i just bought the 15 pro max last week.. i have no regrets even if the 16 came out after 5 or 6 months.. i am not upgrading regularly... i must tell.. the 15 is really good... i would use this phone for the next 5 years

Also while using the camera for a longer period of time. Especially if you are using raw max. I am not a gamer.. But i do play mobile legends and call of duty mobile. It is a little warm which is normal i guess. It's not unbearable to hold i must say. Btw. I'm using the full graphics settings for the games i play
Its not good if you ever used the 13 pro max or 14 max cause the batter gets hot on the 15 pro max and the material look cheaper imo. Also how you got worst battery then the 13 and 14 Pro max is crazy too me ( apple your being lazy)

With normal use (1-2 hours gaming, social media, web browsing). Almost half of the day i am using my 15 pro max in mobile data while at work. I am a little partial with the materials used. I love the titanium frame (i choose the natural titanium btw) since it hides the fingerprints well. Meanwhile the black and blue is a no go for me (tho the blue one is really tempting when i checked at the apple store) since the colloring on the sides chip off and shows the natural color of the metal beneath I musy say. The stainless steel frame in the 13 and 14 is beautiful in every way.. But it shows scratches and fingerprints easily.

I’m still carrying the XR since the launch, 5 years and half so far. It’s really impressive how the phone still functioning as good as new, *even though I took the phone to the extremes, Traveling, Camping , hiking, motorcycling, skiing, mountains, forests, beaches, a lot of hot spot, a lot of pictures and recording and games and finally a lot of drops. I don’t think Androids phones can do that type of thing.* I can’t wait to get the 16 pro max or whatever they making next. I think that’s gonna be a huge level up.
Nice, i have an xr too that ive had for 4 yrs but the charging port is getting dodgy and the speed is getting slower so I’m thinking about an upgrade. I have no idea whether to get a 15pro or wait for the 16 to see what it has to offer..
@@bobyice381 If u feel ur phone getting slower try to free up some space, clear apps cache. get rid of long big unnecessary videos. get rid of buggy apps, games and big size apps, files if u don’t really need them anymore. Clear browsing history on Chrome and Safari. Finally turn off/on ur phone to clear the RAM. This should sped up your phone and makes the battery performing better. Honestly I was too close of buying the 15 pro max. But after some research I think I’ll wait for the 16 to get some extra features. Cuz I’m kinda of a guy who uses his phone for years, I don’t buy a new phone every year.

I have a 12 and want to upgrade to the 15 pro max, I don’t like the smaller screen on the 12. I had the Samsung galaxy s23 ultra but didn’t want to pay 350 to repair it
I personally wouldn’t buy a base model so if you can afford a 16 pro or max I’d probably wait. If you find a 15 pro or max for a steal of a price then why not. Otherwise it really boils down to what your current device is and your needs.
I have the 14 pro max and charge it to 100% every time it needs a charge and my battery health is 100% I think fast charging hurts the battery more so than charging to full as well as a few other factors.
@@RollesHerwin I only charge when it needs to be charged usually under 10 percent. I’ve been using the 5 watt brick most of the time. Sometimes a wireless charger and since it’s 2 years old now I’ve been using the iPad Pro fast charger. Battery health is still at 100%
Heard iPhone 16 won’t change much so will wait for 17 and also the 15 changed a lot from the iPhone 14 like usb c Dynamic Island in regular 15 and brightness are the same on all iPhones on the 15

The 15 Plus would not really be much of an upgrade at all. Just get the Apple store to install a new battery in your 13PM, and wait for an iPhone with features worth upgrading to.

If it's true that the iphone 16 models are gonna have 40w wired charging than I'm probably gonna wait and depends on the price as well. And the capture button is good, improved battery, and brighter screen.
From the rumors around, I will probably wait for the 17s. My 14promax still rocks though I plan to downsize to the smaller pro model on my next upgrade. The 16pro will get a bigger display but only just a 3350mah battery. I want it to be atleast 3500mah or higher.

Avoiding iCloud storage is not solely tied to how much photos, videos you can store locally on phone but how much you can “upload to Cloud” in case of mishap like phone stolen etc. I prefer to pay monthly on 2tb family sharing iCloud subs instead risking my photo and video memories along with iMesaage backups..

