiacs too but has said her doctor said it doesn’t work through topical application, only with ingestion.
@@mirandagibson2889 Celiac disease is an immune reaction to ingesting gluten that damages small intestine. Gluten needs to come in contact with digestive tract to trigger that reaction. An acquaintance of mine is in Monat and the other night, she was posting about ways to prevent hair breakage and other information about hair (mind you, she doesn't have a cosmetology background). I showed it to my mom, who has been a hair stylist for 25+ years, and she said that everything my friend was saying was basically a lie! I'm not surprised.
My sister in law just joined Monat. I told her to be careful of MLMS and that theres also only about a .1% chance she'd make actual money. I also told her to check out your channel for more detailed info....She decided to peddle Monet instead.
When you were on the phone with that guy, I was listening intently, and when I looked up I realized my hand was against the side of my head just like yours lmao
Beach body was the same way with not showing the brand. My friend kept posting this “superfood” coffee she drank, and so I reached out and asked her what she used and it took three msgs of conversation until she finally said what it was. So shady!!!
If one of these things targeted my mom while she was going through chemo, I would actually find their home and give them a piece of my mind, and maybe the palm of my hand, as well. Deplorable.
Edited for educational value: With my VERY small haircare line that my business makes and sells, we use red ginseng because we don’t want anything that strips the scalp of moisture, but we do like natural de-greasers, coupled with humectant moisturizers like honeyquat, to make sure that the moisture in our products penetrates the hair shaft and protects the hair shaft as well, rather than just dumping a shit ton of red clover into our products. Like...as a business owner I wouldn’t feel comfortable selling that to my customers, especially without notifying potential customers. I also don’t personally subscribe to the idea that “all natural” is best. No haircare product is all natural, and that is a GOOD thing. We in the haircare and skincare industry harness biology and chemistry to help our customers. Firstly, you won’t get any cleaning without sulfates or sulfides-none. That means if you’re telling me that you don’t use sulfides or sulfates, you’re also telling me there isn’t any fucking shampoo in y’all’s shampoo, mkay? Secondly, even conditioners and moisturizers ALWAYS start with a water or oil with wax pellets (usually something healthy like beeswax or moisturizing wax which is melted down and bonds with moisturizing agents like btms), a super fat like mango butter or cocoa butter, then, as I mentioned, some btms 25 or 50, then when we’ve got the hot process out of the way. Then, we add the active ingredients and stir them in with a stick blender. Preservatives are a must, though I personally go for preservatives that also help your hair, like red ginseng, marine extracts and Arctic plant extracts (I always make sure that there has been extensive in vivo and in vitro studies which show me that these ingredients are actually effective). Then, we add in some non-mlm essential oils (or at least I do-I’ll never order from an mlm and nor should any of you other business owners who are reading this who formulate products), then we bottle, label and ship. I would be cautious with the use of red clover, and would do a lot of research before even thinking about buying anything from Monat (which as an actual business owner, I would never recommend anyway). That doesn’t sound like a super safe product to me, and the sales tactics sound really dangerous too. If anyone has any questions about what to look out for or what goes into this process, ask. I’ll answer any questions I can about what to look for in products and why you shouldn’t work with mlms, though CC obviously does a better job explaining that than I could ever dream to. I also get a bit amped when I hear manipulative nonsense like try to get in good with people before telling folks that you are selling something, approach people who are struggling, or don’t say what company you are working with. My area of expertise (what I went to school for) is psychology-as you can probably tell, I run a wellness brand (not like goop or mlms, we actually embrace science) and those instructions are abusive and manipulative. I also have to add that I don’t go around cold calling or messaging people to get them to buy. If people want, they can go ahead on over to the websites where we sell our product. It speaks for itself. I would never cold message someone or put up goofy ass social media posts to get people to message me. I’m actually pretty damn busy and would prefer you didn’t message me. Buy my product or don’t is how I feel. There are lots of brands out there that offer a lot to customers, and it’s really up to them to do their research and make good choices that work for them. If someone doesn’t want to use my product, I have absolutely no problem with that. I want people to feel good and be healthy. I would hope all brands genuinely just want that for people in the end. Otherwise, what are you even doing?
@@IAMCCSuarez Thank you. I hope it helps anyone questioning the value of mlm products. I feel like even if the product were sterling, the company structure is the reason not to buy, but often times their products are not sterling. Their products are shit wrapped in shellac, wrapped in broken glass.
