    Saw some comments about baby sling and neck support aaand I decided to chime in...I was in africa and the women there place their babies on their backs in a sling and they have their little heads hanging out while they work their feilds in the blistering heat. I would say that their babies are much stronger than our babies that we coddle in the name of safety. I'm not against safety but the rest of the world isn't as blessed as we are so they don't really spend all that time looking at swings, slings, and carseats and yet they survive. You take good care of your family. They are alive, healthy and have parents that love and take care of them. What more do little ones need? Blessings to you mama. Your amount of work at home is impressive

    I get lots of inspiration from your videos preparing food. One thing though you kept referring to yourself as lazy when you were talking about your garlic. You are the most industrious and focused person ever in these videos with 7 children. I am astonished what you manage to get done in a day. I wouldn’t ever thing of you as lazy. Maybe tired. Thank you for your videos.

    • @primesspct2
      @primesspct2 Рік тому +1

      Absolutely! The trouble with that kind of thinking is if you are ever down with an illness, the guilt from not being your usual industrious self, can really make you sicker. ( the guilt over being sick for so long actually led to me thinking i wasn't of any use and i became suicidal) I was a very busy young woman, and this happened to me. Thankfully I am better and at age 60 back to canning nd freezing and gardening and all of that! I am in Ohio too! I love Ohio and by the time winter comes I am worn to a frazzle! lol! ( I had no idea other people braided their garlic!) You are not lazy! Your a very industrious human!

    When you are peeling a lot of garlic or onions you can save all the dry skins for the kids to make homemade paper. There are probably lots of UA-cam videos on how to. If you don’t have enough skins you can always mix with other things which was my favorite way. I would save waste paper and separate by different colors so that when I pulverized the paper in a blender of water I could throw in some more brightly colored paper to create a pastel then I would mix in the skins until they soaked up some of the water before putting in the mold. It would create a light rustic yet almost lacy look to the paper. It was great for them to write letters to grandparents on or use for gift wrapping to add a wonderful homemade look to the gift.

    I was so excited to see a new video! Excellent tips, thank you! I freeze everything in my ball jars as well. What I do is keep the box my ball jars came in and I keep the jar divider that came with it. Once I place the jars inside, it cushions the jars somewhat and keeps a them from touching. If it doesn’t have a divider, I just cut up a cereal box to fit between the jars. It’s a little tedious I know, but I’ve broken and lost too many jars and it’s contents. Have a blessed day!

      This is a difficult time. The fact that you recognize that you're struggling is a big step. Don't sweat the small stuff. Jessica's kids are well-behaved. They're also busy and engaged. Get your kids to help you fold laundry. It won't be perfect. That's okay. They'll be happy to help and they'll love hanging out with you. Make up silly songs to get them to do what you need. "It's clean up time. It's clean up time. Time to put the toys away. Everybody help." Let some stuff go. Nobody's going to see the dust bunnies. We're in a pandemic. Play with your kids. Read to them. Playing outside or dancing inside burns energy and makes for better, longer naps. Routine is really important. Do the same things in the same order at the same time every day as much as possible. Nobody needs a bath EVERY day. Scrambled eggs and toast is dinner. Ask for help or support. Light and love to you, momma. xoxo
