I hope there’s an actual reason for their financial struggles, because from what we learned in season 6, winning Regionals comes with a cash prize. So how could winning Internationals not come with an even bigger one?
Exactly! Plus it's not like they had to pay a lot for internationals, they didn't move, they didn't spend a lot on money on flight tickets.
I assume the costume budget was already decided before. Plus, except the swan dance with the wings, I don't see the costuming being that expensive...
RIGHT. Some of these plots make zero sense and they stress me out😂😂
That prediction/theory about Lucien is actually pretty good!
He could have a moment where he actually thinks about others for once. We know the routines he has choreographed in the past with Elite and how flashy they were and I think with Him owning it and Michelle & Eldon being apart of it as well would be a cool dynamic. It would be quite interesting to theorise what ideas all three of them have if Lucien was to buy the studio but let Michelle & Eldon have some space to do what they want to.
Plus Lucien is about being powerful and being on top of the world which might push him to come to some agreement (maybe 😂)
So sad how it’s the last ever season of the next step but it makes sense not to drag out the show
Yh im happy it didnt get cancelled and that theres gonna be an actual ending but its bittersweet as this is my last childhood show that was still making episodes but soon it’ll be over

It’s always fun to hear your theories and predictions and everyone else’s in the comments too. I’m actually predicting that the OG cast reunion will happen in the first half of the season but it would be interesting if it was saved for the later half.
20 episodes is not a lot for TNS so I hope this final season will be concise and not rushed. I hope they’ll be able to end it well even if it breaks our hearts😭 I think it will end on a good note but I’m also imaging if it ends on a heartbreaking note as in the studio closing or something even more dramatic but I don’t think it will lead to that. It will still be bittersweet either way but I hope S10 will be a good one. Also did Volume 2 of the S9 soundtrack ever come out? I feel like we’re still waiting for it😅
Yes still waiting for s9 volume 2 soundtrack. Like come on, surely s10 won't be out before the volume 2 soundtrack
I'm excited for the new season but I also never want it to come because then it is the end. But just because the episodes are finished that doesn't mean we have to let TNS die!!

I agree that the reunion should be at the end of the season, in the last 2 eps and Lucien comes in at the end of episode 19 then there’s a cliffhanger and then everything goes down in episode 20
I think their will probably be another Michele and Emily feud where Emily is like why would you buy the studio with eldon but not me
I feel like they've moved on from that now, and they said that they want to own it 'with Emily's blessing' so I'd presume she's perfectly happy with it

im wondering whether they need to do qualifiers considering they won internationals (we can recall that the geminis didn’t have to submit a video in S5 bc they are internationals winners), but it also makes sense to have that instead of regionals considering they are wrapping things up this season.
i like the thought of lucien’s redemption arc in the final season. i actually think it makes sense and is very plausible. but i do wanna know tho what happened to nick last season 😭 did he lose interest or passion running the studio? why did he sell it to michelle and eldon? i don’t really have access to the entirety of S9 so im not sure ehat happened.
nonetheless, you make a fair point how this season and this show might end. it may still be sad honestly that they’ll lose it to lucien, but i don’t know, it’s also kind of interesting. excited to see how the season will go!! looking forward to your reactions as well!!!

Looking back at the beginning, I’ve always found it weird no one knew who Michelle was and she was Miss national soloist before she got there. You think that’ll be something that they all know since dancing is what they all love

Basically there gonna make it to the final round and either they lose or tie and it goes to duet or SMTH and someone in the final round gets injured idk why I’m going into detail but basically they lose resulting in the close of the studio and the end of the show. WHAT ELSE MAKES SENSE LIKE SERIOUSLY ONLY POSSIBLILITY FOR FINACIAL issues being a thing in the series

idkw but I’d really love to see a recreation of a troupe’s finals routine, the one they did back in season 1, the iconic Micheldon duet. maybe it could be done in this season’s regionals or in the ogs reunion

I was thinking pascal could be on a troupe but realistically she is going to leave her family and her life behind for a troupe and if she’s under 18 then she most definitely can’t and a boy she’s known for two weeks so I do think she’ll stay for a bit then leave.
hear me out ... a next step prequal series which follows young miss Kate and her mom back when she was attending the next step! only down side it they will never will anything because miss kate once mentioned they never went beyond national semifinals.

I think Grace, Daisy and Jonah (the new character) are replacing Ethan, Ebby and Adele. Ethan and Pascale are both probably only in the beginning of the season before they go to France. Heath will probably end up with Daisy, but tbh I think I’d prefer him to end up with Grace
Pete Ebby and Adele are the characters that are leaving bc Ethan has been way to involved in season 10
I think Pete is at least in the first half of the season. I think he’s in more than just the few eps.

I think as well as Ebby and Adele, Pete will leave as well as Ben wasn’t seen in any photos before the trailer and Pete is not at the big gathering bye the looks of it

I’m guessing Jonah will be on A-troupe, and as long as none of the season 9 boys leave they will be an equal amount of boys and girls on the team 😊