Someone on my Facebook is in Younique. Shortly after she started, she made a post that she was getting several orders and asked for people to message her if they had questions about "this opportunity". I'm thinking that was a lie and likely her upline or whoever told her to say that to appear as though she is somewhat successful and get people to notice. It's...just an outright lie. 🤮 I also creeped the seemingly "successful" hun that recruited her. She never says the name of the company outright on any of her posts. And they always call their Facebook groups "insert name here's beauty bash/nook/corner etc". That should be an immediate red flag that it's a pyramid scheme but they use that tactic to make it seem like it's "their own business". How they don't see all this lying as predatory is beyond me.
LOL watching this and as soon as you said 'wearing a pencil skirt' I said out loud, 'I miss that'. As much as I love working from home, I have a whole closet of cute office clothes I am dying to wear again.
I was told by my "upline" from the MLM that I was in to upsell the business at parties and tell people something I was able to achieve by being part of the business. What did I gain? Perks? Free trips to Atlantic City. Etc.
The part where you mentioned reaching out to people going through chemo or other medical issues.....I actually had to hit pause and take a moment to try and comprehend what I just heard. Whoever wrote this should be sued. Wow.
Hi! I’d love to see a video of your favorite sales/work/professional clothes as well as you maybe talking about your career. Or respond with a video if you already have it!! I’m new :) I think you are amazing and I love all of your videos!!! Please keep going!!
I have ALOT of pics of my favorite office outfits on my IG if you want to scroll back to last year when I was in the office. I've said a few times in a few videos that if we spread awareness more and more then law makers will actually take action. They have to WITHOUT A DOUBT be able to charge them with being a pyramid scheme. If they lose then they can't do it again, I think the FTC has learned their lesson after going after Amway and losing. ALSO HIIIII AND WELCOME!

🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
The BS counter had me screaming by the end of the video 😂😂
It broke by the end!
I was binging your videos when this popped up, really enjoying.
What your saying is intelligent, articulate, logical, and I very much value your information. Thanks for that.
LOL I got a MLM scam ad In This video!! It’s hysterical they would place that in this
Yayyy! You're teaching me a lot on how to present on UA-cam
If I got my new job, and the first thing they tell me after getting onboarded, contracts signed, everything like that, and the first thing they tell me is I can’t say the name of the company, you best believe I’m walking out IMMEDIATELY
Right - it's not the CIA. Then again who knows? Hmm.
Chelsea: I’m so excited for this
Me: ME TOO 🥺🙋🏻♀️
I’m 3 minutes in and the information you’re giving is really good so far. People need to see this
One of my dearest friends, who I met while we were both working in a hair salon, now sells monat. She told me about her excel spreadsheet that she’s created for all her leads. I thought she was insane, way too much time on your hands to be doing all that, and have two other jobs beside monat. After watching yet another dope ass Chelsea video, I see monat tells them to do this. At first I thought she was just being nice wanting to get breakfast then go thrifting.. now it makes sense. Tax write offs. Thank you for another exposed video, Chelsea. I really really appreciate all your hard work with this and being a real bad ass working a real job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 much love from San Diego
Thank you Bianca! They are working for free it’s insane
I'm loving the Jurassic Park island idea. I can really see the vision 😂
It’s going to be fabulous
I just found you through an anti mlm group on fb on Friday and I am OBSESSED! I love your style, your personality, and how well researched everything is! I've bee binge watching you all weekend, and I am so sorry you and your husband have covid and hope you guys make it through alright but seriously I freaking love you already!
Oooooo which one I want to join it!!
When did BuzzFeed get some credibility anyway?
They aren't credible either, in many opinions.
true!!!
HAHAHHHA HOME BASED BUZZ got me 😅
Omg editing because I just made it to the chemo part, how disgusting!
the worst right??
I’m glad your talking about this
I’m a bourbon girl too! And btw. Your content is awesome. I’ve been low key opposed to MLMs for a long time. Glad to see and view people who are able to put a voice to what I’ve been thinking! DONT DRINK THE KOOLAID people!
Awesome! Thank you!
That Got2B Glue spray is the truth.
Omg, i LOVE your BS counter! You should put this in every video lol 😆
Also... $ always goes before not after.. example : I just won $100 dollars off a scratch off not I just won 100$ on a scratch off 😂😂😂😂
100,000 market partners!? According to them, they all “own their own business.” Thats 100,000 people selling the same exact thing. And the market isn’t saturated??? Yeah okay 🙄 I mean, there are only 13,785 McDonald’s in the US as of December 2020 😂😂😂
Are you serious? That’s the number of McDs? I would have thought it was way more. There are a lot of other fast food places that are like McDs though.