My not so little Apple rant. I am fed up with the usual UA-cam shills (on Apple’s and others … reviewer freebies list … to avoid the term ‘payroll’). Not many of you (none …) mention the washed out on-screen colours of the 15 Pro/Max. I just came from a long line of Samsung phones, lately the S22 (non Ultra or + … the plain vanilla Galaxy S22) and there is simply no comparison! Samsung gives you the option of adjusting colour temperature and other nice things such as a ‘vivid’ and ‘natural’ setting with individual RGB sliders. Simply put, you can make the display look just as you want. Apple is offering … zilch! ‘True tone’ does not solve the issue neither do any of the, honestly, pretty useless settings in the Accessibility section such as ‘increase contrast’ or playing around with the horrid ‘colour filter’ options. There is some garbage talk online that the latest ios update affected screen vividness or something to that garbage effect. B****** … it’s just a lacklustre display. Another biggie, whilst I’m on it about the display. The 15 pro touts something like 1000 nits to 2000 nits peak brightness. What exactly the conditions have to be to achieve this … no f***** idea. Apple’s marketing department obviously had a wild time to come with this shit but let me tell you one thing; The lowly, almost forgotten (even at launch) Galaxy S22 … IS BRIGHTER AND MORE VIVID IN ALL LIGHTING CONDITIONS, be that outdoors or indoors. Believe me, I tried every possible setting on the 15 Pro … it doesn’t come close to the peak brightness of the S22. What a lot of b****** from Apple! Anyone thinking I am just a Samsung/Android fanboy … I am getting there! I changed to 15 Pro because I bought a MacBook Pro M2 last year. I like the MacBook A LOT but I am starting to REALLY disliking the 15 Pro. Then there is the issue of the hollow/plasticky sounding screen when tapping it. Samsung back their OLED’s with a metal plate. It means when you tap the screen it feels like solid glass not like a piece of plastic. Apple apparently attach the screen surround only and the OLED panel rests on the battery, hence the awful noise it makes when touching. Anyone saying this is not the case … tap from the edges inward and see what happens. - Really Apple?! Get your design folks sacked and try and snatch some from others, Samsung included! Battery life is … meh but that has, for a change, been accurately documented. Mostly, I assume, to re-direct folks to the more expensive MAX. - Problem is, Apple, in their infinite wisdom (!) have crippled the Max version by introducing that stupid 5x zoom. Most people shoot probably far more within the 3x zoom area. If you look at photos from the 15 Pro Max you soon realize that a large range of the zoom range below 5x is actually digitally done by the camera resulting in clearly inferior quality. This eats also into the 3x zoom and some way below! Now look and compare the 15 Pro (non Max) photos digitally extended to 5x and the compromise is far less, almost equalling the Pro Max’s 5 times zoom quality! Any more than that and things start to fall apart quickly but really, who actually shoots 5x and more to take quality pictures with a phone? If you do … get a proper camera or, if you really must a Samsung S24 Ultra though that one is just one huge, ugly brick … . Still, the usual suspects (youtube shills) of course love that one too (in order to stay on the phone manufacturers reviewer list). Which leaves me with the one and only redeeming feature of the 15 Pro that makes it stand out … the camera. Better than the MAX version, better probably than most Samsung’s including the new ones. It really is a great piece of technology (the camera, not the phone!). How a company like Apple can release such a flawed, under featured turd of a flag ship phone for top dollars is beyond me, especially as the make the lovely MacBook Pro’s. They seem to have truly lost it. I am within the 14 day return policy whilst writing this and think another Samsung (the non-Ultra … Plus or plain vanilla S24) is close. Enjoy
I did enjoy that. Agree with most of it. I held my 12 Pro Max beside an iPhone 11 and wondered what was wrong with my "much superior" OLED screen. (People who think an Apple OLED is much superior, need to get their eyes tested!) The old iPhone 11 looked much better. I did manage to get the 12PM to looking acceptable by using the blue/yellow filter and setting the slider to about 25%. So the screen is capable of looking better, but why should it need adjusting. Are the people at Apple visually impaired in some way?

I don’t think the 16 will be a big year personally. I had the 14 pro but sadly it ended up getting stolen on a night out and I ended up getting the 15 pro to replace it. Overall I was more impressed with it than expected, the Usbc is quite useful and also the titanium makes the weight more manageable and nicer to hold plus 24mp camera is quite nice.
If you want to go current gen., then the iphone 15 plus is the get to go device.... period. The 16 base models will be a dissapointment given that this years base models stole the show. They will even decrease the battery on the Plus model plus they will put a binned version of the A18. The Pro Max Model will be a better buy in case of high end specs ( 4600mah battery with thermal insulator, evaporation chamber like alternative, new 1.14nm lens ). In terms of AI dont expect from Apple to be a gamechanger as they are already in co-op with Google which means they will lag behind. Their narrated AI feautures will be neat at the presentation but i wouldnt have high expectations in daily life. To sum up, if you want to get an iphone now get the 15 Plus, if you want to get a Pro model then wait another 6 months.

The iPhone 15PM is just version 4 of the 12 Pro Max. Same design and same user interface. I’m still waiting for a “must have” upgrade.
I wouldnt consider 12 on the same level with 13 and 14s. Battery life was a game changer starting from 13.

I back up my phone to my mac then transfer it to my storage device which is 4TB. I have all my backups storage there my iPads and iPhones data.

After having the iPhone 12 Pro Max for 3 1/2 years I think I will wait for the iPhone 16 Pro since Fall 2024 its not that far knowing how time flies by! But probably getting the iPhone 16 Pro and Not Pro Max since I did get tired of holding a really big phone in my hand. So I will be ready for the iPhone 16 Pro in Fall 2024

iPhones reached a spot where hardware progress is slow, we need more AI investment like Google does with its camera and photo removing people etc
The 16 Pro is probably just gonna have a larger screen with AI &... a faster processor which means nothing.
I mean the AI features are a big deal but I'd imagine a software update would pass it on to the previous phones.

