It's the 31g tank. I plan on running pump gas, I chose the e85 compatible injector because they are larger and will support the aftermarket camshaft I chose!
I didn't put together a formal list but I believe we tell all the part numbers and applications are in the video! Any other things you need to know I'll try my best to answer!
My fuel gauge dakota digital start at a point and slowly increase about 1/8 or so and every time you turn switch on and off you keep getting a different reading any ideas why....
I will do that I have the ground from box to bolt on the firewall. Ground from my sending unit 3 wire ground is to the frame. Gray fuel pump power is ran to relay up front . Purple for gauge is ran to the Dakota box fuel side twisted together with fuel- ground. Then I have that fuel- running to frame is that correct or where did you run the fuel- from the Dakota box to? Thanks
@bowtiebuilding No not yet can't find headers that fit I tried the shoenfeild 1303 but the passenger side hits the firewall and that's where I ran my fuel lines
Watching you work and just shoot the shit on the history of the parts/project is really enjoyable!
Thank you!
I had a ball helping out on the blazer project, but I expect a ride for some tacos soon.
You already know Brandon's is the first test drive!
We love watchin yalls stuff! Another great vid guys! Keep em comin!
Great content!!! 2 questions did you use the 31G or 25g fuel tank? And are you running pump gas with the E85 injectors?

Hi. What model is the Fuel tank? I would like yo buy one for my project. Thanks nice video
Thank you! I don't remember the part number but it is for a 1987 Chevy K5 Blazer with a 350Ci engine
What gauge wire for the neutral and power from the sending unit to the Dakota digital? Thanks
I used 18g because that's what I had laying around.
First off thank you for the video do you have a parts list please i could not see it or missed it

What's the part number for the sending unit and did you find out which wires went where off of the pump (purple grey)?
Can't remember the part number, just a sending unit for a '87 K5 Blazer. The purple wire is the fuel pump power

I'm not 100% sure but I would start by checking the ground as well as the connection going into the Dakota box

Will this tank and set up work on my 1973 c10 or is this just for K5 projects? Im doing an LS 6.0 swap.
I'm not sure, haven't tried it on a c10.
what fuel filler neck hose did you use I got the same set up but the fuel inlet on the tank is bigger than the original
We reused the original filler hose.
@Best Damn Shop Around thanks I tried the original one it's not even close to fitting
@@codyharris805 dang! Maybe they sent the wrong one?! I have had to cut the neck off the old tank and weld it to the new one (carefully of course)
What year is the fuel tank thks
It's from an 1987 k5
What sending unit did you get?
1987 k5 sending unit
Thank you.
@@TrinedyHuey 👍
did that tank have a fuel tray
Yes sir! That's why we went with the 1987 tank. They were factory baffled!
OK perfect thanks I just put a 408 stroker in my 73 k5 I just ordered the tank I just need to figure out the rest I should have close to 600 hp
@@codyharris805you get it running?
@bowtiebuilding No not yet can't find headers that fit I tried the shoenfeild 1303 but the passenger side hits the firewall and that's where I ran my fuel lines
@@codyharris805 maybe try factory exhaust manifolds?
What about a gen v l83 with blazer tank
