"First entry in my stupid journal. Today I had to run and get two imaginary friendship hats from an office. I could have just walked around the corner and then come back, but for some reason I actually went all the way back to where they were supposed to be. One was crumpled up a bit. That was Troy's. The other was a little dusty. That was Abed's. I fixed them up, even though I was the only one watching, because I settled on a truth today that's always going to be true. I would do anything for my friends, which I think is how everyone in the world feels, which finally makes me understand war." Maybe not a speech, but for me the most special lines that Jeff ever said
I think I would sneak in, "No, we are not tobacco. We are Robert Downey Jr. He was so high, he was crawling into people's windows. Now he's Iron Man. We self-destruct like this because we'd rather be heroes and villains than just kind of sucky people that need to work a lot at getting less sucky."
"It's that easy. You just stop thinking about what's good for you, and start thinking about what's good for someone else. And you can change the whole game with one move."
Because it isn't as bad as the parrots say it is. Other than Harmon, the behind the camera crew was nearly 100% intact, while adding Jim Rash (the Dean) to its writing ranks. Hell, even Harmon has done a near 180 on his original take, but the parrots just regurgitate his backtracked statements.
These speeches are proof that Stand up Comedians has one of the best stage presence and audience management in the entertainment industry. Heck, might even be tops most politicians in the world.
Got tested positive with covid today and I've been crying all day because of all the things I had planned and I'm going to miss. This made me smile. Thank you for blessing us with community clips!
I missed it in my first several viewings but I made my mom watch the show with me and I finally spotted SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE in the background of the last speech.
I love the Anthropology 101 speech and I feel it is the most applicable to real life because as a species we truly are dependent on each other for survival. Bonus reason: The professors reasoning that combining the tools together to make something more powerful is a good analogy that kinda proves Winger's point. That people are stronger together
Jeff’s Graduation Speech is still the best one of the whole series. It’s that deep, specially if you watched it from day one, like I have. 6 Seasons and a Movie!!!
I like that the speech towards Piercinald's father is included. Idk if it counts as an officially certified Winger speech but the fact he actually killed someone with his words says a lot
In season 2 then-VP Biden was supposed to visit Greendale. Last night's State of the Union has Biden give a shout-out to community colleges. Coincidence?
@@anthonym28 same, or at least it's the one I've seen the most. I had no idea there were an extended cut, what more doesn't appear in the short one? I have seen the entire show at least seven times and there are still new things I discover every time hahaha
What's your favorite Jeff speech? Comment below! 👇
Paradigms of Human Memory speech
The Harrison Ford Irradiation speech
The first one was special, it's the one that started it all....
ALL of them!
THE DANGERS OF INGESTING MERCURY
Without context of the show and the character, this makes Jeff seem like a very articulate and reasonable guy, lmao
That’s one of my favorite things about him. He can pull this persona out at any time
LOL true
Of the entire group he's actually one of the most reasonable. He's the straight man most of the time.
In the shows universe he is generally the most reasonable
@@KenLinx Abed is the most reasonable. But he sure ain't straight. Not gay either.
It's honestly pretty impressive that Jeff managed to Winger speech someone to death
In Dnd we call that vicious mockery lol
Jeff always has this special tone for when he does a speech that just adds to the whole experience.

really beatiful, espacially if you realise he had to do the voice over himself cause Tom Hanks wasn't available
@@irialefe13 Precisely, and he nailed that too
“My love for you is immeasurable, even when you split it seven ways” is one of the few quotes in this show that almost bring me to tears
Gayeeeeee
We know one of the greatest moments from a show is when someone says its title. And Winger drops it right on the first episode.
We some kinda community?
I think the seinfeld show overdoes it
@@pietrocasella2195 I literally laughed dout loud at this
Its Communin’ time
“I now pronounce you, a community”
“Rolls credit”

Underrated reference to Elroy
The winger dad speech has a special place in my heart

Jeff could easily form a cult.
Yep. No doubt there

it did kill pierce's dad

It’s So heartwarming every time I hear Jeffs speech, it is indeed the best show!!

The writing on this is just on another level
Executed to perfection
he gives a lot of speeches and they all have one thing in common, they’re all different. day 166 of asking for a community movie
Hopefully you have already seen the news, but the movie is on the way! Here’s hoping that Peacock lets them do this year is justice.
It's interesting to see that most of his best speeches were given during the gas leak year.
The gas leak year does have quite a high number of Winger speeches compared to the rest.
THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKINGGG
@@justinblair9661 still plenty of crappy writing in season 4
I went through without knowledge of the gas leak, and honestly I think it’s bétter than season 5 and 6. They’re all still very good.
"It's a locomotive that runs on us!" is pure gold
Jeff giving credit to his dad for all the """good""" he did, is justice all guys like us deserve.
I wish you slipped a clip of Jeff attacking the table with a fire axe in there truly his most articulate moment
Captain America, Optimus Prime, Jeff Winger the 3 greatest speech makers of all time
that look he shoots Cornelius before delivering the dad speech is a top 10 moment out of the whole show
"The only sharks in that water are the emotional ghosts I like to call fear, anchovies, fear"
We gotta give to Joel he’s amazing at this speeches ! His acting is crazy good !
R.I.P to Betty White and to michael k. williams the 'greatest' teachers of Greendale.

6 seasons and a MOVIE!
its cute how abed glued the pen together in first speech i still think its out of character but it was the pilot.
"El corazón del agua es verdad!"
"THAT WATER IS A LIE"
Jeff’s Graduation Speech is still the best one of the whole series. It’s that deep, specially if you watched it from day one, like I have. 6 Seasons and a Movie!!!
SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE!!
Jeff is the best
"Colonel Crypt Keeper" is by far my favourite insult from this show.
Suprising number of season 4 episodes
Because they're much better than the parrots give them credit for.
This video is perfect
like the board in the final speech said, six seasons and a movie!
Paradigms BY FAR
5:32 - ... did I hear that right? "The heart of water is green"
I think it’s verdad-true
Verdad means Truth. That's why the next line ("that water is a LIE!") is so damn funny.
Green in Spanish is verde.
4 of these 10 speeches are from Season4. Just thought that should be pointed out to anyone who likes to crap on that season.
Anyone else notice how the board in the background from the last speech says "Six Seasons And A Movie"?
The speech in the s3 finale is my favorite one
Jeff's Best Man speech from Garrett's wedding should be on this list or at least honorable mention
They're all different!
I like that the speech towards Piercinald's father is included. Idk if it counts as an officially certified Winger speech but the fact he actually killed someone with his words says a lot

I couldn't agree more
Just now noticing Jeff doesn't describe britta like he did the others
Well, he was trying to impress Britta during that scene, and at that point in the show she was the fellow straight-man with Jeff

I don't like how nearly half of these speeches are from Season 4
they're good speeches tho