This video has made me subscribe, I'm loving the whole myth busting with bourbon! Excellent viewing, highly enjoyed this!!!!!
its just soooo smooth
@@IAMCCSuarez 🤣🤣🤣 it definitely is
CC- i think the red clover extract contraindication when breastfeeding or pregnant refers to ingested supplements vs topically applied products.
I’ve been binge watching all days🤌🤌🤣 love your content
😽🤌🏻
I just got an AD about courses to mastering direct sales just before this video. Wrong market!
Do you always upload after 1am and I’m only JUST now noticing because I’m awake?😂
LOL no I usually upload at a normal time but I finished uploading and I got to excited to schedule this one.
I also told her to check out your channel for more detailed info....She decided to peddle Monet instead.
oh no yikes!
When you were on the phone with that guy, I was listening intently, and when I looked up I realized my hand was against the side of my head just like yours lmao
Yep about the low return rate because it’s a hassle! My hair was falling out and I never returned just trashed 300 worth of products-
The grammar on that onboarding sheet is horrendous! No real professional company would create such awfully written onboarding/training materials.
Just another red flag, although I believe she's mentioned in another vid that It's a S. American-owned company. So maybe a translation issue.
Why would anyone suggest a person undergoing chemo? Whoa....as if someone with cancer isn’t suffering enough. I’m so shocked actually.
Beach body was the same way with not showing the brand. My friend kept posting this “superfood” coffee she drank, and so I reached out and asked her what she used and it took three msgs of conversation until she finally said what it was. So shady!!!
why not just be honest??!
Because that’s the point, they want you to reach out so they can engage you in conversation. It’s just wrong
This was GOLD!!!!!!! What in the actual FUCK!
Yass!! Finally able to watch this!! UA-cam was being so dumb earlier by not loading for me.😩 Hope you are enjoying your weekend!🥰
You too!♥️
Your eye makeup is gorgeous!
I always get ads for random German mlms I've never heard of when I watch anti-mlm videos. It's actually a good way for detecting them.
Atrocious is an understatement! MLM make my blood boil 🥴
If one of these things targeted my mom while she was going through chemo, I would actually find their home and give them a piece of my mind, and maybe the palm of my hand, as well. Deplorable.
Yessss thank you for posting! I love all your videos and they make my days so much more fun.
I'm so glad!
Edited for educational value:
With my VERY small haircare line that my business makes and sells, we use red ginseng because we don’t want anything that strips the scalp of moisture, but we do like natural de-greasers, coupled with humectant moisturizers like honeyquat, to make sure that the moisture in our products penetrates the hair shaft and protects the hair shaft as well, rather than just dumping a shit ton of red clover into our products.
I’m pinning this comment🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I also creeped the seemingly "successful" hun that recruited her.
Ahhh yes, today’s my birthday and this video is just what I wanted
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAUTIFUL
@@IAMCCSuarez THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Was binge watching you last night and woke up to a new video! What great timing 👌 love you girl!
Yay!!!
Omg I was so anxious for you while you were on the phone 😳😓 you’re braver than I am, that’s for sure 😅
someones gotta do it!
Etc.
I looked away for a minute and the BS Counter went up to 20 lmaoo
CC it says 1,000,00,000 hahaha
😂😂
The part where you mentioned reaching out to people going through chemo or other medical issues.....I actually had to hit pause and take a moment to try and comprehend what I just heard.
Whoever wrote this should be sued. Wow.
Correct. BUT that’s a huge issue is that there he’s such separation between the MLM and the rep.
“and it’s superrrrrr legit” 🤣😂 Reading that part got me. It got me good.
Hi! I’d love to see a video of your favorite sales/work/professional clothes as well as you maybe talking about your career.
I also would love to hear you talking about what you think needs to happen (law and regulation wise) that would close down these pyramid schemes and just all the bullshit.
Or respond with a video if you already have it!! I’m new :)
I think you are amazing and I love all of your videos!!!
ALSO HIIIII AND WELCOME!
it works has a minimum 80BV (apprx $150 worth of products)to be commission qualified and $20 website fee - it sucks
Souped up golf carts modeled after the ones from Jurassic Park 😂