My not so little Apple rant.
I am fed up with the usual UA-cam shills (on Apple’s and others … reviewer freebies list … to avoid the term ‘payroll’). Not many of you (none …) mention the washed out on-screen colours of the 15 Pro/Max. I just came from a long line of Samsung phones, lately the S22 (non Ultra or + … the plain vanilla Galaxy S22) and there is simply no comparison! Samsung gives you the option of adjusting colour temperature and other nice things such as a ‘vivid’ and ‘natural’ setting with individual RGB sliders. Simply put, you can make the display look just as you want. Apple is offering … zilch! ‘True tone’ does not solve the issue neither do any of the, honestly, pretty useless settings in the Accessibility section such as ‘increase contrast’ or playing around with the horrid ‘colour filter’ options.
There is some garbage talk online that the latest ios update affected screen vividness or something to that garbage effect. B****** … it’s just a lacklustre display.
Another biggie, whilst I’m on it about the display. The 15 pro touts something like 1000 nits to 2000 nits peak brightness. What exactly the conditions have to be to achieve this … no f***** idea. Apple’s marketing department obviously had a wild time to come with this shit but let me tell you one thing; The lowly, almost forgotten (even at launch) Galaxy S22 … IS BRIGHTER AND MORE VIVID IN ALL LIGHTING CONDITIONS, be that outdoors or indoors. Believe me, I tried every possible setting on the 15 Pro … it doesn’t come close to the peak brightness of the S22. What a lot of b****** from Apple!
Anyone thinking I am just a Samsung/Android fanboy … I am getting there! I changed to 15 Pro because I bought a MacBook Pro M2 last year. I like the MacBook A LOT but I am starting to REALLY disliking the 15 Pro.
Then there is the issue of the hollow/plasticky sounding screen when tapping it. Samsung back their OLED’s with a metal plate. It means when you tap the screen it feels like solid glass not like a piece of plastic. Apple apparently attach the screen surround only and the OLED panel rests on the battery, hence the awful noise it makes when touching. Anyone saying this is not the case … tap from the edges inward and see what happens. - Really Apple?! Get your design folks sacked and try and snatch some from others, Samsung included!
Battery life is … meh but that has, for a change, been accurately documented. Mostly, I assume, to re-direct folks to the more expensive MAX. - Problem is, Apple, in their infinite wisdom (!) have crippled the Max version by introducing that stupid 5x zoom. Most people shoot probably far more within the 3x zoom area. If you look at photos from the 15 Pro Max you soon realize that a large range of the zoom range below 5x is actually digitally done by the camera resulting in clearly inferior quality. This eats also into the 3x zoom and some way below! Now look and compare the 15 Pro (non Max) photos digitally extended to 5x and the compromise is far less, almost equalling the Pro Max’s 5 times zoom quality! Any more than that and things start to fall apart quickly but really, who actually shoots 5x and more to take quality pictures with a phone? If you do … get a proper camera or, if you really must a Samsung S24 Ultra though that one is just one huge, ugly brick … . Still, the usual suspects (youtube shills) of course love that one too (in order to stay on the phone manufacturers reviewer list).
Which leaves me with the one and only redeeming feature of the 15 Pro that makes it stand out … the camera. Better than the MAX version, better probably than most Samsung’s including the new ones. It really is a great piece of technology (the camera, not the phone!).
How a company like Apple can release such a flawed, under featured turd of a flag ship phone for top dollars is beyond me, especially as the make the lovely MacBook Pro’s. They seem to have truly lost it.
I am within the 14 day return policy whilst writing this and think another Samsung (the non-Ultra … Plus or plain vanilla S24) is close.

I did enjoy that. Agree with most of it. I held my 12 Pro Max beside an iPhone 11 and wondered what was wrong with my "much superior" OLED screen. (People who think an Apple OLED is much superior, need to get their eyes tested!) The old iPhone 11 looked much better. I did manage to get the 12PM to looking acceptable by using the blue/yellow filter and setting the slider to about 25%. So the screen is capable of looking better, but why should it need adjusting. Are the people at Apple visually impaired in some way?

In terms of the battery life, the 15 pro, not pro max, is actually worse than the regular 15.
I don’t think the 16 will be a big year personally. I had the 14 pro but sadly it ended up getting stolen on a night out and I ended up getting the 15 pro to replace it. Overall I was more impressed with it than expected, the Usbc is quite useful and also the titanium makes the weight more manageable and nicer to hold plus 24mp camera is quite nice.
If you like a smaller pro then don’t wait

If you want to go current gen., then the iphone 15 plus is the get to go device.... period. The 16 base models will be a dissapointment given that this years base models stole the show. They will even decrease the battery on the Plus model plus they will put a binned version of the A18. The Pro Max Model will be a better buy in case of high end specs ( 4600mah battery with thermal insulator, evaporation chamber like alternative, new 1.14nm lens ). In terms of AI dont expect from Apple to be a gamechanger as they are already in co-op with Google which means they will lag behind. Their narrated AI feautures will be neat at the presentation but i wouldnt have high expectations in daily life. To sum up, if you want to get an iphone now get the 15 Plus, if you want to get a Pro model then wait another 6 months.
